Great early winter Trek. First measurable snowfall of the season. 1 to 2 inches. Blue trail. Beautiful!

Nice trail. We did the white trail with our dogs. accidentally started off in the wrong direction but took a narrow linking trail to get on track. Be careful of holes and sticks hidden under the oak leaves. We will be back but please leave a garbage can in the parking lot for those of us who bag our dog poop. there was some poop on the trail, probably left by people who know there isn't a can.

trails are fine but not too exciting. large chunks of the trail are through parking lots, playgrounds, or picnic areas. trails were very muddy but we'll maintained. lacks view points or points of interest, just a walk around the lake. good for what it is but probably won't be back.

took 2 hours with kids, seemed a little longer than 3.6 miles. not sure how they measured all the counters of the lake.

The tower has been closed permanently. There were some beautiful look outs on this hike.

Great views and very challenging for being partially blind.

My dog loves this trail! It’s lightly trafficked and great practice for people who want to work up to hard hikes. My phone said it was closer to 5 Miles the whole way around the lake. Scenic views of the lake in fall and great shade in the summer. Def bring bug spray and a hat. Easy trail at the water’s edge with just a few spots that require light feet. If you’re only doing half the trail, there’s more wildlife on the northern side.

Very crowded on weekends, the trail head is very close to the popular beach. This trail is also not suitable for children with uneven terrain with many drop offs. I recommend Potholes Trail (still tough) to get up to see Balanced Rock and Devil's Doorway.

Great little hike with a great view. This is more like a moderate trail vs hard. I think it may be labeled as hard due to the rocks you climb up. Go early to truly enjoy. We went at a little before 9 am and it was fine but on our way back to the parking lot (after a bit more hiking) it was starting to get busy (around 10:30). Also greeter people in your pics if you go early :)

Very nice

Wonderful day hike. Wear hard sole shoes to help navigate the rocks. it's a shared path with bikers so be prepared to move out if the way.

Great trail, wide paths, nicely maintained. I’ve been here several different weekends and it is not very crowded. A number of different loop lengths that intersect. We usually end up doing the blue trail and then switching to green to make up a ~6.5 mike loop.

Nice wide trails, dog friendly (please pick up after them) great views and plenty of wild life. Moderate terrain. Only downfall for me is no dogs allowed on the trails in winter when cross country skiing is going on. Too bad for me:(

love the view. can't get enough.

Here usually once a week in spring through fall with our pups. Great trail and easy although there are some spots a little tricky. Prefer going during the week as not so crowded. Make sure to bring skeeter and tick repellent for yourself and pups.

Challenging trail with beautiful views.

Nice steep hills. Outer loop of the trail is not maintained. I’m 5’8 and the weeds were taller than me. Easy trail for a warm up

Nice steep hike, good for some off trail climbing. Good challenge for all ages and dogs, beautiful views!

Strenuous but a great hike, both up and down. It’s longer and steeper than you think!

Great trail difficult but worth the time you can always come down the easy way

A family friendly trail! Not meant to be a real challenge. Some rewarding views. Walking along the lake is pleasant. Worth the visit! Just wish the tower was accessible

This trail is short but challenging. Very cool rock formations.

Great hike, excellent activity, great view of the lake once at the top. Be ready for some heavy duty climb to the top!! Take water and snacks.

loved this climb. gorgeous rocks create an engineering marvel of stairs. be prepared and be safe. it's a busy trail and courtesy makes it enjoyable.

The trail itself is very challenging and wonderfully rustic. From an aesthetic point, it’s great! I had a hard time finding the loop and ended up turning around because the mosquitos were absolutely awful. I even sprayed myself on the trail but nothing worked. I would love to try and explore this trail some more, but the bugs might keep me away

Amazing views of the lake. My 4, 6, and 9 year did the whole thing. It is harder coming down than going up.

Great climb and we'll maintained. Definitely worth the stop!

Great workout. Steep hills are challenging.

No doubt a bit steep (and very narrow spaces at points), but once you hit the top the view is absolutely gorgeous.

Awesome! Super steep start but worth the effort. Amazing views. We did tumbling rocks on the way back. Neat as well.

Wow, went up this with my wife without doing research ahead of time. Amazing trail but holy cow were we not physically ready. Did it anyway and it was worth it.
