According to the trail signs it was actually .3 miles one way. The waterfall was iced over and trail very slick. Beautiful views tho

Super easy and short. The Rock formation was really beautiful and a great photo opportunity.

We love it. Very beautiful.

Short hike up with a beautiful payoff! The area can get pretty busy with people trying to get their pictures in, especially during the summer but well worth the trip year round

This is an easy trail with a big and beautiful payoff! So worth the short hike. The views are breathtaking! Just watch out for of the ground is covered in ice in the winter.

Nice easy trail

nice and easy, you can bring the dog. Beautiful, easy.

This trail had amazing views. It is undoubtedly worth the effort. That being said, once you get towards the steeper portion of the trail, it is hard to follow. Eventually you'll spot the blue rope. If you can't make it up the rope, there is a huge boulder slightly lower with great views. Also, the road to the trailhead is a long, bumpy dirt road. My front-wheel drive SUV made it up fine but sloooooowly.

Great trail - good rock climbing at the end

Easy hike with a great reward.

Great trail and amazing views! Went on a foggy Sunday and had the whole trail to myself!

Awesome views of Colorado Springs! I’ve hiked most of the trails around Cheyenne and this is the best view of the springs. Option to park at the top of Cheyenne canyon and walk or park along old stage road to extend the length of your hike. The rope is a little sketchy but it seems study for now. There’s a lot to climb once you get past the rope! I would highly recommend this hike

We came here with our dog in the beginning of September. The waterfall was mostly dried up at the top but it has nice views still. Easy and short hike, loose dirt in some areas which makes it a bit slippery in some areas. There is a creek at the bottom near the parking lot which provides some shade. The drive to here has narrow and winding roads up the mountain but we drove about 15-20 mph and no issues.

The park opens early at 5AM, so I recommend getting there before the crowds so you can truly enjoy the rock formations, which are incredible!

Short trail, mostly covered by stairs. There are some decent views up at the top with scenic viewpoints. There was little water when I was there, so there wasn't much action from the cascades.

Helen Hunt Falls is directly off of the parking lot, so there's very little walking to do once you've arrived in order to see the waterfall. Parking is very limited. There is a staircase that will take you up and over the falls and leads to some different trails.

Fun little hike! Wasn’t expecting the stairs, so keep that in mind, it is a very man developed trail and there are a lot of steps, some are slippery because of gravel. Brought my 2 & 4 YOs and my 12 YO dog, and they loved it, we made it all the way to the top! We had a blast sliding down the “slippery” rocks at the top and enjoying the beautiful views!

Short, easy, family-oriented hike. We found it by accident while driving on Gold Camp road. Will go back to do some of the other longer trails.

Short little hike. Quick elevation. Steps and gravel trail. Wide and easy to follow. Family friendly. Busy parking because of popularity. Zero water flow during droughts but still pretty.

Great views & quick hike. I’d actually call the terrain more Moderate than easy (some rocky parts where it’s not 100% clear which way the trail leads, but the area is small enough you couldn’t get lost). Perfect tacked on after a longer hike elsewhere in the park.

Some great views, short and sweet.

Beautiful hike, very easy. Did it with my 63 year old parents who really loved the views. There are stairs and a hand railing for the majority of the hike

Nice hike if your looking for solitude. Would be a bit tricky if it weren't for all the cairns on the way up. Took us less than 2 hours round trip from where we parked on road 303.

The map is excellent, otherwise, this trail is hard to find because it winding through residential area even some unpaved trail.

Great views!
