Beautiful hike. Hardly saw anyone else on trail. A bit confusing when you get closer to the waterfall but we were able to find a nice shady spot near the water.

very peaceful hike. We backpacked our gear in for camping at the lake. too us 2 hours and 50 minutes with 20 to 30 lbs packs. we left at 5pm. it was perfect. it really shouldn't matter what time you go hiking on this Trail because it is very covered. the last mile is definitely little steeper but nothing extreme. recommended for a longer medium difficulty hike. take extra water.

Great hike. Many trails, easy to get off on a different path

This trail was very challenging because of how steep it was. There are lots of rocks and boulders, and you go over a couple of streams, walking on logs. Lots of shade, which was nice. Very good exercise, but I felt that the moderate rating should be more like moderate+, though I saw a lot of children on the trail.

Horses and dogs are allowed on the trail, so there is quite a bit of horse manure and the occasion dog pile you must avoid. We ended up not doing the entire trail, but instead turned off about half way up to go see the falls. That made the difficult hike worth it. Very beautiful and refreshing.

WARNING: When we reached the waterfall, we saw a young man lying at the base of it, badly hurt. He had fallen from the top of the waterfall (about 60+ feet). He had to be life-flighted out. I tried to get where he was, to help the others who were helping him, as I am trained in first aid/cpr, but the rocks were very, very slippery, even when dry. Please be careful if you venture to the actual falls.

All in all, a nice hike, especially if you want a good work out. The round trip from the falls is about 2.5-3 hours.

The spectacular wildflowers and lovely lake at the end of the trail make this one a "must do". Went on a Saturday, and had lots of company. Low on solitude, but high on friendly people enjoying Mother Nature's gifts

Definitely a strenuous hike for unconditioned bodies! Well trafficked area with lots of people on the trail. Dogs allowed which is nice. Available parking close to entrance during the week. Lots of kids. Good warm up hike for the newly adventurous.

Mostly up hill but has some nice reprieve with switch backs and flatter parts. A mix of shady and exposed. The lake was beautiful and it wasn’t too trafficked. Round trip took me about 5.5 hours including a nice break at the top. Love this hike.

LOVED this hike. Took about 2.5 hours round trip and it was so worth it.

The route up is an access road so it’s rocky, wide, and very exposed to the sun. The lake itself is nice. There are very limited tent sites if you’re planning on staying the night.

decent quick hike. hiked in, had lunch and enjoyed the falls. easy trail with a little elevation. saw toddlers having no issue.

This is an awesome trail for a quick hike.

Anyone giving this a bad review probably just has a bad attitude.

The falls are beautiful, and there are some great views.

Sunday afternoon was a great time to do this. I only ran into a few people.

A great 1 or 2 day backpacking adventure! My wife and I did a 2 day trip 20 years ago and I just took 2 of my kids (wife was nice enough to stay back with the younger kids). Great wildflowers and not too difficult with a pack. Don't count on fish for dinner as they seem to be picky. This area seems surprisingly popular for fishing 4 miles in.

did this hike today. very steep in places very beautiful wooded hike with the sound of the river always near and the falls at the end was amazing. well worth the hike.

Backpacked to this beautiful spot. Worth it.

The incline is a grind which is awesome, but it makes the downhill suck. It’s a fun short trail. Very exposed so don’t go in the middle of the day in the summer like I did.

Good exercise, ghost falls is a trickle in summer, but hey, get outside.

Backpacked this trail with a group of 12, ranging in age from 11 yrs old to 50, and was a nice variety of difficulty for all. Enjoyed the campground and cooler/cleaner air. Plenty of trees for setting up hammocks as half the group opted to do that. Plan on 2 hrs each way. Many wild flowers, but a couple weeks sooner would've been better. Overall, great hike.

It’s cool. Not much of a destination, just a cool hike. Power lines following the trail are the reason for 4/5 stars.

This hike was a nice surprise. We couldn't do our originally planned hike because of a forest fire, so we chose this one instead because it was close. The trail started off pretty steep for a short time then transitioned into the dirt road portion... loose rock section, then BAM! Beautiful views! There appears to be many small trails you can explore up to the mine. I would do this hike again just explore the other trails that come off of this trail.

Fun hike! We went mid-day and we're grateful to have some occasional shade. I would recommend doing this hike in the morning when it is not as hot. The waterfall is definitely worth it when you get there!

Great hike, took me a little over three hours to get up there but once you are at the lake it is unbelievable. Nice scenery and wildlife on the trails as well as around the lake, they started draining the lake today so if you are going go right now or by the end of the week.

Our family has completed this hike three times now, most recently was September 2017. Our 9, 8 and 6 year-olds did well. Our 4-year-old had to be carried quite a bit. We took our time to enjoy the views etc. This hike is best enjoyed in fall, imho. The top does make me a little nervous with the children.

What a fantastic backpacking trail to take four young teenaged grandkids. We had a wonderful two days and a great hike. The weather is fantastic in July, I was even too warm for sleeping!

Our family loves Lisa Falls, but it is very disappointing that people have tagged the rocks. Very disgraceful!

Incredible views! Stunning evening hike, beautiful all around, with the perfect amount of challenge!

Hiked this trail again on Wednesday for probably my 25th time. I’ve lost count. Had a great time. It’s dry, bit we saw a few people we knew also out enjoying this trail. Great for kids 10 and older because the caves at the end have drop offs that little ones might be a little scared of.

You get a great view of the China Wall portion of the Crimson Trail on the other side of Logan Canyon.

Worth it every time and would definitely recommend this trail if you are in the area and want a good hike that will take about 4 total hours from downtown to the top and back to downtown.

Only one hill on the way back but otherwise an easy and beautiful hike. Surprised at all the wildflowers. Lake is really pretty.
