Nice walk in the fall

Easy, short walk with beautiful falls at the end.

Really nice!!

Great place to run and take a quick dip in the pond. There’s a rope swing on the north peninsula and a pretty easy cut off trail to find it.

Most of the Faulkner trail was closed (through mid-November). Detour took us on the Lowe Link trail. The detour was steeper than Faulkner but we enjoyed that even more. Beautiful views!

This is the second time here. the first time we went all the way to the top but this time just to the falls and got a fabulous picture.

Easy and great for kids!

more easy than moderate trail. All dirt roads that are smooth. Beginning of trail near Billings Farm is a bit steeper but a nice hike without a lot of people and plenty of side loops to make your hike longer

Very fun, lots of switchbacks making it fairly easy and interesting. Lovely views at the top. Perfect for a fall day!

It says 3 miles but it feels longer, parking is also quite problematic with the limited number of spaces and the rules about not parking on the road side. But the hike itself is beautiful.

Very pretty short hike. Beautiful views from the rocks/cliffs. The "advertised" length is a little deceiving because the walk from the parking lot to the trailhead is as long as the trail. I hope to do this one again.

Very easy walking trail. We read all the poems. Our first poem reading hike. My dog enjoyed it too. Only saw 2 other people on the trail.

Great local place to get away and get exercise. Small inclines, fields and the pond.

great walk. looking forward to exploring more up there

beautiful trail. easy 5 min walk to the falls with 6 years old. you have to hike a bit further to see the beautiful view it's worth it!

Even though it is rated Easy, there are some pretty step and long climbs. For our first outing may have been more than we should have tackled. Looking forward to doing it again when we’re better prepared. Last leg near edge of water isn’t much fun. High weeds and brush on a very narrow path.

Really easy, and relaxing hike.

Nice hike with our dog on 9/1/18. Probably best to take the precipice trail up (it mug stepper and more rugged) and the mountain trail road down. Great views from the top. This trail is less traveled than the Faulkner trail, making it more enjoyable. Plus, Pogue pond was really an added treat.

Great little trail can be done in less than 20 minutes but the property is abs gorg and there’s horses!

Really enjoyed this area. Had a little of everything. Some nice inclines to get a workout but not too rigorous. Loved the different venues, from meadows to walking along the pond and through the canopy of trees. Definitely will go back! Well maintained and easy to navigate.

I haven’t been here for a decade or more, but just as nice as I remembered, well marked and well maintained, a moderate lift to check out the heart. Pleasant walk in the woods.

Beautiful! A little bit shorter than I had hoped. Great view from below and above!

The trail is well-groomed with many platforms to navigate wet areas. Most of the trail winds through wooded areas and the canopy provides a cool, shaded walk. We were hoping for more views of the pond, but still a scenic walk in the Vermont woods.

A pleasant trail with wild berries and a brook. For a more “moderate” experience, be sure to climb the hill to the upper trails (see my photos of the “Afternoon Delight” and “Sundown” trails up there).

Stopped here on the way back to NY to stretch out my legs..great little trail! Trails are well maintained and the rolling hills are beautiful...saw numerous butterflies.

So many wildflowers in the fields surrounding the pond! Many areas with planks that go over wet spots, a well-maintained trail. When we're back in the area we'll definitely do it again!

Really enjoyed this trail. Mostly really easy, great for families and dogs.

Nice waterfall . Easy to get to!

A nice nature walk with the added nicety of reading some of Frost's greatest poems in a pretty setting.
