easy walk and nice place to stretch your legs and get a great view of the Columbia

My sister and I were filled with delight and intrigue as we read the Native American lore on the sign at the entrance and then explored this quick little DESERTED path around and up to the sister rocks. We went at twilight in December. It was amazing. Beautiful backdrops, very fun smaller rocks to climb on, and an eerie fog and thick breezes overlaying the landscape (which felt like the whispers of the Cayuse sisters watching us play)

Hiked in May, loads of wildflowers and beautiful views.

Great trail in a beautiful area. Enjoyed the Panjab creek. First time hiking in the Blue Mountains. We're going to have to come back.

Beautiful views of the gorge! Great food in Hood River after!

I did this Hike today, very beautiful hike. The trail head is easy to get to. The trail head and trail are well maintained. You get a perfect view of Mt. Hood when you reach the summit.

very easy. good reason to get out and stretch your legs. I went to the top,and over to the next Vista point. took 20 minutes. great views.

Nice short trail, perfect for snakes though I never saw any.

Pretty hike. You will loop around, and up through grassy hills and then to coyote wall. Would be pretty in the spring with all the wildflowers.

A little trouble finding the trail... but once we arrived at the trail head it was a great hike with minimal initial climb to the ridge line. The views from the ridge line allow line of sight to the willowas. This is more of an out and back hike than a loop. The half way point will be a fire lookout, very friendly staff.

Highly recommend this hike.

Not sure why this is rated as Hard. Granted we only did the first 5 miles but the trail is groomed and well marked, the hills are few and short, and it is a pretty nice walk. Its a bad bee season and they were especially bad at the water, but didn't really bother.

Beautiful view, but hot! I would call it difficult, rather than moderate. It is straight up hill, with no shade, and the gravelly path made it easy to slip. We never found the waterfall.

Loved the trail, and was okay with the overgrowth for the most part - not a good trail for anyone who wants a flat/easy walk. Saw two snakes and left with two ticks. The road up damaged the undercarriage of my Nissan Altima- the scraping popped things loose. Expect an unmaintained trail next to a pretty river.

Gorgeous views of the gorge and Mt. Hood. Not too strenuous a hike at all. Wear sunscreen and probably some sort of tick spray!

We started from Target Meadows and made it almost to the bridge. It was a alright on the way down but very hard on the way back up. Beautiful scenery! Definitely worth the work.

One of my favorite trails. It’s a beautiful canyon trail along the river.

This was an absolutely beautiful short hike. We saw a few lizards and the view of the Columbia River made it even better!! It’s a short stop off the highway if you are looking to get out of the car. We would go again!

Gorgeous sights and epic heights. Honestly, one of my favorites.

Great trail for dogs. Some elevation gain but not to bad. Decent shade on much of trail.

this spot is super cool!! worth the extra drive out here in such a rural area. its absolutely beautiful out here and the trailhead is gorgeous. I love the running river near by the whole time. it was mine and my fiance's first time here and we will be back. we took our two fluffy Maltese pups and one of them got burs stuck on his face and legs. they are adventure dogs and loved it but with all the cheatgrass and burs it was hard going any further for them and had to unfortunately turn around, but we will definitely be going back to finish it or at least get half way through just us two.

Hot hike, flowers are great and geology is amazing out here.

First time hiking in this area of Washington. The views were good and the trail was well marked. The person working at the lookout was friendly and took the time to show my kids, ages 7 and 9, around the lookout cabin.

Super easy and quick stop off the road! If there were multiple people there parking would get kind of crazy because it’s just a little gravel area off the side of the road. Views were beautiful and the rocks are awesome to explore once you get up there!

beautiful hike along the river. keeps the temperature a little cooler

awesome hike. Look out for the swarms of bees that you have to walk thru on the trial. Other than that it was amazing

Did this trail yearly as a kid, love it. Lookout staffed in the summer and they are always friendly. Great views!
