Under 1 Mile Colorado Trails Map

Very easy hike with some cool rock formations that provide great picture opportunities. Completed with a 1.5 yr old and 4 yr old without difficulty.

Easy hike with a lot of stairs. Good for kids, but you may need to carry them some if they’re young. Great views from multiple points along the hike.

It was a very pretty and short hike. Lots of places to take pretty photos

A nice place to go for a walk.. not a long walk.. but a good walk up the steps and down them.

I love that this is near water. It was peaceful and close by!

there's a lookout with a rock wall where they have park benches to enjoy the view. During the winter months you can see people ice climbing up the falls.

lots of stairs but great views of the falls. Easy trail for families

Easy trail that takes you by the stream, and gives you a great view of the mountains. You get to walk us a staircase like area that take you out to an open field. Lots of trees along the way. This trail connect to Bear Creek Regional Park and trails and Dog Park. This is a good place to bring your kids. My Bubs and I will be back to explore the regional trail and to check the dog park out with my new pup.

A good warm-up for more experienced hikers, or a good first hike for beginners. During warmer months, and especially weekends, the lower portion (Helen Hunt falls) can get fairly crowded.

Super easy hike. Lots of stairs, we came in January & the water fall was frozen. Looks like this hike would be better for the summer!

great view of the falls.

Nice trail for first timer on the area.

This was do-able for my husband and I and our 2 year son. We had a fairly easy hike up with him in a hiking kids backpack. Once we reached the top we let him run around and climb up little hill with small rocks. Coming down was a bit slippery so we went really slow. We would do it again!

Nice waterfall that’s really close to the parking area.

Pretty easy trail. The loose gravel on the way down makes it interesting at times.

Stairs, stairs and more stairs.

The Trail is well kept but it should definitely be listed as moderate. The hike is short (30 min at sedate pace) but the climb is steep. Depending on weather conditions can be slippery/icy. Come prepared and wear appropriate shoes.

short, easy, in town but still beautiful. We have done much harder hikes but Garden of the Gods and it's trails still remain an annual vacation mainstay.

Relatively short and very highly traveled. The big attraction is that it is just as neat as Helen Hunt Fall trail but FREE.

Best bang for your buck in the Springs in terms of distance hiked and view/payoff achieved. I Love this hike!

Very easy trail with great views. But bring micro-spikes in the winter, because the trail becomes hard-packed snow and ice.

Flat and accessible includes a disk golf course so keep your eyes open. Not very “natural” between the railroad tracks and the Garages nearby but a pleasant walk. No real shade.

It wasn’t as easy for kids as we thought.
