I did this during a snowstorm. It was technically challenging because of this and spikes were a must, but because of the storm there was zero visibility and I didn’t get to see the stunning views! Will def go back on a sunny day. The top portion is no joke.

Nice little walk with a decent view, but not much of a hike.

Parking lot was not super large, recommend getting there early. This was almost more of a scenic lookout than a hike. Took about 10 minutes to walk down and 10 to walk back. Lots of bathrooms which were pretty well maintained. Great stop during our long day drive.

Very easy walk. Beautiful Canyon views!

incredible walk/hike. this is just beautiful.

What a great hike! Great slot canyon, beautiful scenery. Great access to the Paria. A must-do hike. Same trail head as the Wave, do them both!

Had to do this trail after seeing it in Lonely Planet’s Epic Hikes of the World. It was as stunning as promised. My only complaint was how busy the trail was .. and that was in January. It has to be ridiculous during peak season.

Super easy trail.

This place was totally and completely out of my way, but it was so worth it once I got here. The entire hike is stunning. Very few people hiking here in the winter so it felt like I had the place to myself!

Really nice hike with spectacular views of the canyon and little niches for meditation. I didn’t finish because I started too late in the day and it was getting dark, but I made it 4.3 miles round trip, so I probably was close. I hiked solo so I wasn’t planning on scrambling with the chain. Definitely would do it again and complete it.

Go early. Its a popular trail & it becomes too trafficked-especially when the park is in full swing

Very easy! If you do the whole 5.4 miles that is on All Trails, you will go from Manther Point to Bright Angel Trailhead, and back. It is paved the whole way, obviously snowy and icy right now. Perfect way to get some miles in, see some views, and not work too terribly hard!

Pretty easy hike to see something that I have only seen in many photos. Very beautiful.

This was the scariest thing I've ever done. I'm proud of myself for doing it because I'm terrified of heights but I won't ever do it again. We were appalled at the people hiking to the top with small children. Yes, it's beautiful but it's also dangerous. Be safe.

The guides kinda just rush you through. The canyon is gorgeous but I didn't get to really take it in.

1/10/19 quick and easy. slight presence of ice near the waterfall.

1/10/17 great scenary for sunset. quick and easy. parking can be limited. would recommend due to ice on other trails at Zion.

1/11/19 Incredible hike and views. Ice is present on the wiggles and from the first set of chains. It is possible to get past first set of chains without clamp one but would not recommend. very easy to slip.

Went up on New Years Eve, it had snowed about an inch the night before and everything was absolutely beautiful. The shuttle was running and we caught the second or third one out at 8:20. There were about 40 people hiking the switchbacks around us, but that number dropped to about 20 when we hit the chains because of the snow.

I would NOT go past the first short stretch of chain without micro spikes. Several portions were extremely slick, and the couple hiking ahead of us without spikes made me nervous. About 90% of people we saw that day had spikes on. Well worth the $20.

Took us almost exactly three hours total, from hopping off the shuttle to getting back to the stop. It was starting to get crowded as we came back down, which would have added a lot more time waiting for the narrow parts to clear up before passing.

First time to the Grand Canyon and the views were gorgeous! Definitely would recommend microspikes for the trail right now, as it was pretty packed with snow. Took about 3hrs round trip for me to get to the three mile house and back. Stopped quite a few times on the way back up to rest + enjoy the views.

short hike very beautiful place a lot of people I enjoyed

Did on Jan 3, 2019. One of the most awe-inspiring, beautiful, out-of-this-world hikes! Especially in winter with the snow dusting the rocks. Parked at the lot near sunrise point. Started at sunrise point, went down queens garden trail, continued onto Navajo loop (Wall Street portion was closed but took the other leg to get to sunset point, then walked along rim trail to get back to sunrise point. Did the hike in hiking boots— was a little icy/slippery especially at the tops of the trail near sunrise point and particularly sunset point, but hiking boot were fine. Wouldn’t really recommend doing it in street shoes during winter when it’s icy— lots of people slipping especially trying to go down the trail from sunset point (more heavily trafficked in that area so the ice was slicker)

This is amazing! The bridge is massive! I could have spent all day exploring!

Definitely a great trail, went down queens garden to Navajo (also did the peakaboo loop) and we wore traction going up Navajo because of the ice. The hike was gorgeous and highly recommended, but I was glad we asked the ranger who recommended going up Navajo instead of down this time of year.

Highly recommend for all; families and hikers. Great experience!!! Good choice if you don’t want to do a long hike or if weather changes your plans. This is perfect for a long walk, there are also shuttles that pick you up at various places. There are a dozen spots to take pictures of the Grand Canyon. Also, there are gift shops, a geology museum and bathrooms along the rim.

You also have the opportunity to learn some geology and walk the geologic time scale.

One of, if not the most spectacular hikes I've ever experienced! Amazing view of the canyon and a thrilling trail that towers above the river below!

this place fuckin sucks dick

I loved this hike, we where there first part of November. The deepest part of the Narrows was just above the knee. We had rented the water gear at Zion Adventures. The water temp was 42 degrees and we where not cold at all, feet were wet the whole time, kinda felt like you had jello in your shoes! We hiked about 5 hours up and back. I will definitely do this hike again!!! The scenery was spectacular.

Aweosme hike. Brought the entire family along-deer in the stream-waterfalls-scenic spots-everything is surreal here!
