Trails to try Map

What an amazing view!!!!! It was a great hike to the top!

Our favorite trail in seattle. Nice lake. It gets busy specially on weekends. Finding a parking spot is very challenging. Super dog friendly. Most of the dogs are off leash. Gets really muddy so wear proper footwear. Also you can hangout and chill on the cliffs. It has a few good spots.

I loved the hike and the view but it was very busy today and it's Monday

Easy hike definitely not moderate. Only downside was it was not well marked but we didn't have too much issue navigating. Muddy. Pretty falls.

A short, relatively easy hike with a big payoff! The views were better than we expected and Rattlesnake Lake was turquoise green from the top. Took us about 45 minutes up. Trail was in great condition, and there are pit toilets at the park below. The only negative part of the hike for me was the trial etiquette. Lots of music blaring (instead of enjoying the sounds of nature), litter on the trail, and loud hikers. People goof off at the top near the cliffs.

This hike wasn’t tough. It’s easy not moderate. Signage was really bad, went the wrong way twice. Nice stroll though. Wear boots...there is a good amount of mud and 2-3 washed out sections.

Quick and easy hike without hardly any elevation change. The falls at the end of this trail are pretty. It was moderately trafficked in the middle of the day. There are a couple spots where you need to cross the water, so be prepared for that.

So fun! And easy, great walk through the woods with abandoned cars along the way!

Super dog friendly! Just keep them leashed. Saw several today not leashed and owners not seeming to care that they disturbed other hikers. :/ The trail was clean, wide snd easy to navigate with a steady upward incline nearly 95% of the time. Great views from the ledge! A bit cloudy today with slight snow flurries, but it went away quickly leaving a partial view of Mt Si. Would certainly visit this trail again!

very easy hike with such a gorgeous waterfall at the end. definitely worth the free hours in and out. definitely must on spots close to the falls.

Good workout on this trail today. Muddy in a few spots but overall good. You’ll face your fears on the bridge.

I didn’t find snow on my way to the view points today, make sure to hit the trail early

Hiked up the ledge and to east point yesterday, spikes would have been helpful however I did it without. You can get by without just a little slippery towards the end. Great views and met some cool people along the way.

It was busy trail, but very green and lush. Nice stream. Some people were not happy sharing the trail with other dogs and seemed to be anoyed . Some were nice. Seems to be a populated suburban area and butted up to a housing development.

It was a gorgeous day to be up there. From Snowqualmie it’s about 10-11 miles round trip but it’s not too bad and the elevation gain is mostly gradual. Poles are extremely help and for the best view bring snowshoes because about a mile past the Grand viewpoint is a clear cut that you can explore, it has a view of Rainier as well.

Great trail be prepared for a hike. Uphill. The scenery is amazing when u get to the top!

Beautiful day!!!

Fun hike, go early to avoid massive crowding at the top..

This hike was great if you want to be ensconced in the beautiful trees of the PNW. Beautiful, Easy trail with some descent signs so didn’t get lost. The trail is rated as moderate but I would say it is on the easier side. (And I am not an expert hiker) We did have to cross the creek on a log...probably the most difficult part, but you can just cross easily if you don’t mind getting a bit wet.

amazing views, snow is still present at the top of the trail. I hiked it with plain boots and no spikes or poles we're needed.

Good hike, good view. Loved the snow and elevation.

Awesome trail! Still very icy at the top, lots of opportunities to slip and fall, so be careful and bring poles and microspikes! View at the ledge is absolutely stunning, makes the trek up well worth it.

Beautiful day hike walking on a rolling widened trail through the evergreen forest. The falls at the end were well worth the trip. Picturesque picnic spot at the falls as well.

Cute and fairly short trail near Seattle. Perfect on this cloudy Sunday afternoon.
Be aware of the creek to pass before the waterfall. Either you have to cross a log that’s slippery or to get your feet soaked in the water. It was difficult with three small dogs, but managed to do it.

Some nice views on the trail itself of the Olympics as you're coming up. You can catch a view of Rainier at the top but it's obscured partially by some trees. The viewpoint is a pile of rocks and a chain link fence - you can see Seattle and some of the Cascades, but the view is a little limited. Nice walk through the woods though!

Relatively easy hiking, lots of smaller loops and side trails off the main one, interesting history woven into the experience- not too crowded.

the trail is VERY icy right now. lot of people slipping and falling- be prepared and careful!!

It's the easiest to get to the falls if you stayed on the main path of what looks like an access road for the most part. Sections of the trail are washed, so bring some hiking shoes... the view of the falls was worth the mud patches.

Someone enlighten me. We did this last weekend and had no idea where to go when the trail split. We wanted to see the view but after already doing 5 miles and no end insight, I had to turn around. My 3 kiddos were DONE! I didn’t have service so I had no way to navigate. Any tips? I want to try again!!

Trail was confusing because it had two trails that led to the waterfall, trail was super muddy as well. Also didn’t have a designated path in the beginning so a little hard to find, other than that very beautiful scenes and waterfall!
