one of the best hikes I've ever done. Beautiful.

Great place to go to with dog (especially if they like to swim)!

A nice walk with an amazing view for almost all the way. although it is a short trail, there are tons of foot paths to be explored, you could spend days doing it. if you don't mind pulling up a rock it is a lovely spot of a picnic. the oven and rock features make it an amazing place for photos, scenery painting or insperation. Definitely a place I will keep going back to!

The trail is overgrown but a nice hike .The decent to the bottom of the falls I would definitely not rate as easy .Moderate to hard is more accurate but to the view of the falls is pretty easy ,muddy and alot of downed trees though. Very easy to get turned around and take the wrong trail out as I did but you just walk the Browns Mountain road back down to the car and still beautiful

Incredible and unique coastal views. Paths were slightly wet but generally very easy.

This is one of my favourite trails in Nova Scotia. A good challenge, nice features, beautiful views. It is near Wolfville, so pick up a light lunch or enjoy a great dinner.

Love the view!

beautiful day on the trail today. did it in 1h40 and was walking with a fast pace. most scenic views are to the right on the first half of the trail. will definitely be back

Nice 2 hour and 15 minute hike but quite frequent encounters on this loop.

Finding the trail head wasn't too difficult however, there isn't a lot of parking and if you are driving too quickly you may miss it. Otherwise, this is a beautiful oceanside trail with magnificent vistas and a lovely distance view of Peggy's Cove and the lighthouse to the west.

An easy walk up an old road to an old lighthouse. Hard to get good pictures of the lighthouse as there is a working station attached to it. There's parking for a few cars at the trailhead. Lovely ocean views and not a very busy trail!

Lovely trail and amazing seaside views.. beach walk is bit confusing but nice little challenge and the app work great to keep you on track!!

We loved this trail - the Great Oak Loop was a great little hike with our 3 year old! Lots of spots to stop and rest, take in the view and play in the lake.

Awesome hike. Views were spectacular!

Hiked this and loved it. Previous comments about path being overgrown are bang on. In fact on north side, path is almost impassable in places - so do this side first or prepare for a demoralising second half!

Best Nova Scotia hike I’ve done to date! Wear suitable hiking shoes, as it can get rocky. Hardest part is the distance, but still not a very difficult hike. Beautiful views that make it worth the trip. There’s a beach you can access (via a piece of rope) not too far from the summit. Good place to go rock hounding for quartz! Strongly recommend if you’re east coast Canada

Nice beach and picnic area. The loop trail is not well marked and confusing. This park has an off leash dog area from October to June. I was there in September and annoyed to find someone with 2 dogs off-leash. He did not even have a leash with him. This is most annoying for those of us who don't want to be walking near off-leash dogs. I suspect the off-leash rules which are clearly posted are not enforced. The off-leash area is the main pathway to the beach which means that it cannot be easily avoided by those who don't want to be around dogs - very poor design of off-leash area.

Beautiful hiking trail. Great biking trail too!

This was only my second hike ever, parts were challenging, but overall great trail and view at the top. Can’t wait to try the rest of the loops!

Tiny parking lot with room for 4 or 5 cars, if you're driving west and pass Peggy's Cove you've gone too far! Great alternative to the crowds at Peggy's Cove. Beautiful oceanside walk. Dog friendly. Very sunny trail, not much shade. Easy footing.

Enjoyable hike. The bottom paths are wider and flatter than the trails to the lakes. There are plenty of side paths to get yourself turned around. Very little in the way of trail marking but the paths are pretty easy to follow. The app was helpful, but you may lose cell reception at the far end of the trail.

The trail was quite clean with no litter and only a few rusted artifacts. I will be coming back.

Stunning! Beautiful views and flowers. Easy to miss the small parking lots but you may see cars parked along the road. :)

Excellent hike, not too hard and awesome view at the end. Also opportunity to take side trail to little split and do some rick hunting in beach or just enjoy walking on a beach where later 40-45 feet of water is.

Great views good hike busy trail

Pretty easy, very overgrown and muddy though.... pretty falls at the end of it
