Trails to try Map

Great trail if you like it as a good 30 minute exercise. Took my 6 month Shepard and he was tired at the end! Trail is a bit confusing but I followed recordings of others and it worked out great! New favorite routine

The lake was beautiful but it kinda sucked that you couldn’t go all the way around the lake, so you could get back to where you parked. You gotta go all the way back from where you came which was a “nice” little walk all the way back. Make sure you get back to your car by 8:00pm otherwise they might close the gates and lock your car in: all in all the scenery was awesome!!!!!

Been on this hike a few times, it's relatively easy but there are a couple of places that will get your heart rate up and are fairly steep.

Nice views and beautiful meadows. This area burned in the Ceder Fire but is growing back nicely. The old cabin burned down in the fire but there is a plaque as a tribute.

Great hike for kids, highly recommend.

Pretty, easy, and shaded walk!

It’s great for everyone! It’s paved so you can bring grandma and at 6 miles round trip you can run or go multiple times. The scenery is fantastic and it’s about 15 minutes from everywhere in San Diego!

Located directly across the street from the el cap trailhead this is a hidden gem! Perfect hike for kiddos! Beautiful lake views!

My 1st favorite place to hike. Every time we go flora and fauna is different and beautiful. Birding is great too.

This is a paved walking/running/biking trail. Great views. There are many ways in/out if you don't want to do the whole route.

Great place to work out. I’ve only run into 1 person. And the view is so pretty. I can workout t my comfort level and push myself without any concern. Plenty of shade and signs to stay on trails! I enjoy this place very much!!!

Great trail for my husband and I and our 1 year old dog. Loved the view of the lake! Most of the trail was easy but there was a couple inclines that affected my breathing. This was our first hike in a long time and really enjoyed it. We are in our mid 60s and would recommend to others.

Great for hiking or intermediate MTB. I was on my MTB and must have left the designated trail because the boulders and inclines had me pushing my ride Haha. this place has trails everywhere and I will definitely come back better prepared to spend the day exploring.

Great hike!! Was easy enough to take two dogs and a toddler. There was some parts about halfway that were a little rocky and steep.

Various hiking options and beautiful

It’s a nice place to run and go for a walk. Make sure to get in before sundown, they close early.

Nice easy trail. Best to go in the morning, as it can get warm. Even if the temperature reading is not high, the sun feels hotter b/c of the altitude gain compared to San Diego.
I gave it 3 stars b/c there is nothing remarkable about this trail, it's just a leisurely walk on flat pavement.

We took the trail up the mountain. Practically no one on the trail. Very pretty at the base of the hill with lots of oaks. The hike along the avocado grove was interesting. Very accurate trail maps at start. Plenty of parking!

Id rate this trail as easy although there were short sections that were steep and rocky. But those sections are too short to make this trail above and easy rating.

It was a Quiet but came across 30 people and 5 dogs. It was busy. Trail is mostly cleared and all of it can be ridden. Short vertical section on the west side. This is NOT lake Jennings. The map is clear what is what if you take the time to study it.

Beautiful beach walk. If you're looking to enjoy some sun and the sounds of the ocean waves, this is the perfect place. Coronado is simply beautiful!

A lot of shade and very green! There were many trails but a little confused on which way to go. My dog loved it.

It’s very relaxing

Nice view of Lake Jennings! More difficult than rated with several gains in elevation. Lots of rocks, sandy washouts on trail. Hiking poles would have been helpful. Only saw one other human!

We started off horsemill rd and did the 1.5 mile loop, then continued uphill for another 4 miles. great hike! awesome views well maintained trail.

Excelente hiking my dogs love walking here and beautiful view park is so nice and clean and they have water for dogs and horses

I love it! It was short but sweet. I took my pup with me and we both really enjoyed our hike!

Great views. I was the only on the trail - super peaceful.

Mikes Hiking Adventure made for a Great hike today at the Crestridge Ecological Reserve Trail. It was awesome. It was our first time there and it was just breath taking scenery all around us. The trail is very nice and maintained well. The trail doesn’t to many steep areas and the ones they have pretty easy. Take enough water as it gets warm after 8am. Great family place to hike.

I like to do this one for a run or walking with dogs/ mom
