Loved this loop. We started at the lookout parking lot, doing the West Rim first and walking counterclockwise. Make sure you do all the detours. Mostly flat. Follow the cairns on the West Trail, the East Rim is easily identified . DO NOT miss the Basin Overlook, which is right before you return to the parking lot....amazing!!!

Spectacular...one of my all-time favorites! Do not miss this hike.

Really easy, the most difficult thing was walking in the sand, but worth the ten minutes it takes to complete.

Really simple walk up but can do a bit of bouldering/climbing

Did this hike on April 23. Beauty day, hot and sunny. Easy in and out. Took an hour and a half round trip that’s including eating some snacks at the arch. Definitely worth it the scenery is amazing!!

kid friendly

One of the best!

Great well marked trail, totally worth the short climbs to get the amazing arches at the end.

Easy jaunt from the roadway parking near the Windows section of the park. Good concentration of arches that are highly accessible. The volume of people corresponded with the ease, so maybe hit this one late in the day before leaving the park to avoid crowds.

Trailhead begins further back on the road from the parking spaces. You’ll see it covered over with piles of logs on the side of the road. Trail is mostly exposed to sun until you get to the overhang with the kiva. There isn’t really scrambling involved, just a couple of steep spots that could be slick in the event of rain. The cairns are easy to follow and the view is worthy of a long sit. It seems like this is a popular place for sunset photographers (we saw at least 5 professional cameras set up), so be ready to share the space.

Easy hike. My favorite arch of all time!

Did this hike a year ago and it was amazing! Beautiful view! You can’t beat this beautiful area

Easy, fantastic views, neat biological soil communities along the way. Even after sunrise, Mesa Arch is breathtaking.

Fantastic hike and a great introduction to the Moab area. I always recommend this hike to folks who are unfamiliar with this area as it is extremely easy to find and is a well marked trail. The two arches at the end are just a bonus, the scenery is equally as stunning! Be wary that there is a small ladder and somewhat of a "climbing" scramble at one point, but nothing that should deter a typical hiker. Enjoy!

Did this with a 5-year-old, and he was THRILLED with the two short chained areas and the little ladder. The views are awesome and it was way less crowded than in the park. (We went around 8 AM on a Saturday.) Hike beyond the arch and around the bend for jaw-dropping views.

Beautiful and busy

Great views. Best to go early in the morning. Hardly anyone was there and the morning sun lights the arch like a ribbon of orange.

Great little hike around this geologic curiosity. The story presented on the sign was very interesting.

Great views, but overran with tourist.. still really neat though!

Did this back in February during the off-season. the weather ended up being pretty nice and since it was the offseason running into other people was a little more rare witch for us was great! This arch is one of my favorites the size of it will take your breath away! ❤️

fun place. lots to see

Awesome sight!

Some of the best views of my life!

Great place to go first for a lovely view with a short walk to the payoff. It is crowded, so if you go there first, other places look serene in comparison.
