Great training or exercise hike. It does get busy, but the more the merrier. The view of Tucson from the top is amazing.

Easy and not so long Trail
Beautiful day on december
Superb trees and cristal water

one of my favorites! never disappoints. water makes it such a gorgeous trail. good for summer (if appropriately prepared with water, hat, and sunscreen!!) or winter.

Quick, but steep- a good workout you can do in about an hour or so. I always go at night for the (almost!) 360 city lights scenery. Around this time of year (early winter, late fall) there’s a lot of people around 5-7 pm even though it’ll be pitch dark.

One of a best hike to do in winter.. thoroughly enjoyed 9 stream crossings.. A real worth the climb!!! will come back again for refreshing in the chillness and water.. This is a family hike , just guard the rocky terrain with children...

Some really nice moments on this trail. Starts with a climb that tops out quickly with some great views all around before heading into the canyon. Shady section near the springs with huge old cottonwoods is really beautiful. Overall, though, as other reviewers have noted, it felt like there wasn't really a destination, just a point where hiking over the rocks has worn you out and you decide to turn around. Feet took a beating on this one, even with boots...very rocky.

Great trail on the Northeast side of Tucson, ascending up into Pima Canyon. The trail was very narrow at times as trees, grass and vegetation grow onto the trail (yes, trees!)

Didn’t see much wildlife although I know there is a lot around. Beautiful day, mid 60’s and bright sunshine. Trail was heavily travelled, we saw lots of people.

Always a good hike, keep your feet dry!

Easy trail that I was able to run. The trail is relatively narrow though, so there were some areas where I momentarily wandered off into the washes. Beautiful hike with amazing views. Would highly recommend.

This is an awesome trail with great views. Not a hard trail not easy either.. the low rating is due to the excessive flow of people heading to the falls!! A friend wanted to see the falls so went back with her but started at 6:30am and no one was there when we got there!!!

A nice short trail with great views of the pass. I did this as a run but it was a bit rocky at times.

I don't know if I misread the mile marks but for us it was longer than 9 miles and we didn't reach the end. We stopped at 4.5 miles as it was getting darker and turned back. I was expecting the trail end at 3.8 miles based on the total of 7.9 miles. Nonetheless, it was a beautiful hike. It was like walking through a slightly elevated landscape garden. I just love the saguaros!

Did this hike with family while visiting my sister the day before Thanksgiving. There was not as much water flowing at the falls this year compared to last year when we did this hike, but it’s still beautiful. A few water crossings, but we didn’t even get our feet wet this year.

We went in April and nobody else was around because of the heat. But the trail was lovely!

Hiked it before Thanksgiving. Was a great hike and loved the falls. I highly recommend this trail

best trail run ever!

Really stunning trail that follows the creek up the canyon. Wonderful view points as it curves up the head of the canyon. Great picnic spot on the smooth water washed rocks at the midpoint of the falls at the top. Easy hike. Walking poles nice to have at the top.

Very nice easy trail. Perfect for a morning walk before it gets too hot.

loved the trail! went during the best time, there was water, it was low 60s, and there weren't very many people. i bet summer is brutal, but i totally recommend it this time of year.

Great hike!! Loved all the river crossings. Saw frogs, and enjoyed the views from the top. Beautiful photo opps along the way!

Fairly easy trail (if you're good on distance) and enjoyable hike with stunning destination. For those who wish to be more challenged, plenty of opportunities to navigate up the falls (though use caution, particularly when wet), while the rest of your party relaxes down below.

Cute trail. Easy.

Easy hike/walk with friends. Struggle to find the trail in some places but still easy to walk the dry creek bed and pick up the trail further on. Shade, birds, spots where water rushes over rocks, many vista points to stop and snack or take pics.

Great and easy trail.

Make sure u are at the falls before 1400 if u want to have enough fun for a swim.

Amazing views. For people with kids - the first half of the paved trail is a little rough for strollers and a few steep spots are really tough pushing a stroller. Otherwise it’s a great hike!

not a good trail for just starting after long time no hike (learned the hard way), but its awesome training for elevation gain!!! also the views are amazing

This trail has a variety of interesting vistas and interweaves along the creek bed, which when water levels are on the higher side, creates some fun little creek crossings. The pay off on this hike comes when you reach 7 falls (provided there is water at the falls). The falls are not visually impressive, but make a very chill setting. This is a great hike for hikers of a range of skill levels.

Dogs not allowed on this trail.

Lovely, so mani variety of cactus to enjoy and quietly beautiful. Mostly shaded in at 9am when I was hiking. Rocky in some places, overall moderate trail.
