Walking

This is a great route - a real mixture of terrain. Some bits were quite boggy but you could get around most of it. The Pooh bridge is currently under renovation due to a fallen tree however we could still play Pooh sticks. The route to and from the bridge is quite a detour and is pretty bland so if you don’t want to play Pooh sticks then leave this bit out. We stopped on a little log bench for some snacks in the last woodland area about 45mins from the end and it was soo peaceful. A great lockdown adventure. Suitable for dog walking

Beautiful views and variety. Extended it to over 11miles :)) most of it in the winter sunshine. Very few boggy sections

Nice trail with picturesque heathland and lovely forest, though busy at times (on a Sunday during lockdown). If you aren’t too bothered about Pooh Bridge, I would skip that bit as the detour was uninspiring.

Absolutely loved it - loads of little surprises, long enough to know you’ve been out - and stunning views at points. Waypoint was perfect to keep us on track too!

Easy to follow, pretty muddy in places after days of rain, but enjoyable and recommended. Will visit again

Beautiful trail with a mix of woods & open spaces. Stunning views, & Winnie the Pooh landmarks are nice. Gorgeous autumn colours in the wooded areas. Muddy in parts so good footwear needed

Amazing views. A little muddy in November but no problem in walking boots. Took 1.5 hours at an easy pace. Picnic spots near the beginning. Lovely walk especially on a sunny winters day.

First time we’ve used the app and found this lovely walk. We stopped in Ampthill for lunch and had a slight detour to look at the ruins of Houghton House. A lovely day.
