Really awesome trail. Went on a clear day and not crowded at all. Take the map that you get from the Forest Rangers as the hike is not clearly marked in certain areas. Highly recommend

Loved every step up and down! So much beauty all around and the view at the top breathtaking!!!! Hit that dome you won’t regret it!

AMAZING!!!

Just as interesting as Bumpass Hell, but without the crowds.

Awesome trail, but the trailhead is not where it is shown here. $8 admission to the park, and use their maps.

Did this in 2016. Had to take an alternative route as the main trail was closed for renovations

This was a great hike. My first hike in a while. I was a bit tired going up but had ample rest in between. I hiked this in March on a Saturday and there were quite a few groups hiking this trail. There was also a bit of snow on the ground and would recommend snow or waterproof hiking shoes with a good grip. Also, check the current US snow cover weather. We witnessed a girl that broke her ankle coming down and had to get airlifted because she wasn’t wearing the proper shoes. Also the snow started to melt late afternoon. Even with my non-waterproof hiking shoes I glided about 10 times. Careful. I would definitely hike this trail again. I love it great views all around.

Beautiful trail, pretty shaded. The fall is absolutely gorgeous, hiking to the falls is almost uphill the entire way but the trail is well maintained with resting benches if needed. Took my dog and she did great :)

We hiked to the dome and it did not disappoint!! The hike was a challenge but worth every second! We will be doing this again soon .... before it gets too warm!

Amazing hike the last little bit is the hardest but the views... breath taking

One of the best trails I’ve visited. Highly recommend! We went early April and the conditions were great.

Been up this trail several times in my life - it’s hard but so worth it! Must climb the dome at the end!!

Breath taking views. Up was hell down was merciful. Sore the next day, but very doable for the average in shapeish person.

Great hike. Did this two days ago with my dog after a snow storm the night before.

Beautiful and awe inspiring! The waterfalls were really flowing with all the melted snow. It also lightly snowed during our hike which created a storybook magical scene. The trail was pretty well kept as well so you could focus on the beauty around you. 10/10 would visit again

Awesome hike! My husband and I had so much fun, counted over a thousand salamanders along the way. Moderate hike, definitely don’t run, haha I fell but luckily I didn’t fall off the cliff

Lovely walk in the cool months. Not sure what is “moderate” about it as it is nearly completely level and you can walk as far or as little as you want.
Bring pepper spray as we encountered two dogs barking threateningly at us with no owner nearby. I must guess they were from some house on the ridge top.
Nice ferny cliffs with native wildflowers.

Snow has the road to Falls rather challenging to say the least. Lots of deep snow ... no clearance. hard ... need a 4x4 and good tires!

This is my favorite hike so far. I would do this again.

FYI, I would rate this on the harder end of the moderate scale - the climb can get pretty steep for some extended sections. The views are worth it though. Make sure to bring some cash as you do have to pay for parking when you get in to the park.

For Biking I suggest driving up past Magalia and Desabla reservoir to Powelton Road and biking the Hendrix flume which is fairly level and has some exceptional views. Some of the trail is narrow so keep good control of your bike and have fun!

We started at the Brandy Creek Trailhead not really knowing much about this trail. The gravel road to the left of the trailhead will take you to the Brandy Creek Falls trail/parking lot, but starting where we started adds roughly 4 miles to your trip & is a beautiful hike! You will eventually come to the road from the trail, turn right & continue up the road until you see the Brandy Creek Trail sign that continues off the road, or choose to hike the road at this point & it will still lead you to the falls parking area! Great hike to take your dog but there are lots of ticks, so make sure to double check when your done :)

The trail is smooth and well maintained. It was chilly but protected from the wind. It was absolutely gorgeous and we’ll certainly do it again! BTW it’s pretty much all uphill on the way in. But we did the 1.5 miles in 33 minutes with plenty of stops for pictures :)

Excellent trail, a few challenging hills, and great waterfall at the end. Well maintained. Took a 2-year-old in a stroller, there are a few spots where that becomes difficult, but nothing impossible.

According to the sign at the trailhead, this trail is closer to 3.5 miles, but it’s worth it! We went on a Sunday morning and the trail was deserted. Well maintained, well marked, and beautiful the whole way

Snowshoed this as a loop cutting across the Jumbles to the road and back. Peacefully follows a creek on the way up before making a slightly more aggressive climb towards ridge above the lake area. Decided to climb partway up the ridge leading to the crags above to a small rock formation with great views of Shasta in the distance. Turned back towards the lake area from there due to high winds and unstable terrain. Fun trek through the snowcovered rocks in the jumbles area back to the road, and after spending some time on the south side of Lassen, it was refreshing to see tracks reflect good trail etiquette.

My friend visiting the area said this beach was straight out of a Lovecraftian novel. Definitely spooky, but beautiful. Great place to chill and make art in the sand. Water looks dark.

Great hike, stunning falls!

This place is magical!
