Nice water features with the creek and some waterfalls. Well marked trails. Very light traffic on a mild January Sunday afternoon.
Nice trail, scenic outlook at the turn point. The trail is marked but it’s easy to miss the turns and you can get turned around in there. Recommend using pro.
Poorly marked. You’ll need your phone for a good chunk of the hike to know where to go.
Cool hike, not exactly moderate (little easier than what I’m used to all trails deeming moderate) but great hike and not TOO many people
Ups and downs. Good exercise!! Cardio city.
Nice short hike most people I’ve ever seen on this trail, but I guess it’s cause of the times
We took the yellow trail to white and finally orange out to the lookout. The white trail heads were faded and hard to follow occasionally. Where the yellow trail meets white was very subtle and easily missed. Overall a pleasant hike, rocky at times and amazing lookout!
Kind of hard to find the trailhead from the parking lot, so definitely have the map downloaded or on your GPS. Not a very varied hike but a nice stroll through the woods.
07/18/20. Parking lot is closed. You must continue passed and keep driving until the stop sign and then make a left. If you keep driving you'll get to a new parking spot. You can walk down a road about 15 minutes to hop into the trail towards the bottom. Lots of bugs and a little over run with weeds but a tough trail and good trail none the less. I had about 10% left until I got to the top where I saw bear poop. Since I was solo hiking I decided to turn around a go back.
I nice walk through the woods. The view at the top is pretty awesome!
The trail itself is nice. Good mix of terrain, some steeper spots but they are fairly short. Hawk Watch was very crowded.
This was a great hike to a fantastic view where on a clear day you can just see the NYC skyline. Along the way we spotting a pileated woodpecker and several other interesting birds. Download your maps since you may loose a signal and there’s lots of smaller trails to explore.
Scrubby trail; parts take you by high wires. Not very scenic. Might come back to try blue trail but there are better trails in the area.
