Love this trail! Visited after Christmas, during the government shutdown. Very popular trail, the parking lot was crowded on a cold day and I encountered probably 15 other hikers on the trail itself. The ledges are stunning and the trail runs both above and below them. The scenic overlook is beautiful. The trail is hilly and rocky in a few places. Even with recent rain and melted snow, the trail was not muddy. I did see people exploring off trail and climbing on and in the ledges, even though signs advise against it. Connects to other area trails as well.

Very fun moderate path. Struggled a bit with bad signage but had a great time.

A great trail, fun for the whole family, including dogs! We took the time to explore off of the trail and do some scrambling in between cracks in the ledges.

Our family really enjoyed this walk. Absolutely beautiful scenery and the seven and nine year olds loved climbing and adventuring!

Went with a group ranging in ages 7-70. Great hike for everyone with so many rocks to clamber over and through or stay on the main trail. Also a beautiful view.

Nice trail that can get a little muddy (nothing wrong with that) that wasn't very busy at all.

It's pretty easy to do. The views are pretty crazy and you can do some exploring on some of the features. be careful though, not all of the rocks are perfectly set.

Love this trail, will definitely be back. Very wet though in spring. The campsites are great, awesome views.

Kind of a busy trail, especially for this time of year, parking lot was full. Easier to follow than people are saying here.

Very busy trail, especially for this time of year. Decent campsites, trail wasn't as hard to follow as people are saying here. The night trek in 2 miles was a tad difficult but daytime had no trouble.

The trails are good and there is an abundance of water. There are way more trails then what are shown on alltrails.

Nice forrest surrounding. Very flat, lots of trail runners. Large parking area and restrooms. Caves currently closed for nesting bats. Great fall foliage views from overlook.

One of my favorites. Lots of good elevation changes.

Great trail for a quick hike and the firetower was fun.

Hiked this overnight on 10/13/18-10/14/18. I saw more hikers than expected, but not a ton. The already made campsites were nice. We camped by Jack's Run Creek and the water flow was pretty good. We got a bit turned around about halfway back the loop and got into some beaver damn areas. If you do the same, you've gone just a bit too far if you take the south route where the trail splits. Anyway, very nice trail but be mindful of where you're going and look for trial markers on the trees.

Sooooo cool and surprising!

Love this trail great hike , only issue I had that it was really easy to go off trail . In the beginning there’s no markers so you have to really be carful. Other than no markers nice trail .

Well marked trail with lots in a short hike. Waterfall, river, and great rock formations and springs.

Started at Kentuck Campground (very close by). Trail was relatively muddy a d slick but well marked. The sections which are distant from the river are unremarkable. The portion along the river and Cucumber Falls make the trek worthwhile. I did the entire trail and cut through town, across the river on the Graet Allegheny Passage trail and got back on the trail to return to my campsite. That worked well but last mile was a lungbuster.

Overnight 10/4 at Cool run and had the whole trail to myself. Water flow was good. The solitude was awesome but parts of the trail were very hard to follow. I was lucky to have the GPS map downloaded on my phone and had to use it backtracking to the main trail numerous times. Trail blazing was on and off so don't entirely count on it.

Intense trail! Lots of hills and can be a bit muddy. Definently a workout. I started at the top of kendall hills and made my way down to the loop which is 3.15 miles. Tends to line the road a bit but the road isn't very busy. Recommend if you want a workout. Took me and my dog about an hour walking at a moderate pace. There is also a short cut to make it a bit shorter.

great hike.

Pretty trail along the river. The waterfall was pretty underwhelming when we went but I imagine it would be prettier in the spring or after a huge rain storm. Agree that it was moderate. There were spots with elevation change and scrambling over rocks, but nothing too difficult.

Good workout! Lots of great incline.

overnighted 9/18 and had the place to myself.

great hike! probably more moderate than hard, but there was a bit of up and down. fairly lightly traveled as well...only came across two other groups even on a weekend.

This one always kicks my butt! Several hills and steps in this one, so if you’re looking for a cardio intensive hike, this is for you. Heavily used by trail runners as well.
