Fun hike close to home. There were some steep hills that work your calves. We took our dogs and ran into quite a few people with dogs. Started this hike about 2 and it was moderately populated. There was a little bit of water in the waterfall.

Beautiful view when you get to the top. Definitely worth the hike.

I love this hike, but prefer to do it during the week (early) as it gets very, very busy! I never get tired of the view from the ledge.

I’m visiting Washington so I decided to drive around Seattle in search of scenic views. I saw pictures of this place online and decided to check it out. Definitely a nice park and the view of Puget Sound is nice at sunset. Had the chance to see the train pass under the bridge so that was cool. Nice place to have a bonfire and relax.

Easy trail. Plenty of parking today at 930AM. Variety of hikers. Lots of people (as is the case with the influx of people to Seattle). Outstanding view.

So nice to meander along the Coal Creek looking for little babbling smallerfalls and enjoying the coolness of the little valley. Up to Primrose Loop and back to the main path is nice to get an out-of-city experience in the shade, while staying within the city limits. Bonus points for the gorgeous and plentiful creek bridges all smelling freshly of oil and pine:

The falls are beautiful.

But this used to be a place you could sit by the water at the end of the trail and have a picnic. now they have it all caged off.

Not scenic until you reach the top. Good hike and the view at the top is worth it, but there are much better hiking destinations in Washington.

This was lovely. The views were amazing. Fun to do with the kids. Would do it again!!

Such a great hike with incredible views at the top!

HEAVY TRAFFIC!!! A lot of people on this hike and a lot of novice hikers so be cautious, but pretty easy accent couple steep switch backs but all in all took an hour up and an hour down at slow easy pace! Would recommend for dates or just a quick day hike.

The trail leading down to the river was relatively easy, but very overgrown with blackberries in spots. We had to beat our way through with sticks to avoid getting poked and scratched! There are also a couple of areas in which you'll need to be prepared to climb over a log jam or two. At first glance it looks impossible, but once you start climbing over the logs you can find your footing.

In the end I'd say it was pretty worth it considering that there is a really nice sand bar and swimming hole at the finish line. You just need to be sure to walk far enough North along the river bar in order to get to it.

Enjoy ;-D!

Very beautiful view at the top!❤️

Easy hike with way too many people. The trail was swarming with people at 7:20am on a Wednesday morning.

Much of the trail follows a beautiful stream through relatively dense woods and ferns. The trail is both long and attractive, especially considering its proximity to the city.

This was my boyfriend & I’s first hike & it couldn’t have been more perfect. A moderate steep uphill hike to the beautiful breathtaking top! Some parts of the trail is tricky as this is mostly wooded & you are climbing over tree stumps and rocks- but for the most part- easy. The trail is roomy and clean. I TOTALLY recommend swimming in the lake after as it isn’t too crowded. A beautiful day hike and then a refreshing swim in the crystal clear river! Definitely doing this one again. ❤️

great walk with the dog definitely had some switchbacks but I was able to make it without a problem

Good for a morning walk with a buddy! A little anti-climatic at the turn around, but interpretive signs were pretty interesting. I’d do it again.

Awesome hike but it is very crowded and we hardly found parking spot. We came on Sunday.

Solid hike that was moderately difficult. Take breaks if you need to pace yourself but otherwise this isn’t a very challenging hike for some solid views that make it worthwhile.

Trail is fine but can be steep.

Awesome hike, Awesome views of the lake. I will definitely come again!

Great hike and awesome views. A bit rocky in places so make sure you have good footwear. Dropping one star because it was so popular and very busy (but, we went at about 1pm). There’s a lake nearby that’s awesome. Again, it’s really busy so get there early because parking fills up fast!

Very much enjoyed the hike by far the best is the second mile and 1/2 past the warning signs there's some nice spots in the river to be able to swim and the tunnels were pretty amazing!

It was a very nice but there were no signs or warnings of the difficulty of hike. The way down was fine but the incline coming back up was horrible. If you’re not in shape or don’t have water with you I wouldn’t hike down. You can see the waterfall without doing the hike down.

Easy to navigate trail, extremely crowded on the weekends so if you’re not up to that then I suggest going on a weekday. The trail down to the water isn’t bad, but going back up may elevate your heart rate a bit! The water is beautiful and my boyfriend went swimming in there. Lots of people brought rafts or tubes.

The trail is clean and easy but people leave their trash there. There was a pile of trash by a tree. Diapers, cigaret butts and bags of dog poop everywhere. What is going on?

Beautiful forested path along a creek. Some elevation. Dog friendly.

Because it’s an easy hike, it’s very crowded. I was there at 7:00 AM and there was a good amount of people on trail.

Went there during the week after work, it’s an easy hike but was too crowded
