what a great app.no matter where you are at. it shows hiking apps.

This is a well kept secret so there are no crowds. Trails can be slippery when wet and sturdy shoes are recommended. I like doing this hike in the early spring when the snow melt fills the clear creek. Great place for a family picnic along the creek at the arch. If you have time the loop is scenic. Also a good place to bring your canine partner.

I walked <2 miles on the Moon Loop and got 11 ticks on my clothes. Trailhead off the Ginn Lane was a bit hidden. On the bright side, the sunrise and scenery were beautiful!

Good quick trip in the woods. Gets the heart beating with elevation changes. Well marked and easy to follow

My mother played at the natural bridge as a young child and I went to photograph it to give her a childhood reminder. I took a right at the fork and it was a beautiful hike. I do believe it was more than the advertised mile. The bridge is spectacular!!! I got to the parking lot a little after daybreak (a bit late for me) and was at the bridge by 6:30am.
I could not find the path to the top so that is for a different time. Didn't want to hike the trail back so I walked the creek to a point where I could get back on the path quite a way back. This place is gorgeous and I love what has been created for our enjoyment!

Nice nature trail that is a stop on the Great Missouri Birding Trail. The mapped version on the app is an abbreviated version of the trail, as the actual trail is 3 miles in length. The trail mostly passes through forest and along creeks and ridge lines above creeks. The last quarter mile of the trail follows a gravel road.

There are several creek crossings where you may get your feet wet. Some nice rock features and bluffs can be seen next to the creeks. The highlight of the trail was the varied number of wildflowers, which were beautiful.

This trail passes through mostly old growth forest and has some extremely large oak trees along the way. The right portion of the figure eight as mapped by this app is easy to follow. The left portion of the figure eight as mapped is almost nonexistent in some parts and evidently no longer used or maintained.

The Clifty Creek Conservation Area is a stop on the Great Missouri Birding Trail and it is definitely a "birdy" trail, although you will have to mostly bird by ear during the summer. The trail mostly follows ridges and overlooks the creek below and the valley the creek flows through. The trail crosses the creek twice so be prepared to get your feet wet. The natural arch is spectacular. If you go through the arch there is another side trail on the left that will allow you to climb to the top of the arch. A recent thunderstorm had dropped a few large branches and trees on the trail but you can get around them easily.

A beautiful trail. A bit challenging with small kids, but still able to go. My family will be back!

Very rugged terrain. There are several areas of the trail that have deep horse ruts. It would probably be impassable if it was muddy. Trails were somewhat marked. Lots of hills. Cross over several creeks, or the same creek several times. Camped alone a portion of Smith Creek. Saw a few other campsites along the way. Good for a one-nighter close to home. Will probably go back and explore the area again and spend another night. Decent stay.

Nice area but not an easy walk by any means due to horse ruts

Excellent three mile loop. Crosses stream 6 times. Very well laid out. Do clockwise. Backpack camping allowed.

Nice primitive no fee campground. I suspect always full in the summer. It s a trail head for the nice 1/2 mile boy scout created trail, but also the larger Cedar Creek trailhead.

This is an awesome hike! My wife and I were the only people on the trail, and we even crossed the creek after a few days of rain without issue. I recommend this to anybody looking to stretch their legs and escape the surrounding area for a short time.

Awesome hike. The land bridge makes this well worth it, but hiking along the low river was also nice. There would be difficult areas to cross the river after heavy rainfall, but this is an exemplary short hike.

Nice hills- loops around the water nicely

Beautiful hike!! Love it, go out every couple months:)

This has to be my favorite hike in surrounding areas. Well maintained. Great on hot summer days for a cool dip. Make sure you go when the land is still receiving rain. If you go in August, chances are the land will be dry and there will be no swimming hole.

Well maintained trail, clearly marked and a pleasant hike.

This was a really cool hike! Right now (August) all the water was very very low, so we managed to avoid getting wet at all. There were really cool places you could climb and so many unique sights to see. Also, there was like nobody there, which was really nice. The only thing negative was it wasn't marked well. There were arrows and letters, but we didn't know what any if it meant and there were arrows pointing in every direction so that didn't help at a fork in the road... There were way more trails the the "3 mile trail" they advertise. We ended up hiking about 4 miles because the trails were confusing. Which was fun, don't get me wrong! We had a baby on a schedule, so it was a little frustrating, but we made it back okay, it just took longer than expected. Will go back--and will prolly research the maps a little better so we know our way more.

Map here and at trailhead is incorrect. great trail, pretty creek, best in fall less leaves. Easy to follow trail is well worn but poorly marked.

Hiking was a challenge at times only due to poor trail markers. Good cliff views and camping spots.

One of my favorite areas in central missouri

Great trail that goes through a lot of water. It was a nice hike in a hot summer day with lots of beautiful scenery. But seriously, be prepared to get wet.

My daughter and I hiked this last weekend...it was a nice little trail down to the creek...Creek was pretty with the cave....we went back out the way we came just because the trail past the creek was hard to find and I remember another reviewer saying it was not marked

Fun trail, but even more fun if you're someone who likes to venture off the trail. Lots of streams with cool bluff lines to explore.
