An easy and great hike. I took my 3 year old and she managed to walk the entire thing without too much trouble. Watch out for coyote poop on the trail.

Good, but too full

Love love this hike - had to stop a couple times on the way up, but no regrets because the views are to die for. Agree with moderate difficulty, and take plenty of water because you are going to want to be up there for a while!

when I arrived the tea house I realized there was no view from this level.
Most of the ascent to the tea house was in the woods and there was a little view all the way.
The only view is from the little beehive that was 1km ascend.

This hike is really crowded but the views are great and the tea house is lovely. You can help out the tea house by bringing down trash bags to help them out.

Very nice hike, you have a great view on Lake Louise and pass Mirror Lake before arriving at Lake Agnes.

its a. busy hike ..it is a little smoky still but nice ..p.s if u want to take an alternative route down thats quieter take the horse trail down..its muddy but super quiet ....

The Tea House was crowded, but still charming and a welcome stop before circling Lake Agnes to the Big Beehive trail, which I would highly recommend doing on a clear day. The view from the top was amazing!

Beautiful and very easy trail, 2 hours and 30 minutes total trail.

Great hike. Not a great starting location on this particular map. Google had me park in the middle of a neighborhood & follow a trail in between houses. Once on the actual trail it was beautiful. Will definitely be doing this hike again but starting from another location.

We went hiking this trail for the first time this summer. Most of the trail is in the tree area except a couple sections that have great views of the valley and lake louis. The tea house was too crowded. They were not allowing any food from outside to be consumed in the tea house and their menu was very limited to cheese sandwich and soup! To our surprise, after coming out of the tea house, we noticed that they are taking water by a kettle out of the Agnes lake, in front of the tea house for all cooking and coffee or tea!! Dogs were playing in the water, at the same spot! When I asked them, they confirmed that there is no filtration and they only boil the water. Considering that in elevation, water boils way lower than 100 C, the cleanliness of water is questionable! I wonder if Alberta Health is aware of this practice!
In general, its a nice trail to be tried once. Not much scenery, though.

Beautiful hike and very easy

Great views, well worn trail, exciting cliffs to look off the edges, and very accessible trail head from the highway. My family with younger kids was able to hike this with only a few hundred yards of piggyback with the youngest. The following year all of them did it again on their own. We love this hike.

Beautiful hike up to Lake Agnes, with a great resting place at Mirror Lake along the way. The path is a constant ascent, so it’s a bit more difficult then it seems, but the views at the top are worth it.
Just be careful - if you go right at Mirror Lake the path is full of horse manure.

Went on the spur of the moment with a neighbor. Very nice hike with lots of good reviews. Easy hike especially for me since I haven’t been on a lot of hikes lately. This is definitely worth the time if you’re looking for an easy hike that you can do in about an hour.

Wonderful hike with a nice reward at the top! Beautiful views throughout.

Nice hike. Good view of Lake Louise from top of Little Beehive

Great hike. Lovely tea house by Lake Agnes which serves the best tea! Great views of the lake with options to continue the hike to either of the beehives.

5 cause of teahouse

favorite hike so far!!!

An excellent hike although the first part is through the trees so really nothing to see but forest. Once you get up to Mirror Lake the views get better. Still a bit icy and slippery in the upper sections. Staff at the tea house were busy getting the place ready for opening in June, but even though they were not officially open they were selling tea and other goodies out of the back door. The tea was perfect after the hike up. Excellent views of the lake and mountains.

We arrived at the Lake Louise parking lot by 7am and there was plenty of parking (Note-Lake Moraine lot was already full). Give yourself time to take lake photos because the light in the lake and surrounding mountains will be different when you get back from hike. We started the hike uphill by about 7:20 am and arrived at the tea house by about 8:40. We were with 3 kids ages 6, 7, and 11. They were more upset about being up at the crack of dawn than about the steep incline. There were quite a few groups passing us on the ascent. The trail is even and wide for the most part. There are areas of rocks and roots where my 7 year old tripped and skinned his elbow while running. Beware of horse poop on the 2nd half of the trail. There is not much of a view during most of the hike. Save some energy before the tea house to climb the steep 60 step staircase. We were lucky to grab one of the last tables in the tea house. The staff was busy unloading goods that were just unloaded from the helicopter. Once they were done unpacking more tables became available. A long line had already formed by 9am. The oolong tea and biscuits were delicious. BRING CASH (they accept US dollars). The views from the tea house are beautiful (tables are located inside and outside). Overall the hike was definitely worth waking up early for. The hike back down took our family of 5 one hour. We wanted to grab a shuttle to Lake Moraine but at $30 per person we opted to save our money and enjoy drinks on the patio at one of the Fairmont outdoor restaurants.
Tip: if you want to see Lake Louise and Lake Moraine park early (7am the latest) at LL. When ready take a free shuttle to Overflow parking lot where you can pay $15 per person for shuttle to Lake Moraine. If you take Shuttle from LL Fairmont it will cost $30. You can always chance it and try parking at Lake Moraine. But they only let cars in once 10 cars have exited. They refuse all cars from entering otherwise (not even to drop off people).

Fun hike! Was fairly easy with a beautiful payoff at the end. So many lakes that can be seen!

Very nice to sit and enjoy a cup of tea at the top while taking in our beautiful surroundings. We got to the top at 8am and crowds weren't an issue at all yet, but it was pretty packed by the time we left. We continued up to the big beehive - even if you don't want to hike all the way up, I highly recommend walking around to the other side of the lake - the view looking back at the teahouse is really pretty

Nice hike. The lake views are spectacular and the tea house is delishious! Bring cash for a snack.
Bit steep in some places but not bad.

A hard hike, quick elevation gain with many scrambles! But totally worth the challenge! Very rewarding and we saw goats!!
