Very good trail and clearly marked, though it is quite rocky near the top. I started with the blue dot trail and went down the red dot trail; I'm glad I did because the reverse would have been much harder. Hiking boots/shoes are recommended as well as poles.

Great hike. Go up the Red dot (I would rate this as hard) and down the blue dot (moderate). After the waterfall the trail turns into the white dot . Overall it’s a very rocky trail so I highly recommend hiking boots.

Enjoyed the hike and scenary. Use red dot trail to go up and blue trail to come down. Beautiful water falls on blue trail. At the end of blue trail, take white trail [10 minutes] to reach parking lot. Hiking shoes and poles recommend for people who have knee or ankle problems. Continuous elevation.

Great trail! My wife and I had a great day this past Sunday. Met a lot of nice people on the trail. It's definitely a continuous climb to the top, but worth the view.

Great scramble. Amazing views from the top.

AllTrails has this hike at 5.8 but when we tracked it using AllTrails we came up with 7. This is a solid moderate to low end difficult and is a great trip thru nature. We came across some deer and lots of salamanders and toads. Our Jack Russell Piper enjoyed toying with the roads immensely. Some of the trail is overgrown but we opted for hiking pants so ticks were not an issue. We did douse ourselves in bug spray and that seemed to be a wise decision. It got crowded at Sunfish Pond but that’s to be expected as it really is quite beautiful.

Amazing! Beautiful natural waterfalls.

It's a really beautiful trail. Plenty of parking. There was a bear sign but I didn't see any. Lots of pretty birds. I spotted some deer. Trails are marked properly. Def look at the map on the notice board before you go so you know which trail you're following. It said on average it takes 35 minutes to do 1 mile. I was able to complete the whole 6.7 miles in an hour. No, I wasn't running but it wasn't difficult. The first 15 minutes, you feel it. definitely needed water. after that it was pretty easy, specially towards the end when you're going downhill. can't wait to go back when the trees change colors.

beautiful hike

Great day hike or trail run. Plenty of other trails connecting to make hike more challenging if desired.

Steep incline. The trailhead marker looks like the flag of Japan

I enjoyed my hike on this trail, but it should be listed as hard, not moderate. There were people old and young on the trail but it’s a very steep climb and it is strenuous. The trail is covered mostly in rocks so I had to focus on my steps at all times and the incline no joke. I loved the challenge but didn’t expect it.

Beautiful trails for riding. We are so grateful to have access to this public park! Thank you

Beautiful trail. Completed this and the falls loop. Go see the falls, they are pretty gnarley.

Absolutely beautiful and definitely on the harder side which was fun!...

Not dog friendly. Too steep and rocky for them. And if you take the red dot trail - it’s hard not moderate. The prettiest part is right off the blue trail.

Spectacular hike. Perfect length and difficulty for our family. The kids loved the rock scrambling portion of the hike. It was challenging but totally doable for the 11 and 8yos. And me!

This was an amazing hike with beautiful waterfalls. We were even able to climb under a few and feel the cascading mountain water. Great trail for the family and our dog.

Logged 5.21 miles on this trail—lots of greenery, big rocks, and very well marked. Our dog loved it!

Pretty trail, saw lots of wild life (deer, rat snake, frogs, toads). Wasn’t over populated which was nice. Easy enough for dogs and children. Wouldn’t rate it as moderate for the experienced hiker. Did the longer outside loop, well worth it.

Lovely hike! You pass a ton of cascades and sunfish pond is really nice. It felt like we walked on pointy rocks for over a mile, so make sure you wear appropriate shoes for that. And if you take the blue and green trails there, there are multiple creek crossings which were a little tricky. I ended up with 1 wet foot and wish I'd worn different shoes.

I can’t imagine a more scenic waterfall hike! You can easily cut this hike in half and spend time at night each fall soaking in the beauty. The west side from Mohawk to Erie and back can be done in a few hours.

I really enjoyed this hike. I loved being fully immersed by nature. I saw lots of birds, squirrels, and a small deer. It was quite steep in some areas, and very rocky. The trails got pretty confusing at some points, but that just added to the adventure. I was able to use this app to help me out when I was stuck. My phone recorded closer to 6 miles, not 6.7. Overall, it was a lovely afternoon.

Absolutely beautiful!! Gave us a good work out and our dog loved it!

Amazing view and some area hard to cross, but we did this trail with our kids so proud of them
