Had a great time walking the trail. Some parts are a little overgrown but still passable. Creek crossings, road crossings, animals, and plant life were awesome. Fun trail!

Easy hike it’s a bit too close to roads and civilization for a true hike. The trail is very well kept.

Beautiful hike. One area where you are on the cliff is barely your foot’s width and is terrifying if you’re going against the flow of traffic for hiking. But overall the views are breathtaking.

Enjoyable, hiked part of it with my friends and our dogs. Everyone had fun, water is good to cool off in

I like this loop. It’s pleasant, well-marked, and undulating. It’s not really scenic and it’s almost completely wooded. That’s not bad for me, but i can see how it could be a bit monotonous for some.

Billy Goat A trail loop was closed due to flooding, so we walked to the Great Falls Overlook on Olmstead Island, then followed the canal to the bridge across the canal (just past the Billy Goat trail entrance). After crossing over we picked up the Overlook Trail heading back towards the parking lot and eventually ended up canalside. While the views on the Overlook Trail are not as impressive as being right next to the falls, the trails were dry and it wasn’t crowded. It was a nice walk, with a few decent views looking down at the river if you take the two down-and-back spurs off the main trail. Combine all this with sunshine and 70s and you have the ingredients to a perfect hike!

This was a beautiful trail. The Dam added some cool scenery. One of the main bridges was out so it added a bit more hiking time as we maneuvered the detour around twisty streams and washed out trails. We did go after a big rain, but it was fun. We didn’t see another soul on the trail and the dogs loved it!

Absolutely fantastic especially if you go after a big rain to see Mother Nature at her best

Pretty easy hike. There's a couple steep hills, but nothing too strenuous. There's not much to see, so it drags a bit. Not sure if someone else covered this, but you take two other trails from the parking lot to get to the trail. It's a good trail if you're just trying to get some miles in.

Lovely hike (did the South Valley Trail to the North Valley Trail out and back). Several opportunities to cross the stream on logs which was fun. Would rate easy not moderate, but definitely enjoyable.

Great views, I’ve been here dozens of times during all seasons of the year.

I have ridden this trail many times. 1 and 3 are the most interesting with 2 being mediocre. the trails are really well maintained with little chance of getting lost. there are a couple of small streams to cross, some rock gardens and small logs across the trail to hop. there are a few small climbs, and a few spots to really fly, mostly on 3. you will find a couple of benches and a nice place to stop and look out over the lake. we've seen deer, snakes and birds. it can get a little rooty in spots, but it's mostly nice packed dirt. it can get technical in spots so I would say this is for intermediate skilled riders.

Very enjoyable! Went on a Monday, so no other visitors around. Nicely cleared trails, lots of wildlife tracks (including bear). My dog enjoyed a lake swim. Fee was $4 on the honor system (put money in envelop and place in slotted box).

Great place for family and friends get together and walk

My wife and I stayed to trail A. Only passed by a couple of bike riders. Trail is easy to follow and was a very enjoyable hike for the day.

Great park loved running on the the difficult bike trail.

Some areas are not well kept, but that being said, I did have fun and it is a great ride through the woods. A bit confusing at some points but with gps or a map from the visitor center (I had gps) you can figure it out.

This trail was awesome. The whole family went. It was pretty rigorous around Billy Goat Trail A because of the natural rocks you have to climb. It can be dangerous. If your young children don't follow directions well, it may be better to leave them at home. Halfway around Billy Goat Trail A, there is a side trail to take to get back to the main Towpath. We were told by a hiker, and by the warning sign, that it got even more dangerous with steeper climbs and descents. So we chose to stop. Can't wait to go back and complete this hike. Beautiful, breathtaking views of the rapids and waterfalls.

Trail C is a great trail with tons of nice big jumps and gap jumps! I say from what I hear because when I went last October I miss judged a jump and went over my handle bars. Suffice to say I had a severe concussion and had around six months of memory loss for a time. Thankfully my buddy managed to get me out and to the hospital! So this is a great ride but wear your helmet! I would have probably died without mine!

The first three quarters of the hike were ok. In some spots the trail was unkept and you have to go through so brush but not terrible. The trees are well marked as well and at a good interval. When you get to the section of White Oak and Courthouse road don't go in. The trail is non existent save for marked trees and you are wading through brush and spider webs the entire time.

The Lakeview trail (one, western trail ) is the easiest of the 3 lakeview trails. Really enjoyable. Start at the Algonquin camp.

Not impressed by this trail. A good bit of it is done along the power lines with no shade and tall grass. Make sure to treat your clothes and gear before you go and wear LOTS of bug spray - the flies and gnats are out of control.

Nice ride. Just enough challenges for a weekend rider. There are three separate trails here. Trails 1,2 and 3.

The trails were well marked and parking was available. One car costs $7 on the weekend to park. There is a lot of good lake views and plenty Forest.
