Took my Dad to this little gem of a hike. Great weather and no one around again!

Trail head is not marked. Park at Canyon Overlook parking. Take a look at my pics and/or my record and you will see a few pics to get your hike started.

This was SOOO fun. Many rock scrambles and a few technical areas to traverse. I am sure this will catch on in popularity soon....

If you are heading to Zion, this is a must hike short hike (took us 1.5hrs with 2 kids) Start here in the morning and hit up the other popular hikes after you are done.

Gorgeous! Didn’t see anyone else on the trail. I wouldn’t call this moderate, though. There are some more challenging spots that require some skill to navigate.

This hike was a bit more difficult than expected. Not because of the elevation gain but because this IS NOT A MARKED TRAIL. You have to use your All Trails map and follow the red trail using the gps or you may get yourself in a tough spot. Having said that, this was an enjoyable hike and as long as you take it slow, very satisfying. My heart rate did get up to 175 on the last part. I ran up the last 50 yards. It's pretty steep. Loved it!

Harder than expected due to poor navigational skills and a sprained wrist. Would have loved to make it to the top, but turned back at the arch.

Just did this hike! Not anyone else on the trail which was great too. Definitely a fun trail with some rock scrambling and cooler temps. Didn’t see any signs but we just dropped right down into the wash and followed it all the way up. Everyone on Mount Carmel highway just passes it up or parks and heads to Canyon Overlook. Great spot to get away from people.

You can make this trail as easy or hard as you want to; the trail outlined here is pretty steep, but there are places less steep to make it up. Gorgeous; and we were the only ones out on the trail.

Kids absolutely love this hike! Easy fun scramble to a nice cool slot canyon!

Short and relatively easy scramble; great view from the top. No special equipment needed other than maybe some good trekking poles. As long as you are careful with your route finding, are comfortable scrambling, and take your time, this hike should be pretty accessible for most, who are in relatively good overall physical condition. The view from the top makes for great sunset viewing or, even star gazing. Don't forget your headlamp though...

We definitely struggled to find a path from the road from which to drop into this canyon. It quickly became steeper on the ascent than we wanted to attempt to descend, so didn’t manage to make it the entire way as the map showed. If you’re up for some scrambling on slickrock, this would probably be easy for you.

Anyone that's been to Zion knows getting away from the crowds is difficult, if that's your goal this is an ideal trail, we didn't see anyone else. Despite the 90 degree temps this slot canyon was cool and refreshing. It is a short trail and there is some scrambling which might be tough for some but it's definitely a neat detour. We did the overlook trail and then walked to this one from that parking area.

Awesome hike with virtually no other people. There is some rock scrambling, slick rock, and sandy portions, but you are greeted with a slot canyon at the end which is the best part of the hike. If you want a hike all to yourself in Zion, do this one!

Fun trip for the whole family. We have 5 kids ranging from 3 to 10 years of age and they have a wonderful time in this canyon. For sure as good as it gets for little kids! You have to scramble down to the bottom of the canyon from the road above. However once you've scrambled down it's a fun somewhat challenging hike for the kids with a few rock scrambles. At the very back the canyons is narrow with shelve like layers on the west wall.

Attempted this hike today with my husband. We're fit and enjoy a challenging hike but we really struggled with the steep, crumbling rock faces, and had to turn back (unheard of for us normally!). We may well have slightly missed the ideal route (no route markings and several possible trails to hop on) but I think you do need specialist equipment traverse the rocks. We scrambled around and made it to a lovely view just off to the right of the 'real' trail, but I don't think this is a good hike for budding amateurs, alas.

This is an unmarked trail, but a great little hike that is off the beaten path of where everyone else is.

Attempted the hike alone today, but just made it to the arch. I'm getting a bit old and chickened out on the final ascent to the top.

I enjoyed this short hike to a true peak. The views from the top are worth the climb and it did not require gear. Depending on the way you go to the top may require more or less technical climbing experience but it is possible to climb to the top with just your originally supplied arms and legs. I'd suggest staying to the west side and just keep climbing until you can access the peak from the north.

I had a chance to hike this summit again with a good friend and his son (age 11 + friend also age 11). What a fun hike. We added our names to the registry (added paper also) and on the way down my friend told me how cool it was to sign the registry (his first time) on the peak of something spectacular! I couldn't agree more.

I love this summit hike! Short rewarding peak, and the beautiful Two Pines Arch along the way.
