I gotta say, I love this little trail. While it’s mostly a popular spot for rock climbers, I’ve gotten in 2-3 great hikes here, in winter, spring, and fall. The slush and mud in the winter made it a little precarious, due to the steep ledges, but with the right boots, you should do just fine. The fall, predictably, brings the best views here, as you catch the foliage on your way up and down, and also across the valley with a view of Wachusett. Quick, steep, but not strenuous, and lots of spots to have a seat, shoot the breeze, and take in some beautiful sights.

Short, pleasant walk. Very clean and well maintained. Wide trails are a mix of dirt and gravel. Lots of places along the trail where you can access the pond, including a few piers. Very close to the road at the back of the pond - keep your dogs leashed.

Trails well marked. Clean. Little buggy

Very cute, very short, tons of people

Beautiful. Calming. You must experience the powerful spray at the base of the waterfall.

stunning.. kind of a larger crowd but.plenty free to roam around and see all it's beauty..just amazing

Really accessible with a jaw dropping view of the falls.

Really neat! Quick stop off the highway with an amazing waterfall. Recommend checking out the trails surrounding the area as well.

Make sure to bring some money because it is 5 dollars to park, but that will be good for other spots in the area for the day so if you are planning more hikes it is fine. It was a little hard with the kids coming back up because of all the stairs and they got tired, but the falls were very beautiful.

Stopped by on the way to Mt Washington. Well worth it. Very short walk but a few dozen steps. $5 self-pay parking. Best $5 I've spent. Explore the area around the falls if you have time.

Brought our dogs there today. It’s not a long trail but really fun! There are some nice spots to stop before you reach the main waterfall to cool off the dogs or your feet.

About a mile trail very easy. For all skill levels.

great little trail, unfortunately no view.

Awesome!!! Nice walk even for a Fay Guy like me!!!

First, the positives. It is a lovely trail. The first (Northern) part is along the ridge line. We hiked before deciduous trees bloomed and had lovely views all along the way. There is an awesome rock scramble down a cliff (and then back up as we did it). The southern portion is a lovely walk through the woods with several easy creek crossings.
Second, the negatives. We had a very hard time finding the trail. We sent the directions to our phone and it sent us way off the route (north of MA 2), ending in someone's back yard. We then tried to find the northern terminus by map and found absolutely nothing. We then drove along the very straight, unnamed road between Narrows Rd. and Rte 31 and stopped at an unmarked trail and tried it. After some anxious minutes we found a Y in the trail with two signs, one downhill to Rte 31 and one uphill to "The Ledges." We took the uphill trail and it eventually crossed the MidState Trail. At the southern end of the trail we ran into Mt. Wachusetts Ski Resort before we got to the pond marked on the map, got irritated, and turned around. In total we lost two miles (one each way), so our hike was 8.2 miles rather than the 9.9 miles advertised.

Nice falls, easy trail to follow and well maintained. Main lookout is above the falls. Continue down granite staircase to view falls from the bottom.

Beautiful falls and multipul platforms from which to view them. It's a super short hike in. Lots of steps which could be a bit of a challenge for some, but definitely doable with a few pauses for rest.

One of my favorite spots! Really easy hike.

Delightful area to hike in winter. The loop up to and across the Crow Hills ledges offers a beautiful view point across the lakes and woodland below. Definitely recommend microspikes. There are impressive ice falls and 10+ foot icicles on the ledges. Be wary if temperature is rising. On last visit a huge section of an ice fall crashed down with a roar and sent soccer ball size ice chunks hurling down the trail.

Went mid Jan. parking and trailhead were closed. Had to park on side of road and trek through the snow to meet up with the trail. Great winter waterfall! Short and easy trail.
