Great views and well maintained path. River was great to dip hands and feet in to cool down.

Unfortunately was really crowded on a warm August day which can be a downer when other people’s loud conversations and kids throwing rocks into the river is not the main point of going into nature.

Other than the too-many-people

A tough hike and dangerous spent the night with Olive my Welsh terrier definitely would like to do again the views spectacular

The hike its self is just ok, but the glimpses of aqua water make it well worth it. There is a ferry at the end of the trail that will bring you back to the parking lot. I found it hard to get info on it. It departs from the end of the trail twice a day 8:00am and 3:00pm. It was $10 cash and allowed dogs, this was the highlight of the hike for me.

Nice Sunday Hike!
Lots of people of friendly people!

It was beautiful!

Be aware of potholes, drive carefully and arrive early for a parking spot. Did the hike on Saturday morning and some sections were very icy, I fell even with trekking poles and saw a lady fall hard luckily she was ok. Just be careful and take your time, some scrambling at the top but well worth it. The day was clear and gorgeous views of Baker and Rainier.

Very heavily trafficked, and slick in the lake basin, but over all very beautiful. Excellent trail maintenance and no snow yet.

Beautiful day on Saturday the 13th on the mountain. At the top there was some ice on boulders that was difficult to navigate, a lot of people fell and one hit his head on the rock pretty hard. Be careful, bring spikes and poles, but definitely check it out!

Hiked on October 13th with my boyfriend. We are in pretty good shape and it took us 10:38 to do 18.1 miles (that includes around 45 minutes of break time). We drove to snow lake and booked a shuttle to the other trailhead. It was 20 per person and totally worth it (just Google enchantments shuttle it's called the loop) I recorded 18.1 with my GPS but I should note we took some shortcuts

Easily the most beautiful hike I've done! Golden larches, clear skies, and a bit of snow. I'm still in awe.

here are my tips:
- pack light. there's plenty of water on the trail so bring maybe 1 liter and just filter the rest
- download gps map before. there is no signal and some parts of the trail are not obvious
- bring head lamps as daylight is getting shorter and shorter!
- bring microspikes for the ascent of asgard- it was icy!
- if you're in good shape you can afford to take more breaks than we did! we started at 6:30 (in the dark) and ended around 5 ish (still light) we had heard horror stories of ppl wandering back around 10:30pm so we tried to keep a good pace but ultimately found ourselves way ahead of schedule
-enjoy!!!!!

Always a treasure to hike and camp. Remember to check the weather to pack appropriately and always carry a map.

Great hike with some amazing view points and beautiful lakes!!!

Enjoyable hike in perfect fall conditions. Started hiking around 10am with air temperature just above freezing so dress appropriately. The trail is in good condition but lacks any signage so be sure to follow the directions, particularly bearing to the right at the T. Arrived at the ridge around noon.

There are not much in the way of views on the trail to the pass but once you reach the ridge the views are magnificent. The trail to Navaho Peak is steep but well worth the extra effort, Rainier and Adams were both clearly visible.

Be aware, modern firearm hunting season is now open and there were hunters walking on the trail during my return. I wore my orange jacket and hat to ensure I was visible.

An easy going hike for some exercise

Nice hike. Great payoff. Tracked it as 5.7 miles not 4.8. 3-4 hours total. Get there early.

Surreal, breathtaking, incredible hike!!

Amazing views! Glacier peak, vibrant lake’s color and even the fall’s colors.
It’s a difficult and steep hike but completely doable. (I don’t recommend it for families though).
The road to get to the trailhead isn’t too bad, some small potholes.

Loved doing this trail in early October! Such a beautiful time of year here. The bridge for waterfall viewing was magic. The trail took us about 2 hrs out and back, and was much steeper than I had imagined, but a good workout.

Easy and beautiful hike!

Nice views overall. Scores high on access from the city; easy access also meant there were tons of people.

Couple sites on the way to camp over night
Severe pot holes
Not much scenery on the way up
Great trail wide and well maintained

kids loved it :)

Compared to most hikes, this one is a bit boring and gets incredibly busy. Too busy. It’s like visiting an outdoor mall at Christmas. The view is nice, but there are better hikes with more to see and less people.

Larch madness is happening in the enchantments! Perfect timing and it happened by accident really. I was planning on camping with a permit but decided halfway through to partner up with two other hikers (made the trip a lot better) there is no cell phone service for ATT on the trail even thought the coverage map extends up to upper snow lake. Started at Stuart lake trailhead (asked for a ride from some hikers who were heading that way, parking my car at snow lake trailhead. Asgard’s pass was amazing plus the views of mount Stuart’s north face, some ice at the top requiring traction devices. The lakes, trees, mountains, absolutely amazing. Never knew something so beautiful existed. You must see it to believe it and you will remember it forever. The hike is great for the first 10 miles but after that, the descent is pretty tough on the knees. I had all my camping gear with me and did the full 20 in 15 hours but it was worth the slow pace, I wanted to enjoy the view and not just rush through it.

Not the most strenuous hike out there but unbelievable lake and surrounding mountain views!!! Circled around the lake a few times since it was so stunning

Like it!

love ..easy hike loved the views

We did this hike right after climbing Mt Pilchuck. It was a well marked trail, It was around 11am and there was a good amount of people on the trail. It is a very easy trail for beginners. The views of the lake are really pretty and worth stopping by for a short hike. The road to this parking lot was very bumpy, we had a truck so we were alright.

I loved this trail! Beautiful around every curve.

This was our first hike in Washington during our vacay. We started at around 7:30am, the parking lot was pretty empty. The weather was great and the trail was dry so no chances of slipping on rocks. The trail was surprisingly easy, it might of been because we were really excited to start our week of multiple hikes. We ended up taking only 2 hours out and back to complete the hike. there is a good amount of rock scramble to the top, We stopped at the summit to eat and take photos but it was heavily trafficked going the way down. I suggest going earlier if you want to beat the crowds. I would recommend doing this hike! I also saw doggies the size of our roommates cat complete the hike so its deff dog friendly.

I didn't like it. It is way too rocky and poorly marked. Plus, there was a billion people on the trail. But, Coeurdalene is beautiful and this is very close to the lodge.
