trail running

Nice little jaunt up. Drove up almost to the tracks in my outback but the road got a bit too bumpy for my low vehicle. Took the road up and the trail down. No visibility as the clouds were moving in. But nice area. Next time I’ll park at the very bottom and make for a longer run.

great hike lots of views. good easy trail.

Some difficult parts in snow, overall really fun hike!

amazing views.. worth the hike

great trail through forest and exposed rocky terrain. some route finding in last km of hike towards landslide. watch that you don't follow cairns that could lead you to stray!

Such a gorgeous little trail! Great in all seasons and my kids love it. In the winter, the meadow is a prime snowman - building zone. Quick and easy for young and old alike, and gives you that wonderful hushed forest sensation. Love!

Bonus for often being able to meet people’s fun little dogs!

loved this hike. good moderately physical hike. great views. brought my 4 dogs and they did fine. amazing Arbutus trees everywhere ❤

Didn’t leave ourselves enough time to do full hike (started too late in the day) The Start has a pretty steep goat trail up, but great view of the lake leading to a pretty, loamy trail thru woodlands. Enjoyed and will try again when we can do entire hike.

What an amazingly scenic route through a rare Garry Oak ecosystem. It is like a fairyland! My three kids aged 9, 7 and 3 loved it!

This is a great trail if you keep going past the trail maintained sign you can get to the site of the old lookout now a radio tower

definitely a steep hike to the top but gorgeous views! the rest of the trail is fairly even and downhill. great hike!

Straight up! Very steep but great view from the top.

It was definitely a good moderate workout as there as some very steep parts. I had read other reviews indicating the muddy area near the falls so I made sure to bring spare gloves which made the experience much more enjoyable.

other than a bit of steep scrambling it is mostly moderate. well marked, if you can't see an orange marker, you veered off course. great views part way and at the top.

Amazing hike! No one there but us, cool bridge and amazing waterfall. Didn’t walk all the way to the lake but would definitely do again!

first time ever it was amazing!

This was a beautiful trail. What I loved is it wasn’t too difficult, nice for a quick weekender, the lake was stunning! We swam in it, it was cold! What I would do different, not go over a long weekend. We went over the September long weekend, it was so busy we almost couldn’t find a spot to camp in either of the designated areas. I would go midweek if I were to do it again, just to keep the people to a minimum.

Steeper then expected, ropes involved, slippery surface

Very nice view once you get to the top. A good cardio workout. But dogs are not allowed off leash.

Great workout and lots of fun!

Nice trail to explore and take the dogs out.

Great place to walk with kids during the day. Lots to look at and explore along the trail.

Really nice climb, nothing too hard or steep, easier than expected, also easy to follow orange markers for the straight to the top trail.
Some nice viewing points before the top but actually a little further up then this app is telling you.

A go to for a nice afternoon. Great views of the mountains and water. A nice little butt burner.

Steep but a fun trail and didn't encounter anybody so it was fun for the dogs.
