pretty trail. I'd say moderate to easy. some of the inclines are ragged so bring ankle tough boots. if you're interested in seeing the falls take the "blue" side as opposed to the "white" side as its much closer. if facing the mountain, street to your back, take the trail entrance to your far left. I took the one on the right and falls wasnt until the end of my hike. falls are quaint, not spectacular. just very pretty

Family friendly, Well marked trails. No dogs allowed. A bit crowded and noisy in areas. Stay on the green belt, or take some side trails. Some climbs a bit steep, in soft sand, making footing a bit challenging. We took our time and loved the views when we got to the purple painted trees. Ate lunch and continued on our way.

This one is well worth it. One of the most scenic trails I have done.

Good trail. Lots of variety and cross trails. Reasonably well marked. Steep climbs and descents if you come from or go down to the beach from the main trail. One of my favorite trails in Suffolk County.

NOT what it looks like. you're in people's backyard most of the time. then it leads you out onto trafficked roads for the last two miles. the pictures are misleading and the dam is not where the trails end. other than that what's in actual trails are pretty nice. but if you're looking for the dam it's 4 miles after the end

Wish it was closer to the water. Besides that not bad

beautiful walk nice quiet beach

The bike ride was a quick loop, took about a half hour to go around (maybe less). We found a view of the water and parked our bikes. We took a steep trail down to the beach and enjoyed the view and the breeze. Very nice and relaxing afternoon. I wouldn't recommend this trail if you are looking for a work out, but was pretty, well kept and overall a pleasant experience.

Nice little trail with rolling hills for trail running. Some street crossings but no traffic.

Great views
Excellent trails
Easy

it barely splits off from the road. it's hard to enjoy a hike when you can see and hear the traffic only a dozen or so feet away from you. if that bothers you, you may not enjoy it. however, there were a couple of good views.

Literally a walk in the park. Suitable for all ages and skill levels to walk, bike or trail run.

Lots of pretty sights in the woods and on the shore to see. Great place to watch the wildlife.

This is the type of place to get away from is all, enjoy nature, and relax with out going to far.

Camusett State Park was a great local hike. We walked along the beach as well which was nice.

Love this trail.. pretty easy trail but 6 months pregnant so it got a little rough for me around the rocky parts and some of the markers were difficult to find but definitely one of my favorites.

Love it , it gives me a good workout and the views are gorgeous only downside is the app drains the battery quickly

easy, beautiful trail walking or bike. love it.

First time hiker and I’m a big guy so as I was going I had to rest a bit but overall really not terrible. Decent inclines but well worth it if you’re there after a rainstorm or snowstorm to catch those beautiful waterfalls.

1st time hiking in sunken meadow state park. This is a great hiking trail, beautiful view, easy to follow. But this app drained the battery of my phone so we had to cut the hike short and go back to the car. Does anyone else have the same problem?

Good quick hike for people of all skill levels. We went right after a heavy rain and the falls were raging! The blue trail is easy to follow with a few nice view points. Ventured off the trail for a bit to examine this abandoned Dodge Colt (wonder what the back story is here!), it’s easily visible at the beginning of the blue trail descent.

Very fun trails, through the woods, or alongside a tidal basin. Also right next to a mile long beach boardwalk!

great place to ride in every respect.

Attractive, well maintained trail of packed soil and crushed stone. Winding with mild to moderate grades in some areas. Lightly trafficked on this early spring afternoon. Occasionally intersects neighborhood streets or passes by homes. Overall, very nice for easy going trail run.

Lots of roots, trunks to climb over, rocks and mud

Surprisingly good. Not a lot of options around White Plain to trail run and this turned out to be quite enjoyable. Enough interesting terrain that you could do a few laps before getting bored. About 1.5 of the trail had some interesting rock formations and gentle elevation changes to make the running very enjoyable.

Nice easy hike that goes to some really nice views

Quick little hike that was perfect for a dog coming back from an injury. I wouldn’t necessarily call it moderate for an experienced hiker, but the incline would be challenging if a beginner!

Beautiful views. On one side, it’s amazing, calm, beach side walk, there’s walking trail as well across beach side, and on other side is hiking trail. Trail covers view of sunken meadow tidal marsh. Photos uploaded.
