This falls is a great family hike, and the kids love to stand under the 50 foot falls and get wet. It is also a favorite for those learning how to rappel. There is often people at the top repelling down the side of the waterfall. To get to the falls, you take the Pleasant Grove Utah exit 275. Turn east, and follow the road up to 100 E in Pleasant Grove. Turn right to 200 S, then turn left (east). Follow the road all the way to the top where there is a parking lot, and the trail head. The hike starts kinda dry and hot, but it as soon as you get up to where the water is not piped in, it gets greener and cooler. It is only about 1 mile up to the falls, and there is is cool and a delightful area to explore. If you have more time, you can hike past the falls, and right off the bat you will see 2 more pretty waterfalls. The hike above is steeper but if you go up about another mile there is a spot where the river gets wide, Rocky and very shallow. There is a sign here and there is a trail that heads over to Dry Creek Canyon. If you go from here up about another half mile it gets a little steeper and narrow, but you end up coming to a T in the trail. The right side heads to Baldy or connects also with Dry Canyon. The left side gets up to a dirt road that you can drive all the way out to American Fork Canyon. I usually walk the road for just a little while and then head off on a small trail through the meadow that heads down Grove Creek Canyon, and right by Indian Springs. This canyon was named because a tribe of Indians used to live up in this meadow. Some squirmish happened with the Indians and the Pioneer settlers and there really was a battle between the two that happened at the base of Battle Creek Canyons. A beautiful canyon with spectacular cliffs, beautiful waterfalls, and a bonus that you are very close to the river almost the whole hike. Here is a 360 stitch of the hike up until the turn off towards Dry Canyon. http://shaunasadventures.blogspot.com/2018/02/360-adventure-battle-creek-canyon.html?m=1

We really enjoyed this hike! Brought our little guy along:)

This is a beautiful road, but the description is incorrect. Pet dogs are NOT allowed in LCC, even in cars. There is a sign at the mouth of the canyon saying so. There are hefty fines if you do.

Also, traffic is terrible on a snowy day. The road has restrictions on cars without 4WD during inclement weather. It’s impossible to miss when these restrictions are in effect, so don’t ignore them! Weather is always worse at the top than the bottom.

The trail is hard packed all the way to the falls. Spikes come in handy for the final accent. Really cool icicles on the falls right now.

Fun, easy, and scenic! A must for families. The waterfall is beautiful and weather was great! Didn’t go past the falls but was fun. Did a Vlog of it on you tube if you want to see it. “Daydreamer” is the channel “Hiking to Battle Creek falls” is the title.

Pretty easy. Awesome that they would build such a fancy bridge for the BST

Lots of graffiti. The dripping springs themselves are cool. Don’t do it for the waterfall at the end though. It’s just flowing over graffitied concrete

Took my 5y/o, 3 y/o and packed my 1 y/o on my back and they all LOVED it! Incredible views, really cool rocks (which is important when you’re a kid), and the perfect distance for kiddos. We will DEFINITELY do this one again!

The sweetest biking trail. Loved the suspension bridge. Beautifl area for seeing nature as you ride, walk or run.

This is a really cool place. I wouldn’t have expected it to be up there behind just the neighborhood

It’s a good hike to go on with friends and family!

This is a nice easy family hike. My 5 year old had no problem. Beware as we saw needles and other drug paraphernalia towards the beginning of the trail head, but afterwards it was all natural beauty. The suspension bridge was awesome and overall it was a enjoyable experience.

Beautiful covered in snow. Easy hike with spikes on (lots of ice). A bit windy too.

Awesome short hike. Beautiful scenery most everywhere. I hiked from the Spruces Campground for an extra long walk through the quiet forest. The last stretch is treacherous during an icy winter; bring boot spikes. Big difference during the winter? Hardly ANY traffic, especially early in the mornings.

A good short hike that ends with a beautiful view in multiple directions. Be prepared to walk a ways up a snowy road to the trailhead if you go during the winter time.

Nice up and back, a little bit of a challenge around the falls and above. The trail is clear of snow and ice. Nice scenery with a the pleasant sound of the flowing creek.

As a beginner I had to pause a lot but it was well worth it in the end. Bridge is a bit wobbly but it wasn't scary.

Great trail. Some icy spots. Beautiful waterfall in a cave at the end.

Easy hike with just snow boots. If you want to go all the way up to the waterfall, spikes would be a good idea. Went on a Sunday afternoon and it was not crowded at all. Very pretty and scenic.

Did this twice. Extremely busy. Too many people.

Brought my dog up here today and it was beautiful! Only saw a couple people and a few bikers. There was no snow but it is supposed to snow tonight so there will probably be a couple inches tomorrow.

Great hike! The first part is switchbacks up the trail. The bridge is wobbly when walking across, but fun!

Love this hike and the changes in terrain. Love the bench that is right before the main waterfall.

Relatively easy trail to do. The bridge and the views are awesome. Take Ralphs Trail back down to give yourself a different hike back to Orsen Wells Trailhead.

I lots a silver eternity ring at the trailhead today taking pictures. If anyone happens to find it I would love to have it back. I’ve weary it everyday for over 10 years. Thanks. orangemusicnote@gmail.com.

This trail continues up for quite a ways past the bottom falls. Follows the river up. Good steep climb. I ended up turning around at 2 miles as I had to get back. I’ll go again and continue up further. Trail dry for the most part.

All dry today, we were disappointed.

One of my faves!!

Great, quick hike. Steep and icy, but otherwise, beautiful.

Great hike, close to the city but quiet enough to be enjoyable. If you keep going a little ways past the bridge the trail passes through a small boulder cave which is kinda neat.
