Great hike! Connected Ledges, Lake, and Salt Run Trails for 9.5 miles. The Ledges trail had a lot of interesting geology!

Always like it!

very fun and beautiful trail. the falls are beautiful to see at any time of year. trail has multiple access points to enter to play in/Wade in the river. most times we have visited we were able to watch great blue harons fishing.

this trail is so pretty, wildflowers and wildlife everywhere, neat rocks, small cave and neat boardwalk trail. dog friendly/kid friendly.

Great trail for all levels of experience. The trail markings are a little confusing. We figured out that the Stanford trail splits off into the Brandywine trail and were fine from there. Has a decent incline for a quick trail. The falls really were gorgeous. You take a nice boardwalk/stairs down to two different observation decks. There are signs not to climb down to the water but several people were down there so we climbed down too. It was slippery and I fell down once but my goodness you can’t beat the view.
Everything was very well maintained. The bathrooms were clean and eco-friendly. There were trail maps and state park brochures for taking. We were very impressed.

Good 4 mile trail. Some hills, 1 or 2 river crossings

This is a great trail for running and hiking. It is mostly flat and doesn't have many roots or big rocks. It's best to go to the left down the big hill first so you don't have to hike a big hill at the end. The trail is near a road for a little bit but you quickly lose it. Not very crowded and it is very shady and cool. Highly recommend for running.

Great hills to climb for a nice workout for a beginner.

Loved adding connecter trails which made it much more challenging. Very few other people which can be refreshing! Pretty dry but the pine trees still smelled amazing. Cannot wait to revisit and switch up adding other trails and seeing what changes of seasons will bring!

First time and loved it. Took a couple of hundred pictures and finished in 2-1/2 hours. Well maintained trail.

Great, well marked trail with lots of shade and moderate elevation changes. We parked at Kendall lake and took a connecting trail that parallels the main road to get to the trail head. There is a nice little loop around Kendall lake as well where a good amount of people were fishing and picnicking.

This is one of my favorites in the CVNP. It’s never busy, is fairly remote, and takes you through several different ecosystems. It’s great for dogs too.

Nice hike. I met a group of volunteers who maintain and cleared the trail :) which was very nice. Signs are a bit confusing at times - no biggy. Love the trail and will come back.

We enjoyed this trail August 28th and apart from the section that ran alongside the Ohio Turnpike, really enjoyed the walk. Most of it under the trees on winding paths. Not as popular as the towpath where there are a number of bikers, we only met a few fellow hikers. Returned to the Boston Store Visitor Center for the restrooms and then over the road for an iced coffee in the small store.

Take the Stanford/ Brandywine trail. A fun walk down through the woods down the gorge to the river bed then back up around to the falls.

This was an awesome hike. Very hilly terrain. Great scenery and good trail. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because there were a few moments where the trail markers were unclear. Also, you do have to cross a few streets, but it is mostly deep woods.

This a great hike with some nice inclines to get your heart rate up. I had a little bit of trouble finding the trail head and ended up adding a mile to my hike by doing the lake trail.

Variable in elevation and sweat a little! Great trail!

lots of bugs but beautiful boardwalk trail and cliffside to explore!

The whole trail is almost 5 miles, lots of hills! Great workout, and once you get past the nature center and construction it becomes peaceful and not too many people. You cross a few roads on the trail and walk along the path nearing the road for a few minutes, but mostly hiking in the woods. Lots of markers to keep you on track, and not end up lost or onto another path, like I do sometimes, lol. Some steep cliffs so be careful. Oh and I saw a coyote!

A decent trail to run. Caution for roots and rocks but pretty flat and very pretty scenery. Lots of bugs!

Annoying bugs and flyers make the experience not good

Great trail and enjoyed even on a hot day ! Lots of shade on this trail.

Beautiful

Nice trail. Decent elevation. Quiet & peaceful. A little off the beaten path.

This trail is pretty easy 80% of the time, but the dip in the middle can sneak up on you. I’d like to stop by the lake in the middle next time, but other than that there isn’t much to this trail.

Great Trail I never knew was there! I would put this in the moderate to hard category for the area due to all the climbs and difficult footing. It was 90 degrees that afternoon which made if sticky and buggy too. Lot of mosquitoes so bring your bug spray. Many Pileated Woodpeckers and Wood Thrush in the area. We will be back to do this one again!
