Beautiful late afternoon hike with fall colors and great views of mountains and valley. Relatively easy and quick hike to summit. Heavily used trail.

Great trail for sunrise

Good little hike with a waterfall at the end - entrance fees waived by a National Parks pass.

Loved this trail. Unfortunately it burned in sept of 2018. who knows when someone will go and replace all the wood bridges. Even if they did it will be a very sad sight for a while.

Not my favorite hike, but it’s nice. It’s a pretty busy trail but the waterfall at the end is fun.

Easy hike and so beautiful!

One of my go-to hikes. Not very populated and has amazing views.

I'm a hiker from NH out visiting my daughters family. We started out around 8 am on a beautiful, cool and windy morning. The trail winds through beautiful Aspen forests with some spruce mixed in. The Aspen had turned yellow at the higher elevations and made for a beautiful contrast on the sides of the high mountains! The trail is moderate with nice flat sections through alpine meadows. My issue was the high altitude that I'm not acclimated to, but did the hike in about 2 hours with photo ops along the way. Spectacular views! Well worth the time and effort!

Beautiful hike. Not much water this time of year. Want to do this in the spring.

worth seeing.

Beautiful!

beautiful falls and shaded paved trail to the base of the falls. just pass the falls there is a bridge to the left with port-a-potties..to the right of the bridge is the safest way up the falls. it is dirt narrow trail that then turns to gravel and rock. Very narrow all the way up but not strenuous. Just nerve wracking that you could slip! We took our 12 yr kld daughter and I was so afraid she would slip. people were carrying babies and toddlers and i think they were nuts!! once to the falls it ia gorgeous and fun!

9.3.18 - this is a pretty easy trail. I started it at 8:15am and the lots and side of the road were so full. but the time I came back down it was a circus on the trail. there were so many people it was like bestbuy and Walmart on black Friday. lots of crying kinds and college kids blasting the music. I'd say do this trail during the week, very early in the morning. you'll enjoy it so much better.

Great views with a relatively easy and short ascent. Some very steep sections toward the end but all in all it is a pretty doable hike. A little hazy still from the fires but the views were still comparable to those you would get on Squaw.

Good, simple hike. I followed the All Trails map and did the first turn off to go see Bridal Veils fall (be carefull, steep and loose rock) which was awesome to see. Then the pup and I got back on the trail towards Upper falls. The trail is all cement until you reach the trail head for both waterfalls. The Upper Falls trailhead will have a cement structure with graffiti on it, like other pictures have shown. The trail alone was nice. Slightly steep (by no means bad at all) and some loose rock, but worth the short hike straight up to the falls. Made for a great and simple morning hike. Like in my other reviews for other hikes, I got there early t avoid people (I was there around 7:45am or so) and by the time I got back to my truck the lot was packed and people everywhere.

Went on Labor Day and easily found a place to park. Not a super busy trail. Like others, we took Lame Horse to Flat Horse and then to the overlook. If we did it again, we would still do the loop, but go Flat Horse to the overlook, then coming back from the overlook, take a right on Flat Horse (there is no sign) and then Lame Horse back to the parking lot. Starting with Lame Horse and then to Flat Horse is pretty steep. And, what others haven't said too much is the .4 miles to the overlook is really really really steep, but very worth it!! Great hike!

Great hike for children. Bring or wear Chacos, Keens, or other water shoes.

Fun spot - not really a hiking trail, but a neat place to play in the river

Fun, short hike! Parking lot fills up quick, and it costs 6$ to get in. Fun for families, pets, as a date, etc

A beautiful hike! Definitely go early because we got there @8 and as we were getting back to the car @10:30 tons of people hiking up. Next time we would go an hour earlier but 8 wasn’t that bad

Great hike!! Went up early in the morning to avoid people and I was glad I did!! By the time I got to the waterfall, and hung out for 15 mins, the people started rolling in. I had very quiet hike to the fall, but going back was getting crowded. The pup and I will for sure be going back.

My husband and my first ever hike. Beautiful and easy morning. Parts were crowded but likely had to do with being Saturday of Labor Day weekend. Will definitely be something we do again.

My first hike ..had an amazing guide and a great time had ..

Beautiful, lots of river crossings and gradual incline!

Beautiful hike with family, kid’s ages 9, 12, and 16. Lookout at the end worth the small steep section. Took two hours with photos at the tops . Kids all gave it a thumbs up

Took my daughter yesterday and she is 4 years old. She is an experience hiker. I would not necessarily call this a kid friendly hike. I was also back packing my 10 month son and when you have to climb the branches to view the falls...it was not ideal. However, lovely hike
