Great trail. Well maintained and marked. I would have given it a five if I’d run into less people along the trail.

Lots of ups and downs . A bit challenging with leaves covering rocks and stumps. Have your hiking boots on and take it slow in the Fall.

Really nice well marked hike. Easy, but long enough to get a reasonable amount of exercise. I’d like to go back when the rhododendrons are in bloom!

Great trail for hiking. Bring a map. Well defined trail but intersects with numerous other trails within Arcadia. Lots of options to make hike as long as you want. Easily can do loop just around Pond, about 1.5 miles total. Great views. Wear your orange during hunting season. Good parking lot.

Really great moderate trail. Took us just under two hours with a quick stop at the waterfall for some lunch. Simple but great hike

Great trail. Well kept. Great parking lot. Trail maps available. Well maintained scenic trail with two bridges.

Perfect fall walk in the woods,

It was so nice for me and my dog

Nice little hike, trails were well marked and the scenery was beautiful and serene.

Nice trail. Rocky. Dogs are allowed with leash. Great view of Jamestown bridge. The beach section (0.25 mile section) was full of shells which was hard on the pups paws. Last mile of trail is narrow, but overall nice trail.

Not much of a hike, a pretty cool abandon fort. Bring a flashlight for the inside areas. If you spook easy bring a friend (with s flashlight). Bring camera too. Enjoy!

This was a great little hike for kids and family. Took our 3 kids age 10, 7 and 3 and they loved it. Very quiet but lots to see, waterfall, cemetery, little bridges, lake. Parking was good and easy to find

great views of the lake and the trail is well maintained!

Great walk. the south end of it does get slightly tricky so wear good sneakers. I started from the middle went north then did the entire length of the trail. it took me about 3 hours. but I did stop at the University there and walked the campus which was maybe 30 mins. I would definitely do it again

Love it! Parking can be a bit of a hassle for busy days but a wonderful area!

Great hike! Take water if a hot day, and maybe call an uber driver to take you back to start.

Nice afternoon hike. First-time visit. Very rocky and many tree roots/tree’s down throughout the trail. A few steep stairways. OK for large breed dogs (I brought my Golden retriever).

It was amazing! It’s perfect for running and hiking. The view is breathtaking.

Me and my 9 year old daughter hiked the blue trail on a Monday morning. We had a great time. Trails are clearly marked. We will definitely return.

Nice 2.5 mile hike. A little challenging, but our 3 and 4.5 year olds were able to complete it. Bring bug spray. Will come back in the fall to see the foliage!

I've hiked this trail several times but never hiked the entire length of the trail. It is incredibly scenic esp at the point at Ocean Avenue where all the mansions are.

big area with tons of trails and other fun things to do.

Well maintained. Decent amount of traffic. Great views along the coast.

Great hike! We started south and ended north. Not many fellow hikers at the start but by the end (closer to the north entrance) it got more crowded.

I would definitely recommend going when it’s cooler. I’ll be back to do more of the trails in The colder months. There were just way to many bugs to enjoy it. The trails were good. I would rate it moderate more than easy.

only 1.5 miles if you stick by pond didnt have full map til return.Wish we had whole map. Nice clear and flat

Small, but very quiet, peaceful, and beautiful. Took us about two hours to make the biggest loop, and that included many stops at the waterfront and bridges. It's mostly shaded and a nice walk, just beware of tree roots across the path. Limited parking and very narrow dirt roads to get there, but once you're there it's a nice hike.

Lots of ways to do these breakheart area trails. Today we did this loop roughly with a side trip to Alton Jones Whispering Pines campus to fetch our dog Zip, who decided it was more fun to chase deer than pay attention to us!
