My absolute favorite hiking trail in New Jersey. Beautiful selection of wildflowers. Spectacular views, unique hiking experience. Wear bug spray as mosquitoes can be a problem in the wet season. Parking can be tricky so avoid peak times. Hike very early in the morning or late in the afternoon on weekends.

Nice views!

Great for all!

Loved it. It is in shade and pretty clearly marked. I believe steepness depends on how long the legs are on the person you ask. Views were breathtaking. Worth it.

A nice challenge. Starts off easy with a beautiful walk through marshlands, then concludes with a steep, fairly rigorous climb to a hilltop vantage point with great views of the entire valley.

In the middle forested 1mi., we ran into a horrendous amount of mosquitoes. We had 20+ bites each. Definitely bring repellant, especially if it's rained recently!

I loved this trail! It’s perfect how it ends with sunfish pond before turning around and heading back. I set up camp closer to the MOC since backcountry camping is not permitted in Worthington State Forest but the hike down to the pond and back wasn’t too easy and not too difficult either. The elevations didn’t change too drastically and the views were truly amazing throughout the trail. The employee at the MOC Was extremely helpful and they allow you to park your car in there lot and have you fill out a form so they know to look if you don’t return when you said you would. This helped me feel a bit at ease since I went by myself. Overall a great experience and I will definitely be returning.

Great hike with tons of amazing views! I did come across a bear with her two little cubs but they just walked on through. It’s a rocky trail but the elevation changes aren’t too drastic. I look forward to going back!

Falls were astounding—amazing noise & power of water. Huge amount of work planking and railing the trail and the great views of the falls make it worth the cost. Fascinating to see the brown (tannins?) water on the main stream, but a clear one feeding it. Great diversity of mushrooms!

Love this trail! Not nearly as long as you’d hope but still gorgeous. It’s been raining a lot recently so the falls were extra flowing! Side note- you have to go past the location it tells you- something “Pine Cabins” for sale. You want to enter the park there to actually walk. The location this app brings you to is the opposite side and you don’t get as much gorgeous views.

Nice trail, completely in shade with lovely green cover and little brooks crisscrossing every now and then like naughty kids. Not very steep as few reviews suggested. The white markers take you right to the top and extend onto the AT. Do not miss the big pile of rocks once you feel like you reached the top. The view to the vista is left from the pile and can be easily missed. Technically the trail ends at the vista unless you are a through AT hiker. Nice to meet the through AT hikers and have a chat with them learning their experiences.

easy 5 and something km. easy to track the red labels on the trees. beautiful waterfalls across the path.

Beautiful trail, unique plants and swamp landscape.

We went at a perfect time and i took some awesome pics so it was pretty cool!!

Quick hike! Very clean and dog friendly.

Hi all, I was wondering if there’s someone who want to join this trail during this week! Let me know. INSTAGRAM: @Sarisdu or sarisdu@hotmail.com.

Views are beautiful for what is a short moderate hike but unfortunatley this is an extremely popular hike that gets overcrowded on the weekends. Its become such a problem that the town has come out creating and enforcing new parking laws so be carful in that aspect.

Hackers falls and the views from cliff park trail makes this a must do hike in the area. Not too difficult with not much elevation gain, so this is usually my go to hike when a friend or family member who doesnt hike much wants to join me. While the Raymond falls can get quite crowded, hackers trail and cliff park trail are usually quiet.

Awesome Hike !!! This was my first hike. Great hike for beginners. Short hike with Great View!

Such a great hike on such a beautiful day!

Absolutely gorgeous. One of kind bog unique for any location. Enjoy the nice walk.

Amazing place!! We really enjoyed it! We will be going back! Make sure to get there early, parking lot fills up really quick !!

Small part of the trail is still closed. I ran the open parts (from Raymondskill Falls to Milford Beach) in July, and enjoyed it a lot. We hiked parts of the cliff trail yesterday and combined it with Pond Loop and Buchanan Trail. Great for running, good for hiking, really nice views from the lookout points. Enjoyed the elevation changes a lot, too.

It rained off and on during our hike, and since it was raining today (and rained the previous day) there was lots of water flowing and very few people. Nice.

Yes, you have to pay for admission, but the boardwalks give you access to some otherwise inaccessible views inside the gorge. Lots of trees fell as a result of the nor’ easter last March. Privately owned Bushkill Falls is open and NPS Dingmans Falls and George W. Childs are both still closed.

Great views for an easy hike, not much elevation gain and its very gradual. Trail is extremely rocky though, which is expected on the AT, so wear sturdy hiking boots. September I believe is the busiest time of the year do to nesting and trail being overcrowded with birdwatchers.

Raymondskill falls is beautiful! Parking lot fills up fast on the weekends so get there early. I got there at 10:30am and got a spot. But by 12pm there was no parking left.

This trail was great and had breathtaking views! It took us about 3 hours total. An hour hiking up. An hour at the top having lunch. An hour hiking back down. It is VERY steep coming up and down, we needed a 5 minute break going up. Also very rocky the entire hike. Make sure you have the proper shoes! When you reach a giant rock pile with the wooden sign that says “View” make a left by the blue dot trail and follow that up to see the view!

Great overlooks.. not great marking but easy to find..used my app to help in spots to keep me on track... some of the cliff trail was blocked because of Falcons nesting on cliffs, but can go on most of it along the cliffs
Took cliff trail to Milford Knob & back

New Jersey doesn't have many peaks but the elevation on this trail is quite nice. Not a difficult hike but the heat can get you so hydrate well!
