Very short, moderately steep trail.

AWESOME! We did this in August 2018. Views are amazing!! Use a walking stick or two. I rolled my ankle about 5 weeks before the hike and was still able to do it. I did not have a walking stick but had to use my friends walking stick once in awhile which was super helpful. We wore keen sandals but next time will wear a good hiking boot. Hike at least an hour up the river and leave the masses behind. Incredible! Can't wait to go back and do it again!!

I was kinda disappointed, but that’s because my expectations were too high I think. I didn’t have the time or gear to get in the river for the actual Narrows part, but I thought the riverside walk would still be in a narrow canyon of sorts. Still gorgeous scenery. Icy path.

Nice little walk with a decent view, but not much of a hike.

Very easy walk. Beautiful Canyon views!

Got here around 3:30pm. Lots of snow but most of the trail is packed snow from all the people hiking up. We only made it a mile up because we didn’t want to hike back in the dark and there were a couple avalanche fields with downed trees which makes it hard to follow the trail. Probably not the best time to hike up until the trail is easier to find but if you want to go up the avalanche part you’d still get a good 2 mile hike out of it. Overall, it was a great hike and I’m definitely coming back to see the waterfall!

1/10/17 great scenary for sunset. quick and easy. parking can be limited. would recommend due to ice on other trails at Zion.

A fantastic hike with incredible views. I went counterclockwise on the loop and at the top of the first climb there is a view that makes the entire hike more than worth it. Certainly a hard hike, with lots of up and down switchbacks, but “peakaboo” moments around every bend.

What an awesome hike! If you have a four wheel Drive you can access the parking lot just above the trail. Pretty easy hike for someone in shape
And trail savvy. Some tight spots in a couple of the slots but amazing. Beautiful day, great weather! Went in the fall. Highly recommend

I loved this hike, we where there first part of November. The deepest part of the Narrows was just above the knee. We had rented the water gear at Zion Adventures. The water temp was 42 degrees and we where not cold at all, feet were wet the whole time, kinda felt like you had jello in your shoes! We hiked about 5 hours up and back. I will definitely do this hike again!!! The scenery was spectacular.

Aweosme hike. Brought the entire family along-deer in the stream-waterfalls-scenic spots-everything is surreal here!

Awesome trail for the family.

The views along this trail are so pretty! It’s a bonus that you can bring your fur balls, too! I’ll be back in warmer weather to enjoy it a bit longer.

It is a very nice hike to see some hoodoos and other formations. I also really like how some unscrupulous lowlife scum sucking bottom feeders are thinking (?) that carving their name in the rocks is the best thing to do.

This was one of the best hikes I have ever done. Did it a little differently than the description. Started at Sunrise Point and the heavily-trafficked Queen’s Garden Loop. Then cut off (on Navajo Trail) to join the Peekaboo Loop. Did half of that, then took the steep Bryce Point trail to the top of the rim. Then back down that trail and onto the other half of Peekaboo. Finally, back up the Navajo to Sunset Point. Every turn brought a new stunning vista. I took hundreds (literally) of pics. Lots of walking on snow and some icy patches, so putting some kind of traction aid on your boots will help. Total time: a little over five hours. (Leave off Bryce Point add-on for a shorter but still spectacular hike.) park at Sunset point and walk to Sunrise to start so that your car will be waiting for you at the end.

easy hike, big payoff. trail is packed the whole way. spikes were all that was necessary.

A must - where you see it all. Probably the windiest spot in the park. It was 9 degrees - but the views made me forget about the temperature.

Beautiful views in the snow on 12.28.18. Take water and prepare to catch your breath at times with the switchbacks.

Beautiful views in the snow on 12.30.18

I did this hike in late September. Weather was 90 degrees, but the water was 62 degrees, and cold. The Narrows path is a paved trail along the river that ends at the entrance into the Narrows canyon. I would strongly suggest renting the neoprene socks and hiking shoes in town, along with a hiking stick. Your hike will be much more enjoyable if your feet aren't freezing cold (we didn't and wished we did). Stick definitely helps with your balance. Don't underestimate things in hiking up this river. The Narrows hike up the canyon is an incredible hike and unlike anything I have ever done before. The scenery and environment is spectacular and a MUST do at Zion. The place is very crowded, which is a draw back. But is it still worth it.

This was an easier than moderate hike in my opinion, and an absolutely amazing winter destination.

Perhaps it was a mistake to do this hike the day after visiting Zion, but this trail was a let down for me. There are tons of tripping hazards in the form of volcanic rock (more so, it seemed, than other hikes in Snow Canyon). The only view is the wall of Red Cliffs, but that is unchanging throughout your hike. Most people we saw on the trail were actually over on the Johnson Canyon route - maybe there is a reason it is more popular. We enjoyed looking at the nearby neighborhood because at least it was something different than the monotony the trail otherwise offered. We were so disappointed by this trail that we turned around before making it to the cave. The trailhead for this one is before the Snow Canyon State Park entrance; I’m thinking they know it isn’t worth paid entry!

Unbelievable view when you get to the top. Main parking lot is hopeless, try going a bit ahead of tunnel to grab a roadside spot. The rocks may get slippery after rain/ snow. Very easy hike leading to an amazing end!

Hiked up the narrows. Rented gear to keep our feet warm and bodies dry. Did the hike with 4 kids ages 9-13 and 2 adults. Everyone loved it. Despite it being December and snowing lightly for part of the trip, we were warm as long as we kept moving. Wall Street was amazing and also hiked the other way towards veiled falls. Quieter going this way and equally wonderful! Steady traffic in and out but you also had moments where it was just your group.

Easy trail and fun for all member of the fam. Old to young we were able to make the lower pool no problem.

Stunning day. Snow crampons were the ticket. Rainbows (Snowbows) around every corner. Falls were mostly frozen. Exquisitely beautiful.

Nice and short trail, with spectacular views at the end. There are a couple dropoffs on the side of the trail, so be careful with your footing in a few places. There are 10 parking spots right at the end of the tunnel (if you're coming from the park), with some overflow parking further up the road. I'd recommend getting here early - we ran into a bit of a traffic jam when we were descending through some of the more narrow passageways.
