5 stars for the Corpus Christi area. Best place for bird watching imo. Seen a few Blue Jays, Green Jays and a bunch of other colorful birds. Going off trail into the woods is also fun. You'll see Deer and hogs so be careful. I bring bear spray in case one of them hogs tries to roll up on me. Oh, and it's a great spot to eat mushrooms .
The trail was well maintained. Trails were pretty well marked. Trail was marked as moderate but I thought it to be easyfor any family.. Several families had baby stroolers on the rock trail and concrete trails as well. For me It had too many trails that just ended and you had to walk back out. I like it to be more of a loop. When we went the big freeze had just ended. A lot of the foliage looked dead.
This is a short and sweet trail. We saw plenty of the wetland birds.
Nice morning hike but a shame to see such beauty ruined by trash!
medium challenge climb on nature trail nice scenery for hike
Nice overlook of mud flat from the boardwalk but the rest of the trail is boring and right next to the highway.
Very well kept gravel trail with some nice overlooks. Great place to bird watch. Pretty crowded on a weekend though.
It's as beautiful as any beach. The dunes to the West are the best preserved I've ever seen, though.
There don't seem to be many opportunities for a walk around here so we were happy to find it. Lots of benches, some overview points. Nice walk. Probably as good as it gets here but not much to write home about.
Serendipitous evening walk.
Pleasant short
Muddy closed. What was open was nice. Too bad. Could not navigate parts
Short trail. It can have a stench from the water plant, but go after a rain and it isn't strong. Take some time to admire the birds because there are so many in this area.
Very easy walk to the aquarium and back. Got on the pier next to the Lexington. Pretty sunny day!
Such a gorgeous stretch of beach, so much wildlife! Low tide was great. Saw live starfish, clams, cockles, whelks... Sand pipers, oystercatchers, great blue heron, pelicans, royal terns, grebes, ruddy turnstones, curlews, and more! Follow my instagram for more adventures @julie_journeys

Beautiful stroll down the beach. Concrete walkway. Saw some dolphins playing, the USS Lexington, and lots of birds. Be prepared to pay for parking.
Nice, short stroll. Beautiful fowl wildlife. The smell is horrible though.
