Beautiful trail. Not crowded for Tuesday hike. We took our dogs and it seems like everyone else we saw on the trail did the same.

Definitely a must see if you're in the area! 4 miles up and 4 miles down. The first 2 miles are mostly up hill but don't get discouraged! It is definitely worth the hike. When you eventually get to the "Charlie's Bunion" sign, most people take a left toward the "Bunion". I recommended taking a right to stay on the AT. There is a small trail as soon as you form to the right on the left hand side.. Take that straight up to the trail less traveled for an even BETTER view of the Smokies! This is the highest point t possible to view the Bunion. Make sure you bring plenty of water and snacks!

easy hike, go in morning to avoid the heat and bring 2 liters water

Great trail. Took my 7 yr and we had the Bunion to ourselves for 40 amazing minutes today. Trail is absolutely moderate, not hard but not easy. First2 miles is uphill but then levels out to a nice high forest. The length should not be a deterrent if you bring enough food and water. Great views but the Bunion is small. Could be dangerous when crowded.

Rich history and hues. Love doing this hike in the fall.

A lot of trees covered some of the great views but the ones we found were spectacular. A great hike into a temperate rainforest.

Crowded but epic

Fantastic hike, amazing views

Sooooo many people....

Best arch in the national park! And the hike wasn’t as hard as some may say. Just make sure you start early enough to beat the heat and avoid crowds. We started at 7 am and that was the perfect time. I wouldn’t recommend starting this hike midday; it should honestly be closed around 11 am - 4 pm because that heat can be dangerous!

Completed over two days but hits most of the high points and you get a pretty good appreciation with this drive. Obviously you’d wanna do the longer hikes (devils garden) early on in the morning but you also wanna do the shorter ones early to avoid the crazy crowds because of how accessible those ones are so you have to decide

Fun trail with three distinct sections. Just be careful, sign at trailhead lists it as “1.5....one way.” Quickly read it and assumed it was mileage for out and back (like normal...). Was in for a slightly longer trip than planned. Lots of groups complaining about water very early on and resting in any shade they could find. Also lots of little kids with no water and barely any clothing/protection. Plan appropriately, it’s lots of sun and decent climbing for families.

This arch is a sunrise must. Get there earlier than 15 minutes before sunrise though because there were a wall of people setup with tripods hogging the entire photograph viewpoints at that time already. If not for the surprising amount of people I would’ve gave 5. Popular spot, so come early if you want a parking spot.

This is super short and easy. It’s at the bottom of the Delicate Arch trail.

It’s stunning!

This is a short easy trail over sand and compacted dirt. There’s some scrambling (if you want) over rocks at the arch. It’s beautiful!

It’s beautiful! Make sure to stop at the different turnouts. It’s worth a little delay.

This is a moderately easy trail over sand mostly. There is some scrambling over rocks closer to the arch. There’s some decent shade.

This is a short steep trail where you can see the Delicate Arch in the distance.

I hiked this trail starting around 10am before it got too hot. It was pretty steep and I had to stop and catch my breath a few times. There were a lot of people in the same boat. The view from the arch was well worth the hike.

Really nice short and easy hike to cap off my time at Canyonlands. Did it towards the end of the day when the sun was setting, which really made the experience!

My ABSOLUTE favorite hike in the Smoky Mountains. I always hike up to the Jump Off then back Down to Charlie's and it is always worth it. My gps clocked it at 9.2 miles to complete the Jump Off, Icewater Spring Shelter, and Charlie's Bunion. This hike never disappoints.

A Hike With History-
Get ready for a little American history of the old West. Take a short walk up to the top of Potter’s Field in the town Glenwood Springs and discover some interesting history of some famous and not-so-famous folks. Besides the memorial of Doc Holliday and Kid Curry, you’ll see markers of those who served in the early wars and even a family of serial killers who ran a hotel. The hike is short, and there are some moderately steep sections, but they are few and you are rewarded with a nice view of the town of Glenwood Springs below.

Very worthwhile walk to see delicate arch. It was super hot so wear a broad rimmed hat and bring plenty water. There are some shady areas under trees and rocks on the way up but it's 95% exposed. Terrain is varied and includes walking up a rock.... not a problem if it's dry. Great views at top. We took some time to enjoy view before returning down. We stopped by to see the petroglyphs.

Amazing beautiful...another tick on my bucket list

Amazing

Only down fall was sooo many people. It would be nice if they took a pic in the arch and let some one else take some.

A easy trail to see three arches

Very beautiful. I saw stars here at night, but it's really hard to find the way in the dark.
