Awesome hike through the hoodoos! We started with Queens Garden Loop and ended going up Wall Street (kindof by accident— missed Najvajo somehow). It was a tough climb out of there but so much fun! Incredible scenery!!

Fantastic dog friendly trail.

BUT - why do people let their dogs off leash and leave filled poop bags on the trail?

Fantastic trail, but the last half mile is pretty strenuous and terrifying. The views are worth it if you can persist. By far the most challenging but rewarding hike I’ve ever done. It’s longer than advertised here, more like 5 miles. The first 2 miles are a series of switchbacks that get very steep in places and never seem to end. These stop at Scout’s Landing, where many people turn around after taking in the views. The last half mile is mostly climbing. Proper footwear and plenty of water are essential, and do not bring small children or pets. We are 50 and in decent shape but not used to higher elevations, and it took us 4+ hours round trip, which included plenty of stops and a slow pace thanks to my fear of heights. So glad I did this. But it really is every bit as scary as advertised, so don’t take it lightly.

Pleasant, easy hike through some of the most beautiful scenery of Zion.

Did this trail last year in November! Start early as it gets crowded on the chains section! Very strenuous but the most amazing views! Don’t attempt this if you’re scared of heights!

I did this hike on Thursday, Nov 8. I started around 9 and it took a total of 3 hours. 9 seems like a great time to start as there weren’t that many people around while going up - definitely got crowded while I was coming back, I did a lot of waiting for lines of people to pass as I was descending.

The hike was very fun. Obviously you have to be smart on this trail but there was no point where I felt like I was in danger. Stay on the correct side of the chains and be sure of your footing.

Don’t make the final push to the summit if you’re having second thoughts. Scouts Lookout has a great view as well.

Don’t feed the chipmunks.

I did this hike in August because Angels Landing was closed. It’s a steady climb of switchbacks with spectacular views. Midway is a slot canyon with shade and a nice stop for photos before continuing to the summit. The temperature was reaching the 90s. Take 2-3 liters of water and snacks. I arrived at the summit at lunch and it was very crowded. I found a relaxing spot to enjoy the views over Angels Landing and watch the tourists taking pics and face timing friends. Round trip was aprox 4 hours. Fantastic hike!

I would def consider this a walk instead of a hike. It’s such a lovely walk though! So peaceful to do in the evenings or mornings. It was a great cool down after a day of hiking other trails. Saw lots of deer and the views are great!

Did this trail the other day. Started the trail at noon and finished right before 3pm. I wasn’t sure what to expect from a crowd perspective, but there seemed to be more people leaving then going up. This is a tough trail that kicked my butt! I did the observation trail in the AM and this one right after, so I was a little more exhausted for this trail than I would have liked to be. Def worth doing at least once!

very nice trail. only saw 1 other family.

Great hike!! Did this hike a couple days ago and the weather was perfect! Started right before 8 am and finished right under 4 hours. Spent about 20 min at the top. Was only 2 other people up there. Amazing views! Glad we did the hike when we did before it warmed up. The second set of switchbacks was tougher than the first. As soon as we finished this hike we went and did Angels Landing. I thought this hike was better and is def my favorite in the park!

Gorgeous! The Wall Street portion was still open when we visited last week and it was one of our favorite parts of the hike.

Go early like I did to avoid major crowds. First shuttle is at 7 a.m. If you consider yourself a hiker you should do this at least once. Not as scary as I was told it's easy to feel safe and stable in my opinion during the part with exposed cliffs and chains to hold on to. Gorgeous views most of the way and the colors were turning with the best view of the hike at the summit. Hope I can go back and do this again sooner then later

Awesome hiking take good hiking shoes and water.

Great hike, well maintained. Bring plenty of water as this is strenuous. I am scared of heights, but the trail is sturdy so I did not have any difficulties with the drop offs at points. Bring a pair of hiking poles!!!!

I really loved this hike. Slot canyons for days. We turned around shortly after Wall Street. Pro Tip: travel is really slow, our pace was just over 1 mile/hour. Normally we move over 3 /hour.

Amazing hike. Bring lots of water. Views going up and at the summit are spectacular. Strenuous with the switchbacks but absolutely worth it!!!!

I used to look forward to gambling and drinking when I go to Vegas. Now, I look forward to a day trip to Zion to hike Angels Landing and the many other available trails. The views and experience will take your breath away. Not for out-of-shape folks or those who are fearful of heights.

Another incredible hike in Zion. The hike has significant elevation gain virtually all the way to the viewpoint. There’s no shortage of awe inspiring views the entire trip. My only tip, is from the view point, follow the cliff line clock wise for a bit. The views are just as impressive looking down the canyon at the Temple of Sinawava but there’s no one there.

Hiked this yesterday starting at around 3:30pm. Took us about an hour to get to the base before the chains, going pretty fast bc we wanted to reach the top for sunset. This first part is a cemented path. The second part is all rocks with chains to the peak. Chains were really fun going up if you love the adrenaline rush. One of the best hikes I’ve done in a while. And especially beautiful when the sunset makes the entire mountain glow pink. Make sure to bring headlamps!

An amazing hike. The incline is intense and the switchbacks are gnarly, but it’s all worth it for the amazing view.

Our first hike in Zion didn’t disappoint. Incredible views from the top. I can appreciate the descriptions of how exposed it is, but there are lots of chains to help guide you along.

Stellar. Only word to describe it. We did this hike a few days ago. Glad we did it then, it was busy but judging by the cars the weekend would have been jammed... My wife and 11 year old son stayed back after the first pitch of chains. My 14 year old daughters and I went on to the top. They did awesome and it was totally worth it!!

Hiking in the morning was amazing. The fall air was cool still and less people were on the trail first thing in the morning. Totally worth it!

Very fun hike to do with kids. Did this with my wife and 9 year old son and had a blast! Took most of the day but worth it. If you plan to bring kids, make sure you check out the water levels. You can also check in with a ranger before you go to see what the likelihood for flooding is. One thing I read people raving about was the canyoneering shoes you can rent outside the gate and how much they recommend them. We all rented for maybe 20/25 bucks a pair. My wife and son liked them, but my pair just kept the water in the boot all day and by the end they were really sore and pruny. Might invest in something waterproof that drains the water more efficiently.

Great trail! Amazing views! Can be pretty busy. Plan when you go taking in day and time of year into consideration. If you go on a Saturday in July you’re going to be face to butt all day.

This is the most amazing hike! It gets your heart pounding in more ways than one! The rush of the adrenaline from hanging onto chains while scaling sheer cliff faces and catwalking ridge lines is phenomenal . It is spectacular and 100% worth the effort to get up there. I would do this hike again in a heartbeat! Add it to your hiking bucket list and then go cross it off as soon as you can!
