Loved the views.

It was my first time in this trail-quite impressive! I wish they can make it more safe at the top to transition to the plateau of the rock.

this was my favorite hike all year. the top reminded me of the Himalayas a little bit.

It was a rainy day and there were less than 10 people we encountered during the hike, but it was very special.

It was very windy near the chin and the rain drops hit hard on the faces, but what an experience!

My gps clocked it at 2 miles each way. Good little hike, lots of off leash dogs. Took about 2 hours with my pup.

Beautiful and quick hike. About two hours, round trip

Enjoyed the hike even though we had 20 yards of visibility and the wind was blowing 30-40 mph. Being that this was my first time up Camel's Hump I will have to return to experience the gorgeous views. Parking lot off of camel's hump Rd was packed but trail wasn't overly crowded

The last .75 is hard, but it's well worth it!! The trail is well maintained and they've put in some ladders since the last time I hiked it. The top has some seriously pretty views of Camels Hump, Mansfield, and Bolton. There are three or four places which give you very pretty views. The last 200 ft probably should have ropes, but we made it up no problem.

beautiful trail. easy 5 min walk to the falls with 6 years old. you have to hike a bit further to see the beautiful view it's worth it!

Really easy, and relaxing hike.

Quick Intensive hike,

We took gondolas and then hiked the rest of the trail to the Chin. This part of the trail is challenging and very rocky, but really fun as well! Not too long, 0.6 miles or so. But be careful when descending, rocks are veeery slippery! Unfortunately we did not have a good view on the top as the summit was covered with clouds, but it was still a very nice walk with beautiful nature and plants around, it was a little crowded though because it was Labor Day weekend. Have fun and be careful! Remember to have proper hiking boots, it’s very important on this trail. Also remember that the last gondola from the top leaves at 4pm, so plan accordingly, otherwise you’ll have to go down on foot.

Great 2-3 hr hike depending on your ability. A few areas of steep climbing but worth the gorgeous view at the top of the valley. Start early to avoid the crowd and bring a snack or lunch for a break at the top.

Nice in-town trail but very busy - even on a weekday.

Harder than expected, but that could have been because I was pregnant! More rugged than the Monroe trail.

Took Burrows to the Long Trail to the summit. Had a 3 y/o & a 16 m/o in backpacks plus a dog...was tough, but very do-able. Views at the top are amazing 360° & worth any pains of climbing up/traversing down.

This is the perfect hike if you only have 2-3 hours but still want a good workout and great view. The incline is pretty steady throughout; you don’t get too many breaks, and the last half mile is rocky (but we love that). Took some nice panoramic shots at the top. Highly recommend.

The last .75 make you work. Great hike. Great views. light traffic.

This trail does require a bit of patience (it took about 2.5 hours to reach the peak in the wintertime. It was, however, well worth it: you are afforded a great view of the valley (you can see the chin, Mt. Mansfield, in the distance).

Breathtaking panoramic views all the way up the Toll Road! We were lucky & caught a beautiful, clear, light wind day. Be sure to wear luggy hiking boots or shoes & plenty of water. Sunscreen is a good idea on a sunny day (fully exposed). Some rocky challenges but my 12 & 9 year old daughters did great (after several water breaks). A couple more technical sections towards the summit but manageable if taken slow & well worth the climb. We’ll be sure to make a return trip next summer!

We did this today with our 3.5 years old (he did the way up himself , we carried him in the backpack on the way back but only because he was tired). I would qualify this as an easy trail - if you have the right shoes (I did it in sneakers and it was doable but it would have been so much easier in my hiking shoes). The views are amazing throughout the trail , we loved it. It is windy and pretty cold up there (it’s Aug 20th and we wore 3 layers) and sunscreen is a must if it’s sunny. A must do in Vermont, in my opinion.

Great trail with beautiful views at the top of Burnt Rock Mountain. A few technical areas towards top, but our 2 Golden Doodle pups were able to get up and down with us easily.

Nice hike with some hills and rocks at top. Beautiful views!

Nice trail with some challenging uphill climbs. Heavily trafficked so get there early to avoid large crowds at the summit.

Nice trail with beautiful views at the top. It was crowded though. The summit area is not very large and there were so many people up there that it was difficult to find space to sit and enjoy the view.

Beautiful! A little bit shorter than I had hoped. Great view from below and above!

Great trail with amazing views at the top. Kinda steep at points but doable if you’re in moderately health and shape. Plenty of kids and elderly were doing it
