A beautiful and magical hike when there's several feet of snow and even more falling. Nothing too strenuous, but it's not noted that you have to park right of the highway and hike roughly an additional .5 mile to get to the trailhead. The snow was hard packed enough that hiking boots were sufficient, though many people had snowshoes. The little climb to get to the cave where the falls are was a bit slick without any kind of spikes, but still doable.

Love this little hike

Loved it! Easy and peaceful with beautiful views.

It’s a quick jaunt. Still a little muddy and slick in some places.

Great space for running. Ample room to allow passerby’s. Muddy in the shade, but enjoyable!

Pretty steep trail and very muddy which made it slippery.

Epic.. I’ve yet to find a more peaceful hike!!

The trail is hard packed all the way to the falls. Spikes come in handy for the final accent. Really cool icicles on the falls right now.

Great winter walk. We started out with snowshoes and after several yards we decided the trail was packed well enough to go without.

It’s an easy trail with a beautiful view. It’s amazing to see the arch and the beauty of the looming mountain faces. Worth doing! Wonderful hike when you only have limited tine to hike.

Great , fairly easy trail that gives great scenery and nice Canyon. Take Scout Cave trail in way back to make an afternoon out of it.

Easy flat trail, cool arch!

I'm not sure how to make this a loop hike. We started at the Paradise Rim trailhead and hiked to Scout Cave and ended up coming out I believe at Johnson Canyon in Snow Canyon. Luckily, we had a family member to come pick us up to take us back to our car. Would love to do again and figure out how to make it a loop hike. The trail was beautiful from Paradise Rim to Scout Cave, lots of fun lookouts. Hiking out from Scout Cave you're hiking in a wash, nothing much to see from there. Would do again, but would like to figure out the loop.

The trail was really pretty and easy, however when we went down, there were approximately 700 Boy Scouts coming up on a Friday night, as well as some other groups, and there aren’t really a ton of camp spots. So I recommend it for a day hike, but if you camp there, you may be sharing it with a lot of the Boy Scouts in Utah county. When I have more time I want to head up to silver glance lake above.

The arch is cool. Short and sweet. Saw a toad.

Still muddy. Gorgeous view. I expected natural rock formations as the furniture but it’s stacks of rocks in the form of chairs. A bit steep. Definitely a moderate trail.

trail is dry now. 2.14.18

So good! Awesome view and “seating” at the “living room”!!!

Great morning hike. Somewhat muddy and slick this time of year.

Beautiful covered in snow. Easy hike with spikes on (lots of ice). A bit windy too.

Awesome short hike. Beautiful scenery most everywhere. I hiked from the Spruces Campground for an extra long walk through the quiet forest. The last stretch is treacherous during an icy winter; bring boot spikes. Big difference during the winter? Hardly ANY traffic, especially early in the mornings.

Plenty of spider trails, choose wisely!

A good short hike that ends with a beautiful view in multiple directions. Be prepared to walk a ways up a snowy road to the trailhead if you go during the winter time.

Great trail. Some icy spots. Beautiful waterfall in a cave at the end.

Pretty hard hike. The snow gets deep in some areas. Yes... there’s snow the entire trail. We never did reach the summit. The map was trying to take us down a trail with nearly 3 feet of snow... we turned around. Probably a trail we’ll cross off the list and not return.

Easy hike with just snow boots. If you want to go all the way up to the waterfall, spikes would be a good idea. Went on a Sunday afternoon and it was not crowded at all. Very pretty and scenic.

Super muddy and slick today! More mud and snow than dirt. I wore Solomon hiking shoes and was fine, but regular sneakers will be soaking wet by the time your done. Gorgeous hike! Good workout.

This was a pretty leisurely hike. There was a lot of people and almost every group had a dog. You start on the chuckwalla trail and then you make it out to turtle wall. There is an arch and a rock formation that looks like a turtle!

Nice little trail with varied terrain. Took a 2 year old and he had fun climbing on the rocks and playing in the sand at the end of the canyon. Not a strenuous hike and not high adventure, but great for families with kids looking for a nice little hike.

Did this twice. Extremely busy. Too many people.
