beautiful day for a hike. Definitely need yak tracks. the view at the top was spectacular today!!

Awesone view :)

I went Monday 11-5 Lots of ice. Then when I got to the white rock trail it was a ton of snow Many of the markings are on the rocks So I could not see them but it seemed pretty obvious as to where you need to go. Very windy at the top but a fantastic view. ONE MAN GATHERS WHAT ANOTHER MAN SPILLS.

Absolutely beautiful hike, it can get intense at some points closer to the pinnacle but it’s worth every bit. Best time to go is the first week of October.

Loved this trail! Views from the top (and middle) are beautiful and worth the semi-challenging trail. Additional fun: Two local golden retrievers with bells and tags met us at the bottom and took us all the way to the top, no owners. We learned from some locals on the trail that these amazing pups have been on that trail for years and are sweet and brave, which we found out!

Follow long trail south to the gulch, and for that matter, the gulch lies beyond the graphic trail shown here. We did an out and back on the Long Trail because we could not find the loop (Babcock) shown on the eastern side. Nice trail, impressive Gulch.

I think this would be great in dry weather. I hiked it today in the rain and would not recommend it as long as the wet leaves are covering the trails and wet rocks. I had to be very careful not to slip. It was also foggy and so the views were not visible. I hope to come back with snowshoes this winter.

Beautiful sites at the top. Definitely a challenging incline. Could be done in a few hours. Overall very fun.

I took the south trail and its a great and free hicking zone! Moderate is a valid rating for this hike. The view is fanrastic! Can be done in less than 2 hours total easily :)

Went today. Total mixed bag. At the bottom muddy. Then snow. Then came some ice and icicles which could be deadly. Not the largest I have seen there. But enough to mess you up. Total up and sown 2 hours 10 minutes. I used my yaxtrax at very top ONE MAN GATHERS WHAT ANOTHER MAN SPILLS.

Absolutely beautiful views. The trail did get challenging about halfway up as we reached the pine forest area. It was rather slippery with ice and snow in the 34 degree weather, and the wind was very strong on the summit. Would do it again in a heartbeat though, wish it wasn’t so cold and could have enjoyed the view a little longer.

Easy, short walk with beautiful falls at the end.

Excellent hike and view!!

Très belle randonnée! Des points de vue magnifiques et spectaculaires. À faire en famille!

Took the North trail up and back...Views at the outlooks were amazing. Steep in spots but overall it was mild-moderate in difficulty. Took about 3 hours

Arrived at 9:30 went up counterclockwise like the sign recommends. Very good views. Was wet so rick was slippery. Summit had some snow and ice. Met the masses at the top. Dogs, kids, and lots of people. Went down burgess trail. Muddy with scores of people coming up. Very pretty but try to do mid week or get there early. We were amazed at how many people were parked along road. Total time -3 hours 15 minutes.

The view on the top was spectacular once the flurries of snow drifted away and the clouds cleared. As for difficulty, I would say this is on the harder side of moderate even though I began at the Stowe Pinnacle Meadow parking lot. Yes, the view is definitely worth the hike up.

Fun hike. Pretty steep in some spots. Great views on top. I continued East on the trail towards Middlesex and circled around to White Rock. This adds a couple miles on to the hike and you basically go down the East side and then back up. Well worth it in my opinion. Views to the East were spectacular. The climb back up to White Rock was challenging and fun. After reaching the top of White Rock you back track a bit and then take the trail heading back North to the Mount Hunger trail. Be prepared for water and mud. Have fun

This is the second time here. the first time we went all the way to the top but this time just to the falls and got a fabulous picture.

Good hike with some nice fall views. It was more of a moderate difficulty, but there are some steeper spots and locations where you need to be cognizant of your foot placement.

Nice hike! Beautiful views at the top! I'm sore!

Very rewarding hike! Challenging going up but not too bad going down. The view at the top is worth it (even with the fog!) Took us 3 hours 45 minutes total. The waterfall is about 1/4 of the way into the hike. The top of the mountain is very spacious- tons of room to spread out and eat/rest.

Easy and great for kids!

Been doing this trail my whole life, is a must-hike for anyone within reasonable distance. Best views in the state. Challenging enough but did it with my 18lb terrier this year not to mention a whole elementary was going up as I was going down. So don’t be intimidated by the “hard” rating

Constant elevation gain. Very challenging. Will get your heart rate up for sure. Great reward at the top. Extremely crowded on leaf peeping weekend. Tons of dogs on this trail. We encountered nearly 100 of them mostly without leashes.

Nice hike, I would say moderate rather than hard. Certainly some step spots, but not steep the entire hike. Some great views at the top, but could use a little trimming along some of the vistas. A little confusing with the trail signs at the top, and I ended up coming down the same way I went up, but next time I'll know.

Slow ascent to begin, then gets very steep! Very rocky at the top, including some light “rock climbing”. We took our 3 dogs up to the summit; however, it may be somewhat difficult for some dogs. There is a beautiful waterfall about halfway up that the pups can swim in and you have to cross to get to the other side. The view at the top was incredible! Very fun hike!

Decided to catch a sunrise this AM up on camels hump. Took burrows trail up and this was definitely a heart pumper, consistent climbing until the clearing before heading up on the long trail to the summit. Took a bout 1:20 up in the dark! I had to stop short from climbing all the way up to summit because of 40-50mph wind, but the sunrise was absolutely gorgeous with great 360 view.
