Great trail to take the pup out on! Keep an eye out for the moose about 1/2 way up. He loves to hang out in the thicket by the pines.

Lovely hike. So beautiful the entire way to the Falls, and the Falls themselves are awesome.

Great trail wouldn’t recommend taking dogs on This trail it get really narrow and especially hard when people are trying to pass up and down the trail. Very pretty and shady. Inclined become more aggressive near the end. Good for older kids. Plan on hiking out with little ones on shoulders or packs

Love Sundance and Stewart Falls.

Great trail for the dog. Family (including 6 year old) enjoyed it too, but it was slightly difficult to navigate all the rocks while carrying my 8 month old in the baby carrier. Also, as others have mentioned, the trail down is very poorly marked so we got lost for a few minutes. Overall we enjoyed it and felt like it was good exercise for a family outing.

Beautiful scenery, but a rocky and wash-y trail.

i went sunday. the alternate route is from sheeps creek road. about 10-15 miles past diamond fork. once you make the left on sheeps creek road, another 11 miles of windy road. trailhead is on the left. you can see my recording to get an idea of where you start. hope this helps

Great hike! Just hard enough so my dog could get a good workout along with me! The views are amazing :) beautiful with the fall leaves and not incredibly busy.

Easy walk to view the falls.

Very pretty during the fall with some great views. The trail gets a little rocky and loose but overall it was fun and short.

This was a fun, short hike. We walked from Nunns Park up to the trailhead and then hiked to the falls. very beautiful waterfall and a close hike to get away from the city life! To get up close to the falls there is a bit of a scramble but the rest of the hike is fine. Steep, but short and doable for all.

Save yourself from crowds of people and all the things that come with that and do this hike during the week and early in the day to refresh your spirit in the outdoors. This is a fun hike to a great falls.

One of my new favorites!! Fun fun fun. . With great views and smells from the fresh air infused with the creek and the fall colors! Get your blood pumping .

We went to perfect timing with fall leaves and weather. At the top (waterfall) , it can get cold so we were glad we had a good jacket (next time I will bring gloves for my kids hand). Good thing we had a friend who knew exactly where to find the location, it can get little tricky off HWY 89. We started to hike around 3:30pm and were able to catch the sunset by 7pm. It is dog friendly but little kids may need help to go all the way. Even if you don’t go all the way, it is fun to bring family there. I was told every season this hike is different. Probably not in mid summer where it can get really hot (unless hiking in the early morning). Can’t wait to return back again.

Took my nieces and nephews (ages 8, 9, 12, &13) on this family-friendly hike. The trail gently rolls up and down until the final descent to the falls. It took us 2 hours roundtrip going at a very leisurely pace and with about 20 minutes down at the falls. This trail is not strenuous at all and is very beautiful, especially in the fall.

Called the ranger station and diamond fork was still closed, she didn’t know when they would reopen it. So I went and used the alternate trail. Very steep and strenuous compared to the normal trail, but still did it in about an hour each way. Had the whole place to myself, but water levels are low in all the pools, and the river was nice and muddy today. I posted pictures too in case anybody wants to see.

The road was closed as of a couple days ago due to fire related things. If you must know, call the Spanish fork ranger station and inquire if the diamond fork road is open again yet or not.

So the ‘trail’ is closed? Or the gate for the road is closed? I’ve hiked to it when the gate was closed.

Those anyone know if the trail is open now?

I really loved this hike! You have a b
view almost every step of the way. I clocked in at 4.6 miles total though, but worth it. We saw 5 deer and a bull moose right off the trail. My 4 and 6 year olds were able to do this with slight help. The dirt road leading up to this is pretty bumpy though, that was the worst part.

Best hike ever!

Trail is still closed as of Oct. 1st due to the fires. I'm not sure how to find updates. The fire wasn't listed on the map.

This is a fairly quick hike that is easily enjoyable. Nothing too strenuous, and it provides beautiful views. The falls are a bit low in autumn, but still fun to hike to. It's a bit busier than a lot of other trails in the canyon though.

Gorgeous trail. We were in a race against the fading daylight so I would rate this hard vs moderate merely for the speed we were going. If you have Verizon, you will NOT get service for your map so make sure you download the map before you get to the parking lot. We hiked the last 0.5 mile in the dark. The views were absolutely stunning and as we only had time for a quick (under 2 hours) hike, this one was perfect. Huge scenery payout for the time invested.

Nice hike, a little tricky without good shoes due to loose shale.

This was an amazing hike. My 4 & 6 year old even hiked straight up the waterfall to the pool where the main fall lands. Incredible views, very fun, and did this while holding my 2 year old in an ergo. *I wouldn't recommend everyone attempt that, but I feel pretty confident in my hiking abilities.

My brother-in-law did the same with his and there 3 & 5 year old did great too.

Easy walk to beautiful hot springs. Not crowded when we went early in the morning. The trail is mostly flat and very well maintained. The hot springs are just as colorful as they look in the pictures. Many are too hot to swim in so be careful. Definitely going back.
