Watch out for dog poop on the trail! It was kind of a bummer to have to be more aware of piles of poo than actually enjoying the scenery around. Overall, it's a beautiful tiny hike!

My favourite waterfall although hike is short and usually very crowded.

great falls...easy to get to and some info on local plants along the way.

beautiful! I was lucky enough to go at an unbusy time.

Beautiful but not as long as I would have liked.

Very easy trail and is well maintained. Was able to walk through without feeling a need to stop. Seemed difficult for people with dogs because of the amount of people on labor day. Lots of poison oak the whole way as well. The waterfall is very relaxing and pretty.

Easy-moderate (only because of this incline) well paved hike/ trail!

I've seen many waterfalls. This waterfall is my favorite. It's so beautiful .

I didn’t enjoyed it that much. You can’t deny the view is take breathing, but you are not able to get close to the falls, the viewpoint is really far from there. It is my understanding that another trial exists to get to the bottom, we just didn’t know where that was. The trial it’s crowded, and to be honest, I was really scared about the missing boy and probably dead by now. At one point of the trial I saw some girls getting beyond the fence limit to get some shots and selfies and they were really really close to the edges and to one of the waterfalls. So scary! A picture is not worthy, life and security first, people!

I really enjoyed this trial. It is really easy and short. It looks completely dry in the way up to the falls, but once you get there, you’ll see that there is plenty of water, enough to enjoy the view. Make sure to bring some dry clothes because the two pools, upper and lower, look so attractive! I didn’t bring it and it was a shame. The place wasn’t crowded, just four people beside us.

Tourist trap. Beautiful waterfalls but too crowded

All those writing about hopping the fence to go see the waterfall should know that a young man did that and apparently fell to his death today. The fences are in place for a reason....stay on the trail and view the falls from the observation area.

Great family hike. If you can climb over some rocks and loose gravel you can go straight to the base of the waterfall.

Loads of stairs, I’m no fan of the heights. If you have a fear of heights, you might want to stay off this trail. There are several other nearby waterfalls where you are on land the whole time, half of this was on the edge.

My favorite down 138. There's something about these falls that just make me so happy every time I see it. Easy trail. I like to bring a lunch and eat it at the falls.

I love this trail if I'm looking for a quick, easy walk to a pretty falls. Depending on when you go it can either be busy or very quiet. The mosquitos can get bad in the summer near the falls, but overall one of my favorites.

Good hike. The .6 is pretty much straight up from the parking lot but you can get right under the falls if you want to! Cool place to see! Follow all of our adventures on Instagram @themicrotourists

This trail is pretty cool and super short. You also get views of the river most of the way. Unfortunately you have to hope the fence to actually get down to the waterfall. Otherwise cool and easy. Worth your time. Follow all our adventures on Instagram @themicrotourists

Easy and Fun hike with kids and dogs. Trail follows water most of the time. Beautiful cave/crack in rocks that the kids loved. Easily completed this and Susan Creek Falls before nap time with 2 year old in backpack and 4 year old hiking. Busy during summer and weekends.

Easy hike and wheelchair/stroller accessible. My 4 year old had fun running ahead and reading the info signs along the trail. Rare to have the waterfalls alone during the summer & weekends.

We easily completed this trail and Falls Creek Falls in one day without complaints from the kids.

This trail has ALL OF THE STAIRS! I think the sign at the trailhead said something like 97 up and 120 something down...
I was a little disappointed to find that the trail takes you to an observation deck. To get down to the falls, you have to climb over the metal fence and railing to a steep, rocky path that is not part of a maintained trail. The way down looked doable if you have good balance (I watched a group of 5 do it) but I’m not so sure about getting back up. I didn’t trust myself for the descent or ascent so there was that.
The view from the observation deck is beautiful and there is a bench.
The parking lot has a lot of garbage and toilet paper in the trees and bushes despite there being one vault toilet available for use.

Pretty easy hike, just has a lot of stairs. I didn’t climb down to the bottom though

Fun hike up and down along the Umpqua River to the finale with Lemolo Falls. I also wish I could have had more time to hike to the bottom of the falls instead of the viewpoint on the side. Still and amazing experience.

It's fun to find the 3rd tallest waterfall and then see the 2nd on hwy 58 (Salt Creek falls). Watson Falls is a short and relatively easy hike with a great end result.

Worth it. 10/10 recommend
