Great hike! It was steep and not gonna lie it kind of kicked my ass. Haha. Be prepared to rock climb.

Amazing view, amazing view, and an amazing view.... the trip is sooo worth it.

An incredible trail that is well worth the hike. I was a bit out of shape so it was a little harder than I expected. We got up early so we could beat everyone onto the trail which is a great general rule if you want to keep at your own pace.

The views are incredible. One of my absolute favorite hikes.

I hiked this April 2 and it was beautiful and I would definitely recommend this, it's a little hard going up but the view is worth it.

It was definitely difficult for us but so worth it!

Loved this hike! A great workout and a great challenge with an incline the whole way up, the rope portion after the maintained trail ends was also a unique challenge. The views of crescent lake the the mountains was well worth it!

great challenging hike. be in shape bc this feels like a straight incline for a majority of the hike. views are so worth it!

Did this in 2015 with a few friends. Note that coming down to the lower side, having ascended Aasgard Pass, requires some boulder clambering skills, though no extra equipment above a pair of shoes with good grip is required. Outstanding views along the way. Really is a must hike for any fit person in Washington.

Wonderful climb but you need to be in shape to keep a low heart rate! Ropes are a little ways after the sign that marks "end of maintained trail." To challenge those you are required to be in extreme physical shape for maximum results.

Amazing hike. It started snowing a little bit but not too bad. Incline almost the entire way, and kind of sketchy towards the top with the ropes. Once you see that view it is totally worth it!

Really awesome views. We had to turn back about .3 miles short of the top because of some snow that we hadn’t anticipated. But if you go this time of year and you have shoes with good grip, you’ll be fine! Lots of inclines!

this is an amazing hike to be able to see different bodies of water it definitely is a really hard hike and the end is really scary and very excited that I was able to do such a hike

Scariest thing I’ve ever done. Totally worth it though.

A convenient trail connecting the Reflection Lake (and the start of the Pinnacle Saddle trail) with the Narada Falls. Not much of a hike in itself, more of a walk through a pleasant forest with a river but definitely preferable to driving between the two points. That said, there isn't that much between the Falls and the Lake, so don't expect any spectacular views along the way. Both the Falls and the Lake are definitely worth a visit though!

Hiked it in July 2017. Beautiful views. Beautiful hike. The last mile is basically straight up. Pack a lunch and enjoy it. Took the kids with us (almost 4 and almost 2 at the time) one in a hiking pack and the other on foot. Older one hiked all but the last mile up to the look out. Would do it again. Wish clouds hadn’t covered Rainier once we reached the top. But still stunning non the less.

Didn’t make it to the trailhead! Road conditions not suitable!!! Too much snow, better luck next time

Hiked this morning in an attempt to see the sunrise from the top. Unfortunately, everything was obscured by fog, which I knew would be a possibility. Pretty tough hike up (I'm in good shape, but not great hiking shape, if that helps), but I had a bunch of photog gear strapped to my back which didn't help. Frequent hikers traveling lightly should have no issue.

Not much snow to speak of, but I brought my spikes anyway and would advise everyone else to do the same as a point of caution as it's pretty steep and narrow in some spots. Due to the time of the year, you will not pass a lot of people on the way up if you choose an off-peak hour of the day to make your ascent.

What a great trail, started at Sunrise trailhead, cool gray fox in the trail?, the weather change on the way up skyscraper it started with light hail at first then on to snow. By the time we got to the first camp we were in a blizzard so we set up camp for the night to dry out. Next morning the weather did not improve so we hiked back to sunrise , will return in the summer for this one. got lots a great pics.

One of the most beautiful hike.

The enchantments basin is incredible and worth the trip. One of the best hikes in Washington

There are mountain goats in the region that will follow you.

We went slow and took breaks as needed - it wasn’t as difficult as I expected! The beauty is incredible, both at the top and on the way up. Definitely recommend!

This place is absolutely beautiful, the hike up is great. I ventured out on the trail at 4 am to get to the lake by first light. this was more than enough time. Hiking times personally were 2 hrs and 45 minutes up and 2 hrs down. Highly recommend this one!

I loved and hated this hike! It’s difficult, but the view is 100% worth it!

One of the best views I have had in Washington. Love the enchantments.

Amazing hike. The Alpine Lake is something to see. I would say this hike is difficult but worth it

We went last September and still talk about this hike!! We took it slow and had lunch at the lake. The weather started to turn on the way back down, so we were glad we had layers.

Perfect fall day, still some larches hanging on, no micro spikes needed.
