I did this hike in the dark so I didn't the best view of the pools. I have heard they are not as green as they look in pictures due to photographers adding filters to their photos.

Don't go in when it is raining! I is very wet and cold in the canyon (not to mention the danger of flooding!) I did get some mild hypothermia doing this hike on a rainy day in September. The trail is also 10 miles round trip not 2. I would totally do it again though because the canyon is amazing!

I suppose because we had just hiked the extremely quite North Rim of the Grand Canyon and Capital Reef National Park the days before, I was really taken aback by the Disney like feel of this hike. Don't get me wrong, it was stunning but I absolutely enjoyed it 100 percent more when we climbed down to the river and walked along there. It's obvious who is walking the Narrows because they rush down the paved path barely enjoying the Riverside walk and honestly, some people were just flat out rude. Also, get to the parking early in the park. We arrived at 8am and it was getting already tight.

An amazing hike. Spend the money and get the boots, neoprene socks and a hiking stick. We had two sticks each and they were very much used. Enjoy!

Loads of fun! We took the trail up and the river walk back, if the water isn’t too high we would highly recommend it. The natural bridge alone is worth the trip but the granary along the left canyon wall is the best we’ve seen in two weeks of exploring Utah! Keep hiking until you’re tired of wrestling with the sand, pop into the river for a cool, leisurely and solitary walk backcourt

Cool walk, very crowded. Middle and Upper pools are currently closed due to flooding.

The short hike is suited for just about all ages and abilities. Very crowded (parking lot full) at sunrise but less crowded by mid-morning. I recommend going later in the morning because you can still get some great photos of the canyon through the arch without the crowds!

Loved it! The canyon was beautiful!

The falls are definitely worth it but take the time to enjoy the rest of the hike as well. Very large and visual pictographs, exceptional rock formations and clusters of plant life not often seen in the desert. It is a busy trail but late in the day it was very manageable.

Beautiful arch and great views. Well worth the hike. Very few people in the full parking lot went up Cassidy, most wandered down the wash. A little strenuous for some during the first mile climb but we had no issue and it was over 90 and sunny so very doable. Take the hike you’ll be happy you did

super easy trail but worth doing to see the arch, nice view aswell with the mountains far in the background

great hike, even in 90 degree noon sun. moderate traffic. best done in morning. easy to follow and lots of variety. be prepared for lots of stairs during this hike of 130m elevation. bring water! gave one of my water bottles to a gent who didn't have any stone he looked like he was about to crumble.

A very nice trail. The waterfall and pool are a nice treat for the eyes and feet!

Awesome for sunrise pics! It does get quite crowded with photographers so make sure you get there early to get a good spot viewing the arch and canyon below.

Great trail for sunrise

I took this hike in the middle July, which made the arrival to the falls well worth the hike. The trail is mostly sandy and rocky. The sand can get hot towards the middle of the day, but people hike in sandals and chacos nonetheless. Consider getting booties for your dog, and have something to carry their feces in (unfortunate but courteous), a mason jar typically works. There isn’t a substantial amount of elevation change either during the hike. Upon arriving to the falls, it is very much an oasis, with plenty shade from trees. The water is very cold, as it should be. It’s fun swimming as close to the falls as possible too. During the hike back, I encountered some light rain, so be rain ready too. Be sure to check out the upper calf creek trail if you can. As far as traffic goes, be sure to arrive as early as possible if you want to have good parking. During the time I went, the crowd was small enough for everyone to swim and play around. I’d estimate 50 or so other hikers at the falls. The weather at the time was about high 90s during the day, and lower 70s at night. Be sure to take lots of water too.

Good little hike with a waterfall at the end - entrance fees waived by a National Parks pass.

Easy hike just make sure you stay to the left at the fork in the canyon. The swimming hole is really beautiful tucked inside the alcove. Br sure to check out the petroglyphs on the canyon wall when you’re navigating the slanted rocks at the beginning of the trail.

this started out as a very easy trail and you could run it until the last 3/4th mile where it goes from graded dirt to almost river bed like conditions of tons of basketball sized loose rocks and slippery boulders. route finding can be difficult at times but stick to the main trail and it's a fun hike.

Great Hike! We didn’t even see anybody else on this hike

It was a bit of a challenge since I had not hiked in 2 years. I loved the challenges though. the views made it all worth while. We wet our faces in the waterfall.

Loved this trail. Unfortunately it burned in sept of 2018. who knows when someone will go and replace all the wood bridges. Even if they did it will be a very sad sight for a while.

Hiked with a 10 month baby and thought the hike was pretty good. It’s super steep going up and gives you a great challenge. I’d recommend hiking boots and water!

Got to the parking lot before sunrise and we were the third car there. On return the lot was full. Get there early. Great hike with wonderful rock formations along the trail and super views at the end. Starts a little steep but flattens quickly. We got to the view point just as the canyon was beginning to glow with the sunrise. There is some exposure but with a little precaution you should be fine

Beautiful hike. Make sure you hike to the end of the trail and see the funky water carved “circle room”.

Nice walk along the Virgin River that leads to the beginning of the narrows hike. Great views of the canyon floor and towering canyon walls.

Rock fall had blocked access to the upper and middle emerald pools but this trail is still worth the time. Great photo opportunity on the bridge across the Virgin River. This is a popular trail and will be crowded but it is wide enough to accommodate
