Beautiful
It wasn’t anywhere near 1000 but still worth it!
Not really 1000 steps but a nice walk down and up stairs leading you to the beach. It gets slippery below and depending on tide level some steps may be submerged.
Simple walk (not hike) in a neighborhood beach that’s like a thin strip along the coast. Locals were friendly and many had cute dogs, easy to find parking.
It was only 150 steps
Easy parking, beautiful beach. You can’t get this in LA
The steps are just your entryway to an unforgettable walk down Shoreline Beach. You can go right or left once you land on the beach after walk down the stairs. There are other people, but the beach is vast enough that you will have your own space for the entirety of the walk. I saw spearfishers, seals, a dead stingray washed up on the beach (amazing to see up close), beautiful cliffs, rocks, calming ocean waves, and an endless horizon.
First time with my daughter and friends. Great place to visit after hiking in Gaviota. Be careful of the muddy/sandy steps, can be slippery.
Pretty little area with only about 150 steps to a nice beach. Don’t go out of the way to do this one.
Simple stairs down to the water
Awesome little beach with beautiful views! Spent a couple of hours there with my 6 year old and we loved it.
Easy. great place for the beach and personal space.
Like 175 steps but it’s seems like 1000 walking back up them lol
Nice walk down steps to the beach, with a long sandy beach you can walk either way down.
This isn't really a trail but actually access stairs to the beach. They were wet and slimy with water leaking onto the steps from the cracks in concrete on the side walls. The view is pretty and the beach is great. On a this Sunday afternoon, we had the area to ourselves.
Stairs to a nice beach walk. Stairs wet and slippery. Nothing spectacular, but convenient access to an uncrowded area of the beach.
Stairs to the beach, check the tide. Inaccessible at certain high tides. The City was talking about repairing it, the bottom definitely needs an upgrade.
Really enjoy this beach! The stairs are super slipperly about half way down. It's pretty uncrowded. I've never had any issues with finding a parking spot.
Went for an evening stroll and loved every second of it! Beautiful sunset and peaceful, not too many people.
Beautiful scenery
Interesting
Not really a trail, just a steep staircase that leads down to the Mesa beach. But the views are really nice!
