Great mix of village, open fields and woodland. Saw them harvesting the crops too.

Absolutely stunning views, from the beautiful aquamarine waters and beach, to the green hills and golden fields. The town of Rottingdean is lovely, with small town houses and history of Rudyard Kipling. There is even a windmill. Expect some closed gates and steep inclines.

Lovely walk to get away from the centre of Whitby. Paths were easy to navigate. Good views into the bay of Whitby and of the abbey. We did this walk with our boys (youngest 5yrs) and they managed no problem.

nice woods, interesting places along the way regarding winnie the pooh, we saw three deers/does around 3.5km in the walk, really nice and interesting walk in general. by the way, at one point, maybe 2km in the walk on the right side there's few tiny doors in the trees, honey jars on the ground and up in the trees, all to winnie the pooh, so keep your eyes open

One way was a pleasant trail, though very busy with people. The other way (about 1.5 miles) was vía a road and just wasn’t very pleasant with two small children.

WalkingGreat!

Super walk with good areas of interest starting with Giant Redwood trees then a 2000 year old Yew tree, almost next door Massey's folly and finally a walk along a disused railway line, the old Meon Valley railway. Yes this is an area where Jane Austin lived but that is the least interesting part of the walk.

Enjoyable walk with a good mix of scenery! We went in July so didn’t have a problem with it being boggy but I could see how the woods would be a problem after rain! GPS is a must as would be easy to get lost in the woods. You do have to walk on some roads but was nice and quiet. Enjoyable drink stop in the village on Minstead- shame we were too early for the pub!

Lovely walk but somewhat hilly. Gets busy at Pooh Bridge. Great views. No pubs or shops on route.

Walked this beautiful trail today with three young teenagers and two nine year olds... we wandered and took in the wildlife and flowers, took us 3 hours. I think we may have walked it in reverse but I dont think it matters.

Really nice walk. A bit of the walk can be quite muddy especially after wet weather. I would recommend waterproof shoes. Stunning views and free parking.

Walk across golf course between the yellow posts, straight ahead when walking out of the trees. Coastal path has been renewed with a new fence. Good to walk along again. I went off trail a little to take in some of the sea views, worth the extra few steps!

Absolutely breathtaking. This is definitely a must see for all. The hike is quite easy if you’re fit and well and it’s short trail which allows time to take in the beautiful views. There are some small benches to have picnics. It’s a lovely peaceful walk with the company of lots of sheep roaming freely. Baa!

Pretty route, incorporates walking to the remains of Houghton House first which took us to 9.4k. Opportunity to extend further by including the woods which this route take you alongside. Mostly flat, lots of rolling fields and rural countryside.

Nice little walk - bit busy at the start but once you're past all the Winnie the Pooh bits it was empty and lovely. Beautiful forest and fields, which opens up right at the end. No technical terrain but a bit of up and down, would recommend walking shoes but boots not needed in summer.

Lovely varied trail of open heath and dense, lush woodland. Bring some water as the track is hilly in places & sometimes lacks shade. Played a fun game of Pooh Sticks on Pooh Bridge!

It’s a great trail. The waterfalls are lovely make sure you explore them all! The circular through the village and by the reservoir is also great. We went on a sunny and calm day it is a very open place so I would expect it could be windy at times.

Beautiful walk with nice wiews of Bedford and whole rural Bedfordshire. Walked in opposite direction (anticlockwise) than recommended, with a start at Maulden's St. Mary church. There is small (perhaps unofficial) car park below the church hill and another car park next to church itself. Both are unattended and free of charge. Walk itself is very easy to follow and is very light, definitely not moderate.
