1/10/19 quick and easy. slight presence of ice near the waterfall.

This is a get your picture and leave type of hike. Compared to Corona and Bowtie, it was meh. The arch itself is awesome. The hike up is nothing special. At the top, you’re met with a whole bunch of people with little hiking ettiequte. People perched under the arch making it impossible to get a photo and groups of people talking and yelling.

An all around better option is Corona and Bowtie. The drive there is AWESOME! The hike is so freaking fun and the arch is just as spectacular.

You have to see Delicate arch when you come to Utah, but definitely don’t do this as your only arch hike!

Wow! (In Owen Wilson’s voice)
This trail was EPIC! Incredible views and 100% worth it! It was considered moderate for us. It took about 1 hour and 15 minutes to hike up and 40 minutes to go back down. It was a little Icy but nothing too crazy. Elevation gain was a little difficult at times, but doable. Definitely a must do! Unbelievable views at the arch!

The trail was snow packed and beautiful! It was easily doable without spikes or snowshoes! The gate was closed 1.5 miles out from the trailhead, but was a beautiful hike! Prepare yourself to have a towel and dry clothes when you get out of the springs!

Short and easy yet stunning and beautiful. Delicate arch, probably the most famous of all the arches and understandably so.

It is “only” 1.5 miles each way, but there is a lot of elevation and uneven footing. Right now there is also snow and ice. So I would say it is moderate to difficult. BUT totally worth it. Amazing to see the Arch up close! This is a must-do in the park!

Beautiful evening to see the most iconic natural structure in Utah! It was a perfect hike with excellent views. The only downside is all the tourists who actually walk directly under the arch. Had to photoshop quite a few people out of my photos!

We did this hike today, it’s was absolutely beautiful, sunny day and blue skies above the inversion, the trail is well packed all the way to the top, you need only spikes and maybe poles, we carried butt sleds and it was so much fun on the way down

What an awesome hike! If you have a four wheel Drive you can access the parking lot just above the trail. Pretty easy hike for someone in shape
And trail savvy. Some tight spots in a couple of the slots but amazing. Beautiful day, great weather! Went in the fall. Highly recommend

I loved this hike, we where there first part of November. The deepest part of the Narrows was just above the knee. We had rented the water gear at Zion Adventures. The water temp was 42 degrees and we where not cold at all, feet were wet the whole time, kinda felt like you had jello in your shoes! We hiked about 5 hours up and back. I will definitely do this hike again!!! The scenery was spectacular.

Aweosme hike. Brought the entire family along-deer in the stream-waterfalls-scenic spots-everything is surreal here!

Beautiful in the winter. Went up on JAN 10, trail was well packed for most of the route but was a little spotty in the last quarter, no problems just using crampons and poles. All and all took about 4.5 hours.

The lower emerald pool was beautiful. Easy stroll and gorgeous even in the winter. The path to the middle and upper pools is closed indefinitely due to a rock slide.

2nd best hike in the Park...

Amazed how the arches were formed! Love it!

Great trail! I did it on jan. 6th so plenty of snow. The trail was packed so you dont really need snowshoes but it makes it pretty slippery if you dont have spikes/chains or poles although we managed without either. The snow is up past my knee off the side of the trail so slipping is not advised XD The lakes totally frozen and covered in snow but theres still a beautiful view of the valley

Did this hike a few days ago, the trail was compacted down for the most part. Wish I had microspikes or trekking poles, but it was still doable without. Definitely do this on a clear day if you can. It was cloudy when I did it, but still gorgeous. Took about 2 and a half hours to get to the top and a little over an hour to get back down.

Great hike today, snow was packed hard until the top. Spikes and poles helped a lot. Lake is frozen at the top - didn’t see any moose. 3.5 hours up and down

We used smaller snowshoes on the way up. They helped with grip a lot. We regretted not just using crampons though. The trail is packed down and we took the snowshoes off and pretty much ran back down. If you do it in the winter I’d make sure to do it on a clear day. Still beautiful views. Bring some trekking poles.

The best trail- you get to see the tower and the light come in at different points. We hiked in snow and it was worth it! 12.30.18

Great trail, long hike mostly on redrock. Very short portion through the sand. Recommend, definitely worth the view and picture at the end.

Did this hike in 103 degrees which SUCKED. But once you get to the top, the view is gorgeous. The hike isn’t too long, but it’s essentially straight up the entire way. Definitely wear good hiking shoes, as the rock is in a fish bowl formation at the arch, and can be slippery and if you fall... well... ya done lol. Definitely bring water, and LOTS of sunscreen if going during the summer, there are no trees on the way up.

I did this hike in late September. Weather was 90 degrees, but the water was 62 degrees, and cold. The Narrows path is a paved trail along the river that ends at the entrance into the Narrows canyon. I would strongly suggest renting the neoprene socks and hiking shoes in town, along with a hiking stick. Your hike will be much more enjoyable if your feet aren't freezing cold (we didn't and wished we did). Stick definitely helps with your balance. Don't underestimate things in hiking up this river. The Narrows hike up the canyon is an incredible hike and unlike anything I have ever done before. The scenery and environment is spectacular and a MUST do at Zion. The place is very crowded, which is a draw back. But is it still worth it.

Started this at 9:00 AM with the temp at 16 degrees. Had more people than I thought given the weather but was well worth the hike

Hiked up the narrows. Rented gear to keep our feet warm and bodies dry. Did the hike with 4 kids ages 9-13 and 2 adults. Everyone loved it. Despite it being December and snowing lightly for part of the trip, we were warm as long as we kept moving. Wall Street was amazing and also hiked the other way towards veiled falls. Quieter going this way and equally wonderful! Steady traffic in and out but you also had moments where it was just your group.

Lower trail was an easy, paved trail with manageable elevation change for most. The middle and upper sections become more difficult and required a little more effort. All trails were clearly marked although some portions were washed out and non-existent. We managed and were able to have a lot of fun even during the cold weather in late December.

Beautiful hike!! We did this hike on Christmas Eve and, at that point, the gate was closed adding an additional 1.5 miles to the trailhead. I would highly recommend yak tracks, spikes, snow shoes or something to help with traction. Most the of the hike is icy and I can’t really imagine doing it without them. The hike itself (with spikes) was relatively easy, only a small elevation gain. Pack a lunch, you burn enough calories that you’ll be hungry at the end. The hot springs are beautiful and so much fun! We wore out suits in under our clothes, brought flip flops, towel, and plastic bags to put our suits in on the way back. Highly recommend this hike!

The 4 stars is for the time we did this hike during the fall. The fall foliage throughout the hike is amazing and you really get the wow effect when you reach the top.
We redid the hike yesterday (December 29th), and everything is covered in a thick layer of snow. Which gives very beautiful views, but not like in the fall and you definitely don’t have the wow effect once you reach the lake.
We had crampons & snowshoes with us. We only needed the snowshoes once we were at the lake to be able to reach a nice pick nick place. The route going up was completely packed, so no snowshoes required, but I would definitely advise to use crampons! It’s not easy nor hard, but it’s a good workout!

Amazing park!
