This trail is very informative from beginning to end. Very Beautiful , natures all around you. You’re literally at the top of the world .

Cool trail

Too short of a hike, but not short of graffiti
Our kids loved all the colors

Nice easy hike. Took our 2.5 year old and baby. Fun scenery. Will do it again

it was pretty nice until the very end. The trail got very narrow and sketchy towards the end.

There was a lot of turtles and ducks. Beautiful park. Men’s restroom needed cleaning. Two basketball courts is always a plus.

Beautiful waterfall! Short walk to the lower falls. Lots of nice falls and pools to explore on the way up. Not too crowded on weekday morning.

short hike following the Gage canal. it was ok, I honestly think hiking the whole gage canal would be more interesting.

Waterfall is beautiful and still has a nice amount of water in it in August. The scenery and short hike isn’t an issue at all. What’s unbearable and ruins the beauty of it is the MASSIVE amount of people here. I would definitely recommend trying to go maybe towards sunset or incredibly early in the morning because even getting there by 8 am, I couldn’t stand the people.

if you take Google maps directions it will take you to the Jenks Lake parking area which is state run & costs $5, or you can pass Jenks Lake Rd. to park at Barton Flats Visitor Center & walk in by trail. we walked the entire way around the lake, not just the short paved section on All Trail. Our route was 1.25 miles. The lake rec area offer fishing, boating, vault toilets & picnic areas with charcoal grills.

I like that it's short, so if you just want to go for a few hours and not all day it's perfect.
I've been here a few times cause it's close. My dog loves it and she loves to climb so I like that it's an easy enough climb for her for me not to worry of her falling.
During the hotter seasons there's no water.. It dries up, during the cooler seasons after a good rain there usually is water.. It gets up to at least 2 feet of water.. More or less.
You can climb up the waterfall... Or down. I see Rock climbers there more so during the summer, which is pretty cool to watch. Usually pretty friendly also.
Downside is the tacky graffiti... If it were murals of something it'd be a different story maybe even liked by most... But it's just a bunch of stupid kids tagging their names and stupid kid-like drawings... It seems to be getting worse. Honestly I could do without the graffiti completely. Unfortunately it might not happen. Honestly there not much room for really good pictures because of it. Thankfully there are still some good spots but it's only a matter of time.
Teach your children not to deface nature and maybe, there will still be places of beauty left in the future.

All in all, I still love going here for my dog and I, easy rocky trail, steep but super short. Sometimes water, sometimes dry. Fun little outing.

8/4/18 - Came here with my boyfriend and 6month old pup. It was hard to find the entrance but we lucked out by seeing another couple Park and climb up. If you see the Lake Hills sign that’s where you begin your hike. I’ve lived in Corona for 14 years and the first time hiking here so it was beautiful! Didn’t know Corona had hidden treasures. This hike was not so long and easy to follow with the colorful graffiti guiding you.

Very short and easy trail. Very pretty, but be careful of falling pinecones. The animal foot prints were very cute. It says no dogs, but it was a dog ok trail. We did see dogs there. Definitely will go there again.

Took my 3 kids here and they loved it. Wasn’t too long, wasn’t too short. It was easy enough for my son, who is special needs, to walk and not need a break. There are 2-3 benches along the trail if you do have to stop and rest, or simply want to stop and see the beautiful surroundings.

It was a good easy hike, it is definitely kid friendly, had a good time.

Easy, shady trail. Not long but beautiful and educational. Great for families with small children.

This is more of a walk, with a paved path. It's a very pleasant walk and changes with the seasons. I've walked this in the rain and it was great! nice coverage through one third of the walk.

I agree this is not a "hike" nor a "trail" but just a sidewalk around a small pond. But I do like it if all I want is an easy stroll with my elderly parents or young toddlers for just a pleasant short walk after dinner in the evening. It's also good in the early morning before work just to get the blood circulating.

It's really nice, well kept up, densely forested, easy stroll with clean bathrooms, and nicely tagged scrubs, trees, wild flowers, ground cover, etc.. It's right on Hwy 18 with big parking lot. It's a great place to stretch. A tourist delight. Brochures galore at the trail head, free.

Great place and not too far from Palm Springs. Bought a parking pass for $5 at the visitors center before heading to the mountain. Although the person who checked us in at the gate to the parking area needlessly scratched our parking pass with plenty of free gravel parking. He said it was already crowded at 10 am and we ended up being the only one at the top of the falls trail. Jerk move if you ask me.

Trail is pretty easy until you get further up the trail at the waterfall. Rocks are very slippery and the trail is steep at the end. Be careful and take your time navigating the final approach to the falls because it’s worth it. Such a shame all of the graffiti someone left for everyone there, looks horrible. Aside from that, plenty of shaded areas by the water to relax and enjoy the natural beauty of the falls.

Love it

Definitely not easy but a great hike!

Easy short hike from the highway. Little water runoff from the lake along the trail in a couple of parts.

Easy, fun trail. One of my favorites

One of my favorite hikes in the area. There are a few parts with brief inclines (it is the mountains afterall) and you will need to navigate roots & rocks as well as walk through the creek to get to the waterfall. Should NOT be rated easy since it is natural earth & not a graded trail, although it is very short & not too strenuous at all. In June it was a bit buggy, but the fall area was a butterfly nursery. Thousands of them. Watch for stinging nettle & snakes.
