Walk/Run Paths Map

Nice and mostly shaded trail around the lake. Not too crowded on weekdays.

It’s just too cool to wander this place.

Excellent easy and very accessible park. God’s for family with all ages.

Had to park at a construction site to access the Greenway. Better access from North Cary Park. Paved walk with some ups and downs through woods between businesses and Weston neighborhoods. Also has an access trail maybe with some parking about a half mile in.

Energetic and peaceful

Good trail but very busy. It's nice and wide but wheelchairs may have difficulty with the second half as it's very steep. Elevation increase may only be 242ft but it does it up and down two or three times.

Nice walk, only did the Centennial Greenway portion. Well marked, however it is best to park at the farmers market and access it from there.

Nice trail, looks family and dog friendly. Did not do the Pirates Cove section, instead went over US1 to the end of Hinshaw.

Nice walk. Combined with Macedonia Lake Loop.

This trail feels more like a walk in the park than a hike. This trail does have a lot more natural terrain than the other loop. There are some nice views of the little lake. Not much incline or challenging areas, but a great place to escape for a little bit that's close to Downtown Raleigh.

Pretty trail. Relatively flat with a couple of tiny hills but very bumpy. Pretty crowded in the parking lot but the trail was fine.

Good for locals, but wouldn't drive back here. no parking except at strip mall at walnut end. recommend adding the pond .

nice 2 mile loop, woods right in town. but keep eyes open, lots of roots on dirt trail. I added 3/4 of Pawpaw trail to get my 45 minute walk in.

Did it combined with Symphony Lake Greenway. Nice walk with the creek and lake throughout.

Nice walk, great scenery around even saw a few deer grazing.

Good walking trail mostly paved, lots of interesting things to see.

This a place that has expanded significantly in the last decade. While it is an easy paved walk predominantly, it is the most interesting & charming city trail in Raleigh.

Convenient walking/exercise for quick access, but usually busy, sidewalk sidewalk experience in the woods.

More isolated hiking than very busy Lake Johnson or Umstead. A few intense grades, but pretty level hiking with less of the eroded roots & rocks of Johnson & Umstead.

Its a good walk but not the nicest of views

paved greenways connected by 2 residential sts. mostly wooded, but nothing special. playground off Hinshaw greenway. I didn't go over, but there is an overpass over hwy 64.

easy, almost 2 mile loop trail. soft wood mulch, one small incline. similar to lake pine and bond lake trails, but a little more wooded. yes, facilities. benches thru out trail, mileage markers, even small nature center w/snakes & turtles.

Super easy. Paved as well as natural trails with gorgeous views. Typically pretty busy, though, regardless of the time of day.

Super easy 3 mile loop. Love taking my pup out here for a great morning of exercise!

This trail is perfect for walking, running, bike riding, and dog walking. The only parts I don't like are where the greenway meets a road and there's so much broken glass and trash. Otherwise, it's beautiful.

This park is amazing. I absolutely loved this park and the trails.

Great hike with my wife last weekend. Easy and well marked. We really enjoyed it.

We got there and no one was around to help. turns out you have to call ahead if you want to ride horses there. And it's $10 per horse. So if you want a spur of the moment ride, this isn't the place.

This is a nice scenic walk. Perfect if you want to get in a quick walk or run. Great for dogs and strollers. The last sculptures are fun to look at but am surprised that the grounds aren't better maintained. Maybe that's do to the time of year?

Would be ideal for post brunch or after dinner date walk.
