Some pretty underwhelming bridges. I will say the middle of Cheyene Canon was very nice though. It was super windy, very quiet and peaceful, may as well just hang out around the center and views from the side and skip the bridges.

First time on this trail this afternoon. Nice trail, a few mildly interesting spots and a bit of a view right before the falls. Even without any mind blowing highlights, there is pretty complete immersion in nature. Was a bit icy in spots... I didn’t have any traction devices and my dog and I were just fine, but bring some kind of spikes if you aren’t comfortable on ice. There are still plenty of decent foot placements that aren’t solid ice if your eyes are open, but I’m sure many would appreciate spikes. I’m wondering how this’ll be in late winter/spring though... yikes!

Some mention they recorded the trail as longer than 6.3 miles, but my gps recorded it at 6.2 miles, 1440 ft of ascent, and it didn’t feel any longer than that to me.

Excellent trail! It seems most don't make it to the top past the old steam engine. The last 1/2 mile is steeper than the rest but the views are worth it.

Recommend 4x4 to trailhead parking due to washout road.

Most of the trail was still covered in snow due to recent snowfall in October 2018.

Nice trail!

Great trail and very easy to hike

Beautiful but definitely a challenge. If you are visiting, bring water and be prepared for climbing up on rocks. Waterfall was lovely even though it’s not a lot of water. But considering it hasn’t rained, it was such a treat to hear any water. Loved it.

Beautiful trail nice creek to look at. Lots of different vegetation. Lots of cover from the trees so a little chilly in the cooler months.

very nice trail run

This is a beautiful hike. The trailhead is about a mile from the parking lot on the right and is marked as 622. Above the last bridge, there’s a lot of loose gravel/rocks that can get a bit sketchy at times. The trail shifts to 622A, which will take you to the Apens. After the Aspens, you will come to a trail junction. To the far right you will see an unmarked trail that will take you to the top of Keneo. This hike is all up, but definitely worth it. Took us about 2 hours up and about and 1:15 to get down. We took lots of picture.

Beautiful view of the Broadmoors 7 falls and zip lining course

Great payoff for the short hike!

If you're looking for an easy hike, this isn't it. Almost the entire way to the falls is uphill & there are several parts of the trail that are narrow (1 person wide). It is doable for beginners, but it will be pretty difficult. Tread carefully & watch your step. Wear good hiking shoes if you plan on going to the top. Bring some snacks like Clif bars & plenty of water/Gatorade.

Beautiful views of nature throughout the hike (especially when you get higher up), and it wasn't overpopulated like a lot of touristy places are. You will be immersed in nature. We noticed a bunch of small Brook Trout swimming in the stream that leads up to the falls, which was the only sign of wildlife we saw on our trek. Once you get to St. Mary's Falls, there will be a waterfall on a steep slab rock. I wouldn't say it is "magnificent", but it's still quite pretty. There are some rock stairs that lead you up to a sitting area of log benches and a better position to look at the falls. Our group went in mid-October, so it was significantly colder when we reached the top. The temperature when we got to the parking lot was high 60's, but when we reached St. Mary's Falls there was snow on the ground! If you go later in the year, bring a sweatshirt or jacket. When the sun went down behind the mountains, it also got significantly cooler.

One thing we did notice is the trail is longer than 6.3 miles, which was mentioned by some other reviewers. There's a part on the trail with a sign that states the falls are 1.7 miles away, but it's actually closer to 2.4 miles away. We clocked the total hike (there & back) as over 7.5 miles. There might be some discrepancies between our mileage and other hikers' mileages, but regardless it's definitely longer than 6.3 miles.

Despite being in pain for a large portion of the hike, I enjoyed this hike overall & would do it again. (Next time I will bring better hiking shoes!)

Beautiful trail. Very scenic with the running water, bridges and foliage. The only downside was the walk from the parking lot to the trailhead. It was littered with dog waste so you had to be careful where you walked. Pet owners need to pick up after their pets.

This was a very nice trail with beautiful views at the top. We clocked it as closer to 6.7 to 6.9 miles. The last part is fairly steep. The water flow was low, but there was a bit of ice around the falls which made it very pretty. We did not encounter too many people on the actual trail up to the falls. Most turned off and went the Seven Bridges route.

Trail is maintained very well, very calming hike next to the flowing stream. The entire trail is uphill, however the top is worth reaching for the view of the valley.

who knew such a little trail could hold so many views

Really liked this hike. Just the right amount of challenge. Could definitely backpack in and camp at one of the primitive campsites. Loved all the creek crossings and beautiful aspens! This trail was a little more shaded than I had planned for so I was a bit chilly until I got moving. Will be back!

got a late start so we made it half way up but we will return again to finish! beautiful trail

Well marked and great views. Great trail to see some wildlife if the right time of year.

Just hiked it today. Very pretty trail with a good size aspen grove at the end. The leaves will be gone soon. Some of the trees are already bare. Hurry if you want to see them. The trail is definitely moderate with one pretty sketchy spot if you continue past the last bridge. You won’t like that part if you’re not too crazy about heights. Lots of slippery loose gravel. It’s more like 5.8 miles there and back if you keep going to get to the aspens.

totally enjoyed it! the aspen leaves were gorgeous!

The view at the end is worth the hike up!!! Get up on top of the big rocks for the best view!

A step trail up and over the falls. Very pretty and if you want to hike longer there are many more trails close.

Hiked this trail today. Trail maintenance group were working on the trail which is very well maintained. As Ashley Reed pointed out last week this trail us NOT marked as Seven Bridges Trail, but as Trail 622. Trailhead is about a mile up Gold Camp Road from the final parking lot above Helen Hunt Falls. We only hiked up to Bridge #7, but others coming down from the top of the trail said the aspens were peak. North Cheyenne Creek runs all along the trail with several small falls. Beautiful trail, great day!

Very good hike! Challenging but very rewarding. We went over labor day weekend so it was busy. Uphill the whole way made for a great workout. Would recommend!
