Excellent trail! Beautiful scenery and lots of shade. Some inclines but not too much, pretty smooth and easy ride.

Visible trails, beautiful and peaceful. Can she a short trail walk or a long one.

Great trail with plenty of hills for exercise. All Trails with my phone GPS said the trail was 3.1 miles, not 4

It’s beautiful

Lots of elevation changes. Great trail.

We love hiking with our dog here.
Trials allow hikers, runners, cyclists, and horses
Plenty of room to explore !
My pup loves the creeks, the woods, and fields.
Highly recommend!!

Great trail for the Peoria area. Plenty strenuous especially if you go the full 14 mile out and back. There are several access points along the trail with toilets and water. Very little traffic during the week, and not much more on the weekends.

Very well marked trails. A few hills, but not too strenuous. It can be combined with some of the inner trails to go a little farther.

trails need marked better

The trails are well marked and fun to hike. Lots of rolling hills and scenic quiet spots. In early spring it’s easy to see the river from the higher elevations. Nice little gift shop too. Well worth getting to know!

clean swiggity

Great trail. it's hard to stay on track and do the full 7 miles. I think we managed to get 4 in today. Shared use for bikes, horses and hikers and dogs can run off leash. There's not many places to get outside but this is a great place to go in Central Illinois.

Great hiking trails

Not well marked so I ended up walking more like 9 miles and had to use my phone half the time to figure out GPS...otherwise it's nice. Lots of creeks.

fantastic trail... well maintained.... well marked.... lot of hills

Very peaceful and beautiful river bluffs

Love the trails but the number of dogs running freely has caused it to be low on my list of places to go. One dog bite did it for me.

A terrific place for all levels. My son likes the technical area with the jumps.

The trails aren't marked as well as I'd like. Personally, I think it's pretty easy to get lost. None of the signage points you toward the main trailhead/parking area.

Always well kept and easy for me and the kids. The trails can be busy on weekends.

first time out there, didn't take enough water and had to hop off short of a full go round! I will go back in a few weeks better prepared!

The trails were pretty flat and awesome. I really enjoyed it. Me and my g/f even saw about 5 or 6 deer as well.

My horses have a blast. Good terrain changes.

My daughter and I hiked the PimiteouiTrail. There were fabulous views and we saw plenty of deer.

I've hiked about two miles (four miles round-trip) of this trail beginning in Detweiler Park. It is beautiful through the forest, with some ups and downs. Mildly challenging in places if you are out of shape. I'd love to go for a longer hike to explore more of it and/or start at the other end. We've also taken our dog out for a shorter version of this trail too.

Beautiful park with excellent trails that are well marked and well maintained.
Route: BPP 1 > 2 > 3 > 5 > 6 (loop) > 5 > 3 > parking.
Trail Conditions: very good, no major obstacles or wash-outs.
Traffic: light. Only saw 2 mountain-bikers.
Cautions: watch your footing ... MANY exposed roots on the trail.

This was fun. Some parts were overgrown but there are maps along the way to help you.

Excellent trail system shared with off-road cyclists and horses. Trails are in good condition. Not many trail markers so I stayed on the established trails used by the cyclists. Beautiful blend of woods, fields, and streams (FYI, you may have some stream crossings).
