This walk is tougher than you think as you simply walk along the riverbed the whole time so walking in sand. Only saw 1 natural bridge as did not go all the way as after 2 hours one way we were tired. Also the main arch has collapsed. Limited parking at trailhead only enough for 4/5 cars on side of road area.

Nice short trail takes around 30 mins, petroglyphs on the rock, which is cool. Toilets are trailhead. Fairly trafficked even in November.

The worst hike(walk) I’ve done so far.. walking on super soft sand pretty much the whole way.. great views but after a while it all looked the same and got boring.. got to the end and no natural bridge standing,, so was pointless to go there!! I would give a -5 starts if could!!

Really pretty short hike. I also climbed up the large rock close to the midpoint for some added interest and elevation gain. Very easy to do several of these short Valley of Fire hikes in a day.

Did the loop trail instead. Definitely recommend it over this super short one. Picturesque and fun.

Easy walk even in the sand. Went all the way to the end to the Fire Canyon overlook. Lots to see and enjoy!

I did the bowl of fire trail in its entirety and then some. It took 7.5 hours. The trail was filled with all that a sportsman can handle. Note: you have to be in great shape to do this trail. The trail starts moderately easy but then it gets challenging. Have gloves handy. There are hills, mountains; the open desert, valleys and amazing sandstone rock formations. What a view! Important: please note that the trail disappears once you go down to the valley. You will need your GPS on. Alert: turn on your GPS from home and leave it on. You will lose reception well before you get to your hike location and then you will not be able to navigate your way. Have a power bank for your phone. EXTRA EXTRA!!! I was nearly attacked by a big bird. Not fun. I came face to face with a coiled rattle snake which was about 4 feet and I was within 8 feet from it. It was about to attack but I ran a few feet to create distance and it also disappeared. They shake the end of their tails when you're close so you'll always know if they're around. Please don't let that scare you. Enjoy the trail. Have fun. Take water with you and above all, be safe.

another good one while visiting this park. all short hikes

By far the best views in all of Valley Of Fire. Hike up and enjoy the view! Enjoy a quiet picnic and don’t forget to leave nothing but footprints

Nice loop. The dry fall was beautiful. The spring had more flow then I would have expected this late in the year. Overall a nice chill hike.

$10 to get into this Nevada State Park. The scenic driving is great. Nice places to stop along the way and take photos.

Absolutely stunning views of the fossilized Aztec Sandstone dunes and volcanic rock formations higher above, but anyone allergic to bees should know that this trail is currently overrun with them. This is possibly due to the nearby picnic area.

Very easy to get to. Not that impressive in my opinion. Worth a stop if you have little ones maybe

Visited the park on the way to Zion National Park and can honestly say I am very glad we did. The Valley of Fire SP does not disappoint. We were able to get in a couple of short rewarding hikes. The rock formations are very unique and interesting. Highly recommended.

7AM! We had a blast entering in from the Lake Mead side of the highway and hit this site first! Nobody there yet and early enough not to be too hot. You can park right below this rock formation and take a quick hike up. The trail is marked with some fading white chalk and takes you directly up and behind for an awesome view! FYI: Signs say not to walk on the road.

not much hiking. You can almost drive up to the cabins. We hiked farther up and it was pretty. Some scrambling was necessary to go farther back.

there wasn't much to see.

beautiful scenery. We saw 2 antelope in the road that refused to move and later We spotted a big horn sheep right off the road. We checked out several trails that day. Great for kids. Don't go midday summer, too hot.

Beautiful scenery just outside of Las Vegas. The park roads are in excellent condition and everything is well marked. There is a lot of variation in the rocks as you complete the loop. I would highly recommend for anyone!

A long trail is not necesarily the most scenic! This short trail (1.1 mile round trip) is chocked full of glowing red rocks, seasonal wild flowers, and rock formations (arches and windows). We finished this trail in about 1 hour at a moderate pace. Sometimes if you are new to these kinds of trails, it's not always easy to spot the arches and window that hide or get camouflaged in the multicolored rock mounds. Since we have been on several other trails throughout Utah, we have gotten used to spotting some. While this video shows one arch in the peaks of the rocky cliffs, there may have been more we missed due to our fast pace and still relatively freshmen approach to trail walking and spotting natural features.

Short and easy! The color change in the rocks is very noticeable and you can get a close look as well. Hiked to days ago and it was very hot!

Neat cabins built in 1935, with a nice covered picnic area to the side.

Absolutely stunning. It's a very short trail, but worth every moment. The first part has some trudging through soft sand, but the path towards Fire Canyon is mostly rock and easy going. Incredibly beautiful views of the canyon. The markers are easy enough to see, but you don't really need them, as it's fairly well traveled and you can see footsteps in the sand.

There's actually a looping trail here, but many people took the direct route to the elephant rock. I recommend the loop, as there is plenty of beautiful scenery to enjoy.
