It was absolutely beautiful and the finish was very rewarding.

Georgia state parks never cease to amaze me. This trail was absolutely beautiful and a wonderful hike right on the creeks edge

Fun and short for a 4 & 6 yr old.

Wonderful trail. Howecer, one way was a little too much for a 4 & 6 year old, so once we made it down to Craven's we had a Lyft driver bail us out and drive us back up to Point Park.

Very unique hike with around 20 river crossings out and back. The trail is poorly marked and it is very easy to lose track. Follow the light green markings/ pink ribbons. The hike itself is easy up to the waterfall but gets harder and steeper after that, to the overlook. Went mid October and the shallow water was mid calf deep. Get ready to hike with wet shoes

Real fun trail with a fun mixture of paths.

Great hike with views. However, my GPS showed the hike closer to 6.5 miles and not 5.6.

This hike was wonderful! It was a little long for our 5 year old but he still had a good time. So many different creek views! It was like something out of a postcard around every turn! Towering rocks, running creeks and fall leaves all around!

This is my favorite loop I've found so far! Not insanely difficult but you'll feel like you did some good work after it. Love it!

Nice hike to attractive 65 foot waterfall. Marked with blue i-shaped paint blazes. Mostly flat and easy on wide trail until you reach the stone steps down to the base of the falls at the very end. Go after a good rain for best waterfall viewing. Overall, best short hike at Chilhowee Recreation Area.

it was fun, but the whole time I felt like I was lost. the markings are incredibly confusing.

Best trail in the park

A great easy walk. There was enough water over the falls to make it beautiful.

Great hike with beautiful scenic views. The stairs are the only real challenge.

Great stroll around Red Top with views of Allatoona Lake. It’s more like 5.5 miles total.

This was a great trail for taking my 4 yr. old and 8 yr. old kids.

Trail is beautiful! It is marked well. It has several waterfalls ...they are not huge but still nice! There are swimming holes, rock formations, big trees to keep it shaded in hot weather. The path is full of roots and rocks so you have to watch where your walking constantly...... so don’t forget to stop and take in the scenery because it’s awesome! We took the spur trail to Sycamore Falls which seems longer than it actually is because of all the rock hopping but worth it! We didn’t go to the base of the falls ... it looked like you may have to cross the creek to get to where we would have liked to be ...planning on coming back in warmer weather. Anyone would love this trail, but you do have to pay attention to each step you take, there are some narrow rocky paths with drop offs so just be careful and enjoy!

We just hiked this on 10/10/18 . I can tell you that the trails are not clearly marked. the trail head does t even tell you your at conasauga river trail. it's just a big sign with a blurry map and you walk dow a road a little with a little wooden sign that just says trail. almost missed it. once you get to the river it is beautiful down there. but it's very hard to tell which way to go. we went left oops. haha wrong way came back after a pretty good distant walk. went right this time. found the trail most of the way think we crossed the river 5 times. before we couldn't see a trail anymore so we gave up found a camping spot and camped for the night. that was the night of hurricane Michael. well we woke up and the rover did rise quite a bit and was flowing fast so we decided to pack up and head back. Just wish the trails where clearly marked in some way. even with just marking tape . other then that we will be back to do it again!!!

Nice trail, easy, wide path, but why $5?

Great park, couple different trail options. Steps can be strenuous but overall super easy and enjoyable afternoon hike.

Fabulous trail well marked for the experienced hiker. Trails were well maintained. Absolutely beautiful scenery.

The trail was great Did a overnight all the water is at the bottom Not a lot of used to get to the bottom it's gorgeous the waterfall was dry but still very cool Will go back to see it flow Can't get lost so don't worry just enjoy

One of my favorite waterfalls, and I've seen a lot! Make sure to go up this trail all the way to the falls, and go up the side of the falls. There's a little secret hidden behind.

An amazing experience. I have only recently started hiking so I was a little nervous about jumping right into this, but I am so glad that I did. The scenery is breathtaking. I was definitely winded when I got back to the vehicle, but loved every step of it.

SUNGLASSES: If you happen to locate a pair of Maui Jim sunglasses on this trail, then we would love to get them back! (kirk_e_hunt at yahoo dot com) We discovered a pair of sunglasses that someone left behind at the end, brought them back to the trailhead, and left them hanging on the trailhead sign. Hoping the owners will happen to come back and find them and also that one good trail deed will return one to us! Ha!

This was a very enjoyable hike! My wife and I, and our six children (ages 9-14), completed the in & out hike in about 5 hours to include an hour spent eating lunch and exploring the area at the end of the trail. I agree with the “hard” difficulty rating as the ascent back to the parking area is physically demanding. You’re not required to necessarily be “in shape”, but simply capable of physically handling the challenge. The kids handled it well and had a great time! They especially loved climbing and exploring around the area at the end.

The falls were dried up, as the area hasn’t had any decent rain in a while, but there was plentiful water that allowed us to filter and resupply our water before heading back out (water at the end was clear and refreshingly cold).

The trail itself wasn’t anything “exciting”, but the end was fully worth it. Several primitive campsites available in the valley section that I hope to make use of in the near future. Looking forward to going again 1) when there is a good water flow and 2) when the leaves are gone and are not masking a good view of the canyon walls.

Had a great time hiking the trails. My dog and I hiked all of the Orange Trail, all of the Blue Trail, all of the Family Loop biking trail (counterclockwise) and hiked from the Family Loop parking lot to the RV campground and then back along the road. All trails were very well marked with paint blazes. The only word of caution is to keep your eyes on the billions of roots!

Slippery rocks by the falls. And some other challenges along the way. But a great hike overall. Awesome scenery on the bluff trail and a gorgeous waterfall. You absolutely have to do both.

The Waterfalls are wonderful, well worth the stairs to them .

love it

Have visited Cloudland Canyon several times. This is a great place even for children. Was warned by a Ranger, stay off the rocks. Also stay off Sittons Gluch Trail it goes nowhere. It ends where people live. We were blessed a man with a pickup truck happened to come by and drove us back to the parking lot.
