Fun trail. Little muddy, but not terribly. Passed a couple groups of bikes, maybe eight bikes in total. Trail itself was maybe moderate difficult, at most, but definitely wouldn’t give it a difficult rating. Would hike it again for sure. Seems like a great tubing or swimming spot in the summer!

Super easy hike, flat mostly paved (it was a road) be sure to go up hill and off of the paved track to see the old church, then back on the paved road to see the rest of Daniels. Interesting walk, beautiful view of the river!

Today was quite a nice day with temps in the mid 40's and plenty of sun out. I chose to RIDE today instead of hiking in the woods because of the weather. It was a great day to suck up some vitamin D. This is a great loop to bike and it's always a hard workout for me. I always go downhill when looping around the farm section. If I go the other way I gotta hike the bike up the hill. The only thing I hate is all the stop and goes because of highways. Today, I rode my custom Huffy single speed geared at 44/18.

Great trail in great area, final section at V-turn on Dolfield Trail the trail has turned into a creek bed ~ 3-5in of water. Otherwise, well-marked and fairly vacant even on a Saturday morning.

The trail itself is very good. The loop runs adjacent to the river for a while and the waterfall section is beautiful and a great place to sit down and take in the scenery. However, the trail isn't marked too well and you can miss the route for the falls pretty easily. Overall though the trail is nice, easy, and family friendly (just watch the kids around the falls).

Beautiful trail. Had to cross a few streams but nothing to serious. Will definitely go back again. The waterfalls are breathtaking.

Very nice views during fall time. Definitely recommended!

Great trail! Muddy but not too bad

I hike this at night under moon light. Saw a few deer. Nice views of the river.

Easy hike along the river, with lots of history along the way. Impressive cliffs and river views along the entire route. Make sure to visit the church ruins on the hill.

Map has factual and attribute error, attribute bias. Trails all run together and overlap. Highlighted trail is not soapstone trail. All trails overgrown and mostly unmarked. Really sad.

Nice moderate trail with a number of hills and valleys

somewhat muddy. decent trail system

Great trail for Scouts of any skill level. Sign on Red trail says "Extremely Difficult". It's not.

One of the best trails for the Gunpowder area. Open views. Many extra little paths. Gradual inclines but mostly flat. Not boring scenery.

It is what the name says.. a pleasant easy hike.

a little muddy after rains... can be hard to get around. otherwise very nice!

Heads up: LOWER PORTION OF TRAIL FLOODED 11/4/2018

Nice hike very dog friendly. Not marked well.

Love this trail! Beautiful and fun!!!

This trail is great. Very hilly though

Love this trail. I don't have to get in my car to drive to a trail. And this place is beautiful

Beautiful views w. lots of history.

Hike along water streams, nice view.

Very wet trail today - like a creek bed in many spots. Beautiful; rare savanna in Maryland

Beautiful trail. Almost missed the waterfall after making the entire loop, but checked the map on this app and backtracked a bit to the falls. Glad we did! Definitely a moderate hike, not too much in the way of elevation, and all around enjoyable. We will be back!

Trail offers a variety of scenery and the elevation gains keep it interesting. The area is open to hunting, so be sure to wear bright colors. Towards the beginning and end of the way out is best- did not really enjoy the middle portion that includes walking along a gravel road. On the way out, I thought it was more moderate than hard. However, I think the rocky terrain wears on you and I began to get tired coming back. Hiked on a Friday and did not see another person until almost back to the parking lot. A good little workout.
