Great trail! mostly flat, offers a few great views of the lake just a small walk off the trail. Great for the dogs and any level of hiker. Trails are decently marked, but I refered to the app a few times to make sure I was on the right path. From the parking lot walk to the right, go left at the road, walk 20 feet, turn left at the trail gate, everything is easy to see. Fun trail, took 3 hours taking our sweet time.

pretty easy, nice view at the top

Great hike. Took the East Summit Trail up and the West Summit Trail back down. It has been relatively warm and most of the snow on the bottom half of the mountain had melted. The ascent was moderate with a few sections that were quite strenuous. The descent was slightly more difficult since the West trail is a bit steeper and the snow was slipping under foot. I didn't see any wildlife besides squirrels, chipmunk and tons of birds; however, there were plenty or deer and bear tracks in the snow.

Awesome hike! Beautiful trails and 300 degree view from the top..my 5 year old with a lil motivation and carrying up a few yards here and there was able to get to the summit..will def be hiking here again

Easy walk. Lots of dog owners with pets off leash. Nice field area with birdhouses and apiary. We started off trail far east of the Audubon off Spofford road. Trail started nicely off Manchester Water Works however we needed to bush wack about 150 yards though blow downs before connecting with the maintained trails.

Amazing trail

This was a great trail. We are beginners and found it well worth the hike to see the falls. They were completely frozen where we were standing on the falls. next time we need to complete the loop. Weather was getting a bit gloomy this day.

Rocky trail with several scenic overlooks. Viewing platform at the top. Recommend good footwear. Avoid when rocks are wet especially links like the Bicentennial trail. Treasure this place so close to home.

Falls are nice.

I went on a rather cold day a few weeks ago and broke trail. I would not consider this trail hard. I did the loop, coming from Arethusa Falls. It’s rather moderate, considering other trails in the area. It was hard only because we had to break trail, almost the entire loop. Although now there is probably mostly ice left..

Nice little hike and amazing reward when reaching the summit. Wear spikes and this is an easier climb in the ice than it is in summer when wet and slippery .

Leisurely walk. Beautiful gardens and statues. Peaceful resting spots for birdwatchers or to sit and write.

Beautiful trail, was very icy, but worth the effort with little kids.

I hiked this route yesterday morning starting at 7:30 am. The sun rising, and not another soul in the woods. The snow gives the forest a whole new look. I loved the trail!. The minimal snow depth made micro spikes a serious challenge when on a slope, and they made rock contact. I had several close calls. I can't wait for Spring so I can bring my wife!

Easy hike, steep incline at points which made it fun but very short. Fun climbing in the snow and slipping on the ice!

Beautiful waterfalls!!! Stunning views from the Ridgeline!!!

Attempted July 2017. We didn’t make it to the top- got caught in a rain storm and the trail was quickly deteriorating, so we decided to turn back. Awesome views, crossing the river was a bit hard, both me and my friend got a bit damp from it.

Loved this hike, challenging but worth it.

Great place for light hiking and casual walks
Good views over meadows

Please note that this is open to cross country skiing ONLY. No hikers.

This was my first time doing a winter hike and the challenges were outstanding. Once we got up to the summit, the views were magnificent. And then the walk down was beautiful. Thank you Jeanne Blauner and Rick.

Amazing place for hiking

Description for this trail is accurate. Various areas of large rock scrambles bolder hopping. A few good views. Overall good hike.

We loved this, start at the location they recommend. Interesting river with an old mill, beaver lodges within feet of a river, two really pretty lakes, heap an ice cream at the barn in summer. Lots of trails to explore. A real gem

easy but cool

Nice surprise. A moderate 1.25 mile hike up to the summit where there was a rocky outlook with a 300 degree view including the north side of Mt. Wachusett.

Hiked a variation of the Reservation Loop Trail from suggestion by Katharine Lange. Park at Visitors Center and follow Donbrowo Trail to ski area. Donbrowo not shown on my AllTrails app. Pass lodge and pick up Balance Rock Trail to Old Indian Trail. Balance Rock is an interesting large erratic. Avoid crossing active ski area by bearing right onto Semuhenna to West Side then back to Old Indian. Check out vista to SW not marked on map before final climb to summit. Down Harrington passed Vista well marked to Link to Jack Frost (very nice walk through large evergreens) to High Meadow (another vista) and back to Visitors center via Bicentennial. High Meadow to Bicentennial link not shown on AT app. About 5 mile loop in about 3 hours. Certainly would do this loop again. 40 degrees and 20 MPH winds made it chilly on top.
